Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Golden Gate Mortuary, 1416 N. Hughes. Mrs. Odie was born in Paris, Texas, and attended school in Bodock, Texas. She was a domestic worker. Survivors include a daughter, Ernest Wilson, of Amarillo; a granddaughter, Shakazia Wilson, of the home; seven grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. The family will be at 301 N. Jefferson. Darwin H. Allen Jr. Darwin H. Allen Jr., 48, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, June 2, 1998. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Memory Gardens Cemetery at Pampa with David Burger, his uncle, officiating. Arrangements are by CarmichaelWhatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Allen was born in McLean. He attended schools in Skellytown and White Deer and attended West Texas State University. He worked in construction for 20 years before becoming disabled in 1993. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Mitzi; four sons, Zack Allen of Atlanta and Josh Allen, Dillon Allen and Evan Allen, all of Austin; parents, Darwin and Fran Allen of Pampa; two sisters, Linda Westbrook of Winters and Jeanne Moore of Shamrock; and grandmother, Elva Wood of Wheeler. Geneva Jane Patrick Geneva Jane Patrick, 87, of Amarillo, a former Borger resident, died Wednesday, June 3, 1998. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Memory Gardens Cemetery at Pampa with the Rev. Rob Lackey, chaplain of Park Central Retirement Community in Amarillo, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mrs. Patrick was born in Carl Junction, Mo., and was a longtime Borger resident. She moved to Amarillo in 1997. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church at Borger. She married Samuel J. Patrick in 1933 at Newton, Kan. Survivors include her husband; and a brother, Mac L. Brett Trisitan Tucker Brett Trisitan Tucker, 2 months, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, June 2, 1998. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with the Rev. Dan Powers officiating. The body will be cremated. Brett was born in Amarillo. Survivors include a brother, Matthew Tucker of Amarillo; two sisters, Melissa Tucker and Torie Parks, both of Amarillo; and his parents, Sherri and Christopher Tucker of Amarillo. The body will be available for viewing this morning. Elsewhere Edward Wayne Moon EL CAMPO - Edward Wayne Moon, 50, died Tuesday, June 2, 1998. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Sidney Spiller and the Rev. Don Delaplain officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park by Triska Funeral Home. Mr. Moon was born in Dalhart. He graduated from Stratford High School in 1965 and received a bachelor of science degree in agricultural education from Texas A&M University in 1970. He received his master of education from Sam Houston State University in 1978. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served in the Army from 1970 to 1973. After his discharge, he taught vocational agriculture in Frost. In 1981, he moved to El Campo and began working for Pioneer. He was a retired district sales manager for Pioneer Hybrid International Inc. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Janet; a son, Gregory Douglas Moon of Houston; two sisters, Donna Jean Moon of Victoria and Barbara Carruth of Flowermound; his mother and stepfather, Geneva Hurt Moon Haile and Homer L. Morris Littrell Creel AUSTIN - Morris Littrell Creel, 86, died Monday, June 1, 1998. Services will be at 11 a.m. June 12 at First Christian Church in Borger. Arrangements are by Weed-CorleyFish Funeral Home. Mr. Creel was born in Ramona, Okla., and lived in Sayre, Okla., until the age of 21. He moved to Borger and worked for Phillips Petroleum Co. in 1933. He moved to Phillips in 1938, where he retired in 1977. He was a member of the Phillips Lions Club for more than 50 years. Mr. Creel moved to Fritch in 1987, where he was a charter member of the Fritch Lions Club and belonged to Boots & Calico Square Dance Club. He later moved to Austin. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ada E. Creel. Survivors include two sons, Morris M. Creel of Austin and Bert Creel of Tyler, and seven grandchildren. New Mexico Albinita Aragon TUCUMCARI, N.M. - Albinita Aragon, 97, formerly of Trementina, N.M., died Wednesday, June 3, 1998. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today in the Dunn Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in La Sagrada Familia Catholic Church in Garita, N.M. Burial will follow in Garita Cemetery in Garita. Mrs. Aragon was born in Sapello, N.M., and had been a resident of the Trementina area all of her life. She moved to Tucumcari three years ago. She was a member of La Sagrada Familia Catholic Church. Mrs. Aragon was a homemaker for many years. She was the school cook at Trementina School System and worked on the family ranch, owned by her and her husband. She was preceded in death by her husband, Isidoro Aragon, in 1972. Survivors include 10 grandchildren. The body will be available for viewing this morning until this evening at Dunn Funeral Home. Area Mary Esther McKenna BORGER - Mary Esther McKenna, 87, died Thursday, June 4, 1998. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today in Brown's Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. John's Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Isidore's Catholic Church Cemetery at Cuba, Kan. Mrs. McKenna was born in Hoisington, Kan. She graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in home economics. She served as a president of the Alpha Xi Delta sorority. She moved to Phillips in 1940. She moved to Borger in 1973. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, where she was the organist for 25 years. She taught religion classes and was an active member and past president of the St. John's Altar Society. Mrs. McKenna was active in the March of Dimes, where she served on the county board for 10 years and as chairman for six years; the Red Cross; United Fund; the Satellite board; Opportunities Center board; and the Cancer, Heart and Kidney drives. She was an organizer of the Phillips community concert group in the 1940s and served two terms on the board of the Tri-City Community Concert Association. She also had served as president of the Paragon Club, Women of Rotary and Borger Federated Music Club. She was a sponsor of Jane Phillips sorority and helped organize the Hi-Phi Club for teen-age girls in Phillips, the Borger Panhellenic Council and served as vice president of Community Forum. She was a charter member of the Women's Division of the Borger Chamber of Commerce, serving on its board for several years. She also was a volunteer worker in the retarded children's program and actively supported the St. Ann Orphanage in Panhandle. She received the Community Service Award and was awarded certificates of appreciation by the March of Dimes, Women's Division of the Borger Chamber of Commerce, Women of Rotary and the Order of the Rose from Alpha Xi Delta sorority. She married George E. McKenna in 1933. