Patterson Henry L. Patterson, 72, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, March 4, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Warford-Walker Mortuary Inc., Chapel of Roses, 509 N. Hughes St., with the Rev. David Hill, pastor of New Hope Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mr. Patterson was a native of Rosebud and had been an Amarillo resident for 45 years. He served in the armed forces and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Earnestine; two sons, Gary Patterson and Eugene Patterson of Houston; a daughter, Diane Patterson of Englewood, Calif.; and a sister, Lena Hart of Compton, Calif. The family will be at 1321 N.W. 18th. Margaret Runyon Ebersole Margaret Runyon Ebersole, 82, of Amarillo, died Saturday, March 7, 1998. Services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Ivy Chapel, 2820 Virginia Circle, with the Rev. Danny Logan, pastor of Bell Avenue Baptist Church, officiating. Entombment will be in Llano Garden Mausoleum. Mrs. Ebersole was born in Clarendon and attended schools in Borger. She moved to Amarillo in 1954 from California. She was employed as a buyer by Panhandle Associated Grocers. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, Amarillo Senior Citizens Association, Order of the Eastern Star and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She married Earl Runyon in 1936. He died in 1956. She married Howard Ebersole in 1970 who died in 1981. Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Runyon of Amarillo and Dick Runyon of Corpus Christi; a daughter, Sue Becquet of Corpus Christi; a brother, E.W. Jones of Amarillo; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Michael Dworzack Michael Dworzack, 54, of Amarillo, died Friday, March 6, 1998. He was an engineer for Mason and Hanger at Pantex. He was a member of the Pioneer Promenade Square Dance Club, was a square dance caller, and a member of Amarillo Civic Chorus. He married Sarah Swinney in 1976 at Tucumcari, N.M. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Laura Moore of Aurora, Colo., and Dawn Powers of Burlington; a sister, Mary Jo Lewis of Newton, Iowa; and a brother, James Allen Dworzack of Las Vegas. Delilah Christine Arterburn Delilah Christine Arterburn, 72, of Amarillo, died Saturday, March 7, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Trinity Lutheran Church, 5005 I-40 West, with the Rev. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Amarillo Senior Citizens and Trinity Lutheran Church. Her husband, William H. "Dub" Arterburn, died in 1990. Survivors include three sons, David Arterburn and Buddy Arterburn, both of Amarillo, and Timothy Arterburn of Spring Branch; a sister, Zula May Culwell of Vigo Park; and two brothers, Jerry Shoemaker of Choutow, Okla., and Abner Shoemaker of Locust Grove, Okla.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family will be at 4906 Harvard. Andy Nelson Andy "Grandpa" Nelson, 83, died Saturday, March 7, 1998. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Llano Cemetery by N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd. Mr. Nelson was born in Bonham and had been an Amarillo resident for 57 years. He had been employed as a salesman for Palo Duro Ice Co., and Amarillo Independent School District. He retired from Kmart after 10 years of service. He married Hazel Ashcraft in 1938 at Montgomery County, Ark. She died in 1987. Survivors include a son, H.L. Nelson Sr. of Fort Worth; a stepson, Marion Ashcraft of Amarillo; a stepdaughter, Vicki Miller of Amarillo; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous stepgrandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and step-great-great-grandchildren. Buddy Griffin officiating. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Restland Memorial Park in Dallas. Mrs. Crow was born in Frederick, Okla. She graduated from Amarillo High School and Amarillo Junior College. She was an honors graduate of Texas Tech University where she received her bachelor of science degree in chemistry and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She retired as a chemistry teacher from Texas Tech. She married John H. Crow 49 years ago. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Carl A. Crow of Austin and Donald E. Crow of Pearland; two sisters, Norene Armour and Madge Dombrowski of Frederick, Okla.; and three grandchildren. The family will receive visitors from 6:30 until 8:30 today in the Windsor Room of the funeral home. Area Bobbie Nina Kellison LOCKNEY - Bobbie Nina Kellison, 89, died Saturday, March 7, 1998. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Moore-RoseWhite Funeral Home. Mrs. Kellison was born in Nocona. She attended school in the T. Cross community outside of Hollis, Okla. She moved to Lockney from Hollis in 1944. Mrs. Kellison was a homemaker. She was a member of the El Progresso Study Club, the Women's Mission Union at First Baptist Church, Lockney Senior Citizens and First Baptist Church. She married Vernon Herbert "Buck" Kellison in 1928 at Hollis. He died in 1988. She also was preceded in death by an infant son, Billy Joe Kellison. Survivors include two daughters, Gail Hickerson of Dallas and Carolyn Adams of Ruidoso, N.M.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. William Lewis Johnson GRUVER - William Lewis "Bill" Johnson, 79, of Oslo, died Friday, March 6, 1998. Mr. Johnson was born near Oslo. He graduated from Gruver High School in 1937 and attended Texas Technological College. He was active in farming and ranching. He was a member of the Hansford County Soil Conservation District and the Oslo Lutheran Church. He married Billie Joyce Walker in 1940. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Eloise Carol Hackett of Greenville; four sons, James Elton Johnson, Charles Eugene Johnson and Christopher Edward Johnson, all of Gruver, and Walter Eric Johnson of College Station; a sister, Amelia Johnson of Austin; six grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Burial will be in the Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home. Mrs. Taylor was born in Fargo. She graduated from Kelton High School in 1932. She retired as secretary for Celanese in Pampa in 1973 then moved to Wheeler. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She married Hendrix Bill Taylor in 1948 at Dumas. He died in 1981. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Paula Cochran, in 1940. Survivors include two sons, Boyd Cochran of Battle Ground, Wash., and Larry Taylor of Wheeler; a daughter, Phyllis Knowles of Fort Worth; four sisters, Thelma Bailey of Dexter, N.M., Rosalie Keelin of Brisco, Floy Larkin of Pampa and Joy Garrison of Borger; a brother, Roy Bradstreet of Wheeler; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He had been employed as truant officer by the Hereford Independent School District. He was a member of San Jose Catholic Church. He married Irene Griego in 1967 at Hereford. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Michelle Gallegos and Rita Walker, both of Hereford; his mother, Rita Guerra of Donna; four brothers, Primitivo Guerra Jr. of Grand Prairie, and Robert Guerra, David Guerra and Hector Guerra, all of Donna; six sisters, Lala Jackson of Grand Prairie, Rique Salinas of Ridgecrest, Calif., and Paula Webber, Ninfa Sauceda, Irma Villa and Rosario Moreno, all of Donna; and four grandchildren. He a retired ranch worker. Lena Mae Leach WHEELER - Lena Mae "Babe" Leach, 93, died Sunday, March 8, 1998. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Adams Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James McLeod, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in North Fairview Cemetery. Mrs. Leach was born in Johnson County and had lived in Wellington since 1911. She had been employed as an operator for the telephone company for 10 years. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and First Baptist Church. She married Hubert Leach in 1941 at Childress. He died in 1980. Survivors include four nieces and three nephews. The family requests memorials be to Wellington Cemetery Association. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery by Parkside Chapel in Hereford. Mrs. Mungia was born in Sonora and had lived in Hereford for 35 years. She was a homemaker and member of La Primera Baptist Church. She married Felix Mungia Sr. in 1960 at Hereford. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Fileberto Mungia and Felix Mungia Jr., both of Hereford, and Macario Mungia of Lubbock; three daughters, Duala Cantu, Diana Mungia and Delia Mungia, all of Hereford; a brother, Macario Arredondo of Dallas; three sisters, Alicia Noriega of Sonora, Gloria Gaytan of Hereford and Santos Amaya of Rifle, Colo.; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
