Services will be at 11 a.m. today in Wood-Dunning Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Lee of Lubbock officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home of Plainview. Mrs. Henson was born and raised in Austin where she graduated from high school. She moved to Plainview in 1947. She was a member of Date Street Baptist Church. She moved to Amarillo in 1967 and to Lubbock in 1977. She was a member of Hiland Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She married L.D. Horton in 1948 at Plainview. He died in 1962. She also was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Horton, in 1985. Survivors include two daughters, Eldene Rendon of Victoria and Kary Gentry of Lubbock; a brother, Johnny Wood of Plainview; a sister, Mary Dunn of Plano; five grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren. Ralph H. Rudd SPRINGLAKE - Ralph H. Rudd, 88, died Saturday, May 9, 1998. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today in First Baptist Church of Springlake with his grandson, the Rev. Brad Enloe of First United Methodist Church of Seymore, and the Rev. Jim Pruit of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Springlake Cemetery by Ellis Funeral Home of Muleshoe. Mr. Rudd was born in Springlake and a lifetime resident. From 1965 until 1992, he served as city manager, mayor, water inspector and tax collector for the city. He was a farmer and custom combine operator. He married Lois Jewel Neeley in 1932 at Tucumcari, N.M. Survivors include his wife; a son Billy D. Rudd of Lubbock; a daughter, Henrian Enloe of Amherst; a sister, Ruby Thommerson of Roswell, N.M.; a brother, Robert Wood of Grass Valley, Calif.; four grandchildren; and seven greatgrandchildren. Leon Trolinder CHILDRESS - Leon Trolinder, 61, of Hooleyan, died Sunday, May 10, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church of Goodlett with the Rev. Gary Chapman, pastor, and the Rev. Johnny Robertson, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Childress, officiating. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery by Johnson Funeral Home. Mr. Trolinder was born in Hooleyann. He lived in Dallas for 36 years and worked at Texas Instruments in industrial management. He lived in Lubbock until his retirement then moved to Hooleyann in 1992. He married Norma Glover in 1956 at Quanah. Survivors include his wife; his father, Herman Trolinder of Hooleyann; four daughters, Jana Sue Holt of Wells, Karen Lee Kelley of Austin, Linda Kay Koonce of Idalou and Beth Ann Smith of Childress; a son, Troy Trolinder of Pilot Point; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. E.O. Wright MEMPHIS - E.O. Wright, 79, died Saturday, May 9, 1998. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Memphis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Hill officiating. Burial will be in Estelline Cemetery. Mr. Wright was born in Estelline and graduated from Estelline High School. He served for 17 years in the Marines in World War II and Korea. He had lived in Memphis for 17 years. Mr. Wright owned a service station in Estelline and California. He was a Mason. Survivors include a son, James Wright of Diamond Bar, Calif.; a sister, Ella Mae Nivens of Amarillo; and two grandchildren. Wynn, 82, died Sunday, May 10, 1998. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jeff Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Hall County by Memphis Funeral Home. Mrs. Wynn was born and raised in Estelline. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a farmer and a member of First United Methodist Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include his wife, Pauline; a son, Larry Wynn of Dallas; a daughter, Kim Galloway of Houston; and two sisters, Evelyn Goyne and Lavora Leverett, both of Grand Prairie. Burial will be in the Garden of Love at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Mrs. McKinney had been a resident of Borger since 1946 when she moved from Wellington. She was a bookkeeper for Buena Vista service station and a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She married Paul McKinney in 1941 at Wellington. Survivors include her husband; a son, Donny Paul McKinney of Borger; a daughter, Mona Reagan of Pampa; and two sisters, Mildred Pugh of San Antonio and Nina Ledbetter of Boise, Idaho. Amarillo Judy E. Benge Judy E. Benge, 51, died Saturday, May 9, 1998. Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia, with the Rev. Scott Greer, Paramount Terrace Christian Church, and Rick D. Mathis, minister of West Amarillo Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be at 4 p.m. today in Quanah Memorial Park Cemetery in Quanah. Ms. Benge was born and raised in Quanah where she graduated from high school. She had been employed by Village Cadillac for many years. She was employed by Schooler-Gordon/BlackburnShaw Funeral Home from 1984 until 1996. Ms. Benge joined Jim and Mary Schooler in 1996 and was instrumental in the construction and completion of Schooler Funeral Home where she was office manager. She was a hospice volunteer for Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice and Life Enrichment Center. Survivors include two sons, Bart Benge of Dumas and Jason Benge of Mississippi; a brother, Johnny Akers of Quanah; her parents, Dorothy and Wayne Akers of Quanah; and two grandchildren. Roach, director of pastoral care at Northwest Texas Healthcare System, officiating. Cremation is by Memory Gardens Crematory. Mr. Walker was born in Georgetown, Ohio. He moved to Amarillo 12 years ago from Cincinnati. He had been employed for eight years as a forklift operator by Freezer Services. Survivors include his wife, Patti Walker; five daughters, Tiffany Compton of Amarillo, Bonita Walker and Angel Walker, both of Cincinnati, and Niki Reames and Carrie Reames, both of Laverne, Okla.; a son, Tommy Lee Reames of Laverne; a stepdaughter, Jessica Rhodes of Amarillo; his parents, Howard and Virginia Walker of Cincinnati; three brothers, Kevin Walker of Amarillo and William Walker and Randy Walker, both of Cincinnati; a sister, Kimberly Constable of Morrow, Ohio; and a grandchild. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery in Morristown, Tenn. Mrs. Brown was born and raised in Amarillo. She moved to Tennessee in 1992 and returned to Amarillo in 1997. She and her sisters toured the Texas Panhandle singing gospel music. She was a member of River Road Baptist Church. She married Aron "Murl" Brown in 1938 at Amarillo. He died in 1993. Survivors include two daughter, Wanda Carlock of Amarillo and Ann Stapleton of Morristown; a son, the Rev. Gary Brown of Harrisburg, Ark.; three sisters, Mary Farris, Naomi Bailey and Clara Rodgers, all of Amarillo; a brother, Don Evans of Amarillo; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three greatgreat grandchildren. Burial will be in Memory Gardens by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 Bell St. Mr. Cox was born in Ringgold and moved to Amarillo in 1947 from Shamrock. He was a Navy veteran. He was a member of Southlawn Assembly of God Church. In 1986, he retired as supervisor of Asarco. He married Elner Maxcine Huie in 1944 at Shamrock. Survivors include his wife; a son, Edward Cox Jr. of Edmond, Okla,; two daughters, Carolyn Hasley of Amarillo and Sue Fry of Lawton, Okla.; a sister, Inez Campbell of Amarillo; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Georgia St. Mr. Broom was born in Amarillo and was a life long resident. He was self-employed as an interior designer for 40 years. She graduated from Amarillo High School in 1930. She sold Stanley Home Products for 50 years. She was a member of the American Business Women Association, the T.E.D. Federation Club, Amarillo High School 50th Alumni and St. Luke Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her son, Robert H. Smith of Amarillo; two daughters, Patty Buckley and Sue Whitlock, both of Amarillo; four grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m.(MST) Tuesday in The Chapel, 1500 Thornton with the Rev. Leroy Anderson officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. (CST) Wednesday in Oaklawn Cemetery in Rockdale, Texas. Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home. Mr. Anderson was born in Rockdale and moved to Clovis in 1961. He had been employed as a cook by the Sundance Steak House and for Ranchers and Farmers for 47 years. He was a Baptist. He married Mary White in 1969 at Clovis. Survivors include his wife; four sons, Billy Dykes and Victor Dykes, both of Clovis, Rasheed Murad of Arlington, Texas and Arthur White of Fort Worth, Texas; six daughters, Becky Dykes Moore of Rockdale, Evelyn Dykes Pinkston, Maxinell Gadison and Mary Logan, all of Fort Worth, Cassandra Bryant of Atlanta and Rita Hamilton of Mississippi; four brothers, Billy Joe Dykes of San Jose, Calif., Willie Ray Dykes of Lubbock, Texas, Orlester Dykes and Bennie Dykes, both of Dallas; and two sisters, Inez Moseley of Rockdale and Albertine Dykes of Houston.
