Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Memory Gardens Cemetery at Pampa with the Rev. Jerry Arrington, associate pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Richard W. Box Funeral Home of Crane. Mrs. Schmidt was born in Midland. She retired as a clerk for Sammon's Cable Co. She had been a member of the First Baptist Church of Pampa and received her 50-year pin from the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 476 at Texhoma, Okla. She married Gerdes William Schmidt in 1933. He died in 1985. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Florence Buzbee of Odessa. The family requests memorials be to Rural House of West Texas. The body will be available for viewing at the cemetery one hour before services. Dr. Ron Warner HEREFORD - Dr. Ron Warner, 56, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 1997. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Maysville, Mo. Burial was in the Fairport Cemetery at Fairport, Mo., by Parkside Chapel. Dr. Warner was born in Tulsa, Okla., and raised in the Fairport community. He graduated from Maysville High School. He received degrees in agriculture and animal science from the University of Missouri and his doctorate in animal nutrition from the University of Kentucky. He also completed several post-graduate education courses including the Penn State Industrial Management Course, The W.R. Grace Financial Management School, The W.R. Grace Communications Seminar and The American Feed Industry Association Marketing Seminar. He was a Methodist and served as the chairman of the church's administrative board. Dr. Warner also was a member of the American Society of Animal Science, the Youth Swim Team board of directors and Association's Marketing Committee. He was the director of nutrition and sales for Hi-Pro Feeds at Friona at the time of his death. Survivors include two daughters, Andrea Lee Warner of Champaign, Ill., and Claudia Ann Warner of Reno, Nev.; and a brother, Terry Warner of Fort Morgan, Colo. Wilhelmina A. Wimberley DAWN - Wilhelmina A. Wimberley, 89, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 1998. Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Dawn Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Ellingburg officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery in Hereford by Holley Funeral Home Inc. of Canyon. Mrs. Wimberley was born in Falls City, Neb., and moved to Canyon in 1910. She graduated from high school in Canyon and received her bachelor's and master's degrees from West Texas Normal Teachers College. Mrs Wimberley married William Warren Wimberley IV in 1933. She taught for several years and was a member and past president of the Pioneer Study Club and the Federated Women's Club. She was also a member of Dawn Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for more than 50 years and served as church treasurer for 35 years. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1961; and two brothers, Fred Oberst and Elmer Oberst Jr. Survivors include a son, Bill Wimberley of Dawn; a sister, Freda Axtell of Durango, Colo.; and three grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to Dawn Baptist Church Memorial Fund, Box 67, Dawn, Texas 79025. Lena Goldsmith Mills DUMAS - Lena Goldsmith Mills, 82, died Friday, Jan. 2, 1998. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Morrison Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens. She was born in Tecumseh, Okla., and had lived in Dumas since 1953. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, A.J. Goldsmith of Dumas and O.F. Goldsmith of Amarillo; two sisters, Flo Dunn of Colorado Springs, Colo. and Sis Gardenhire of Weatherford; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The family will be at 1723 Lewis, Dumas. Ola B. Johnson PLAINVIEW - Ola B. Johnson, 97, died Friday, Jan. 2, 1998. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Lemons Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Roger Foote, pastor of Northside Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Johnson was born in Van Alstyne and married Homer F. Johnson in 1936 at Leonard. She moved to Leonard from Van Alstyne, where she was raised. In 1949, she moved to a farm near Edmonson, and in 1950 she moved to Nazareth. She moved to Dimmitt and finally to Plainview in 1959. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church in Van Alstyne. She attended churches in Plainview. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1991; and a brother, Everett Bailey in 1997. Survivors include a daughter, Sue Walker of Plainview; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Nuel Sanders DUMAS - Nuel Sanders, 96, died Friday, Jan. 2, 1998. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Morrison Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel with the Rev. H.L. Stevens, retired pastor of Assembly of God Church, officiating. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Sanders was born in Abenton, Mo., and was a resident of Moore County since 1933. He married Ada Alice Piland in 1924 at Henrietta, Okla. Mr. Sanders was an operator for Phillips Petroleum Co. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a Shriner and a member of the Scottish Rite. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1989; and a daughter, Wanda McGechie in 1983. Survivors include a son, Nuel E. Sanders of Phoenix; a daughter, Lavern Smith of Pharr; a sister, Floy Brewer of San Angelo; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to Memorial Nursing and Rehab Center, 224 E. Second, Dumas 79029. The family will be at 923 Binkley, Dumas.
