Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Memorial Park Cemetery by Hass Funeral Home. Mrs. Reilman was born in Childress and married Edwin Reilman in 1945 in Clayton, N.M. She was a member of First Christian Church. Survivors include a nephew, Bobby Glen of Hartley; and a niece, Betty Martin Jett of Springfield, Va. The family requests memorials be to Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice and Life Enrichment Center, Amarillo. Fred E. Parks Fred E. Parks, 59, of the Amarillo and Sanford areas, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1998. Memorial services will be at 2:30 p.m. today in New Beginning Church at Buna Vista with Don White officiating. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40 in Amarillo. Mr. Parks was born in Wheeler. He retired from the Navy after 22 years. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars at Kounze. Survivors include a son, Christopher Edward Parks of Coral Gables, Fla.; a daughter, Cristy Boston of San Diego; his mother, Josie Claudine Clark of Sanford; five sisters, Virginia Phillips of Beaver, Okla., Fern Whipkey of Pasadena, Carol Lemmons of Amarillo, Cindy Lee of Borger and Thelma Baughman of Channing; and two grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to VFW of Village Mills. Kenneth Donald Henson FLOYDADA - Kenneth Donald Henson, 61, died Thursday, Oct. 1, 1998, at San Antonio. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Floydada Cemetery with the Rev. Wendell Horn, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home. Mr. Henson was born in Caddo Mills. He married Ann Hickerson in 1957 at Plainview. Survivors include his wife, Ann of Uvalde; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Henson of Greenville; a daughter, Kenda Willoughby of San Antonio; two sons, Brent Henson and Bart Henson, both of Uvalde; a sister, Barbara Galloway of Canton; and a grandson. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Morrison Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel with Jerry Clark, pastor of Bible Baptist Church in Dumas, officiating. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery. Mr. Russell was born in Blackstone, Va. He retired after 21 years in the Air Force, which included two tours of duty in Vietnam. He moved to Dumas from Fritch in 1974. He married Joyce Tullos in 1955 at Raton, N.M. Survivors include his wife; a son, Don Russell Jr. of Amarillo; three daughters, Donna Claypool and Peggy Thompson, both of Amarillo, and Lori Porter of Dumas; his mother, Lola McCallum of Red Oak; and nine grandchildren. Winkle- Ostrander, 74, of Salinas, Calif., died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1998. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rick Harper, pastor of Main Street Church of Christ in Olton, officiating. Arrangements are by FoskeyLilley-McGill Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Mrs. Ostrander was born in Electra. She was a registered nurse anesthetist and certified nurse practitioner who practiced in California and Nevada. For 25 years, Mrs. Ostrander was a member and steward of the American Quarter Horse Association. She bred and showed quarter horses. Survivors include a son, Gale Lynn White of Little Rock, Ark.; a sister, Joy Elliott of Cleburne; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. Lina Jackson WHEELER - Lina Jackson, 68, died Thursday, Oct. 8, 1998, in Amarillo. Services will be at 3 p.m. today in First Baptist Church of Wheeler with the Rev. Kerry Moore of Briscoe officiating. Cremation and arrangements are by Wright Funeral Home of Wheeler. Mrs. Jackson was born in Papenrode, Germany. She moved to Wheeler in 1978 from Coldwater, Kan. She was a homemaker and attended First Baptist Church of Wheeler. She married Richard Roy Jackson in 1944 in Germany. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1995 and by three sons, Michael David Jackson in 1957, Thomas Jackson in 1992, and Jim Jackson in 1998. Survivors include two sons, Bill Jackson of Lubbock and Patrick Jackson of Oakridge, N.J.; four daughters, Rose Marie McKinley of Fort Towson, Okla., Nancy Webb of Carthage, Mo., and Terry Jackson and Katie Gallardo, both of Wheeler; 17 grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Parkview Hospital. Justin Green TURKEY - Justin Green, 19, of Maumelle, Ark., died Thursday, Oct. 8, 1998, in Little Rock, Ark. James Wilburn, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Tulia, officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery in Turkey by Myers-Long Funeral Directors. Mr. Green was born in Amarillo. He was a student at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and attended the First Baptist Church. Survivors include his parents, Jerry and Kathy Green of Maumelle; a sister, Jaymie Green of Maumelle; and his grandparents, Betty and Keith Green of Turkey and Audrey Simpson of Greeley, Colo. Marvelle Neuman TULIA - Marvelle Neuman, 78, died Friday, Oct. 9, 1998. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia with the Rev. Charles Davenport, pastor of First Baptist Church of Tulia, officiating. Arrangements are by Wallace Funeral Home. Mrs. Neuman was born and raised in Vigo Park. She graduated from Tulia High School and attended West Texas State University in the 1940s. She returned in the 1960s when she graduated. From 1970 until 1991, she taught kindergarten in Tulia. She also had a quilting business for a number of years. She married Howard Neuman at Tulia. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1988 and a son, Duane Neuman. Survivors include a daughter, Vicki Adams; two sons, Ralph Neuman and Troy Neuman, both of Canyon; four sisters, Romaine Flanagin of Austin, Betty Brown of Burkburnett, Nina Englishbee of Wheatland, N.Y., and Kathleen Vaughn of Dallas; two brothers, Mark Cox of Paris and Ralph Cox of Austin; and three grandchildren. Amarillo Joan M. Wiese Joan M. Wiese, 70, of Amarillo, died Friday, Oct. 9, 1998. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 3500 S. Bowie, with Charles Meyer, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mrs. Wiese was born in Hayfield, Minn., and had been an Amarillo resident since 1953. She was an active member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church and was a volunteer for High Plains Food Bank. She was a Campfire, Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader. She married Allen F. Wiese in 1948 at Rochester, Minn. She was preceded in death by her son, David Wiese, in 1988. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Beth Cole of Gaithersburg, Md., and Ann Wiese of Plano; two sisters, Donna Fairbanks of Shelton, Wash., and Connie Welker of Des Moines, Iowa; and three grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church Endowment Fund, 3500 S. Bowie, Amarillo, TX 79109; or a favorite charity. The body will not be available for viewing. Elsewhere Robert Dale Harris BROOKSTON - Robert Dale Harris, 60, died Thursday, Oct. 1, 1998. Services were at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, in First Baptist Church sanctuary with Dr. Sid Young and Dr. Jeff Beckett officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements were by Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home of Paris. Mr. Harris was born in Gruver where he graduated from high school. He received his degrees from Wayland Baptist College in Plainview. In 1995, he retired from the Campbell Soup Co. after 25 years as timekeeper in the accounting department. During his college years, Mr. Harris was youth and music minister in several churches including The Meadow Baptist Church in Meadow. Later, he held the same positions with Trinity Baptist Church and Seventh Street Baptist Church, both of Paris. As a member of First Baptist Church, Mr. Harris was a deacon, chairman of the deacon body, a worker in the youth department for 20 years and Sunday School director of the seventh-grade department. He was a member of the church sanctuary choir, Silvertones choir, adult handbell choir, director of the 3-year-old choir for two years and a member of the Singing Men of Texas. He served on numerous church committees including chairman of the finance committee and on the pulpit committee. He married Patsy Walker in 1959 at Fritch. Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Kathy Beckett of Rowlett, Diane Oatridge of Palm Beach, Queensland, Australia, and Beth Pearson and Tracey Veien, both of Paris; two brothers, Glen Harris of Gruver and Roy Harris of Crosby; two sisters, Velma DeWese of Plainview and Rachel Painter of Denver City; and 11 grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to First Baptist Church Music Ministry.