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Theresa. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Robert McKenna of Houston, Dr. Gary McKenna of Morristown, Tenn., and Dr. Joseph McKenna of Oklahoma City; a daughter, Sandra Seibel of Sarasota, Fla.; a sister, Retta Newkirk; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Dorothy Rollison Ludden PAMPA - Dorothy Rollison Ludden, 80, died Tuesday, June 2, 1998. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean with the Rev. Fred Palmer, pastor of Carpenters Assembly of God in Pampa, officiating. Arrangements are by Lamb Funeral Home in McLean. Mrs. Ludden was born in Columbus, Ohio. She married Barney Rollison in Columbus. He died in 1978. She moved to Pampa from McLean in 1980 and married Virgil Ludden in 1990. Survivors include her husband of Harrah, Okla.; three sons, Al Stevens of Pampa, Jerry Paul Rollison of Barksdale and Byron Rollison of Harrah; a brother, Jim Bailey of Durrant, Mich.; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchildren. Dennis Michael Smith HART - Dennis Michael Smith, 29, died Wednesday, June 3, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church in Hart with the Rev. Gerald Aalbers, pastor, and the Rev. Jack Lee, pastor of First Baptist Church in Shamrock, officiating. Burial will be in Hart Cemetery by Foskey-Lilley-McGill Funeral Homes in Olton. Mr. Smith was born in Plainview and had lived in Hart all of his life. He attended Hart High School and earned a ranching and feedlot operations certificate in 1990 from Clarendon College. He worked in family farming operations and was a member of the Army National Guard from 1989-1995. He was Baptist. Survivors include two daughters, D'Neise Michielle Smith of Hart and Rena Dawn Smith of McLean; a brother, Zachary Smith of Hart; a sister, Shelley Schulte of Nazareth; his parents, David and Pat Smith of Hart; grandparents, Harold and Faye Smith and Lester Richburg, all of Hart; and a stepgrandmother, Lela Richburg of Hart. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Heart Cemetery in Booker with the Rev. Jerry Moore officiating. Arrangements are by Good Samaritan Funeral Service of Booker. Mr. Jones was born in Canadian and attended Canadian High School. He worked with the family quarter horse business until enlisting in the Air Force. He later returned to work in the family business. Mr. Jones married Norma Jean Fronk in 1968 at Booker and lived in Canadian. In 1973, he moved to Booker, where he was truck driver for Fronk Oil Co. Survivors include his wife; a son, Robert Jones of Wichita Falls; a daughter, Kelly Jones of Canyon; and a sister, Shirley Allen of Taos, N.M. The family requests memorials be to Hospice of Perryton or Kiowa Kountry. Malvin Kuykendall SUNRAY - Malvin Kuykendall, 77, died Wednesday, June 3, 1998. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sunray Baptist Church with Brad Small, minister of Amarillo South Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Lane Memorial Cemetery by Morrison Funeral Directors in Dumas. Mr. Kuykendall was born in Wicks, Ark., and was a resident of Sunray for 54 years. He married Helen Aline Atchley in 1946 at Sunray. Mr. Kuykendall was a pumper for Kerr-McGee Oil and Gas Co. for more than 30 years, retiring in 1985. He served in the Navy from 1942-1945 as gunner's mate third class on the USS Kitty Hawk. Mr. Kuykendall was a member of Sunray Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1998. Survivors include two daughters, Mallonee Mullins of Amarillo and Elaine Flory of Grapevine; two brothers, Charles Kuykendall of Knoxville, Tenn., and Louis George Kuykendall of Tucson, Ariz.; two sisters, Evelyn Tipton of Aurora, Colo., and Doice Hedge of Wicks; four grandchildren; and seven great-granddaughters. Aubra Wilson Howard CHILDRESS - Aubra Wilson Howard, 79, died Wednesday, June 3, 1998. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Fairview Church of Christ with Billy Mayes of Childress Church of Christ and Mike Henderson of Childress officiating. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery by Johnson Funeral Home. Mr. Howard was born in Whitescreek, Childress County, and was a lifetime Childress County resident. He married Margaret Louise Gaither in 1938 at Childress. Mr. Howard was a store foreman for Burlington Northern Railway for 38 years, retiring in 1979. He was a member of Childress Church of Christ and the Benefits Association for Railway Employees. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Patricia Lynn Hernandez of Childress, Ellie Mae Knabe of Clinton, Okla., and Scherry Ann Sisco of Fort Worth; three brothers, W.F. Howard of Wheeler, Roy Howard of Childress and Travis L. Howard of New Braunfels; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The body will be available for viewing from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Roye Pigg QUITAQUE - Roye Pigg, 48, died Thursday, June 4, 1998. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Fairmont Baptist Church with the Rev. Ray Smith officiating and the Rev. Jess Little assisting. Burial will be in Gray Mule Cemetery by Myers-Long Funeral Directors of Quitaque. Mr. Pigg was born in Houston and married Mary Baker in 1974 at Jayton Baptist Church. He was owner of Sportsman Restaurant. He was active in Trails Day and chamber of commerce activities and a member of Fairmont Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife; a son, George Harrison Pigg of Quitaque; two daughters, Mary Elizabeth Pigg and Katherine Christine Pigg, both of Quitaque; his parents, Jack and Johnnie Pigg of Quitaque; three sisters, Jackie Sperry and Leslie Kelly, both of Quitaque, and Janinne Brooks of Silverton; three brothers, Clayton Pigg and Glyn De Pigg, both of Quitaque, and Clinton Pigg of Turkey.
