Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ted Samples, retired minister, and the Rev. Farril DeFoor, pastor of Grace Fellowship Church, officiating. Burial will be at Lockney Cemetery by Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home. Mrs. Dipprey was born in Floyd County. She graduated from Lockney High School and attended Plainview Business College. She moved to San Angelo in 1979 and back to Lockney in 1986. Mrs. Dipprey was a member of Grace Fellowship Church. She married Charles Dipprey in 1954 at Lockney. Survivors include her husband; her father, S.J. Williams of Lockney; three daughters DeeLane Buske of Kress, Charla Carthel of Lockney and Lisa Scott of Kress; a brother, Robert Williams of Weatherford; a sister, Sherry Race of Pampa; nine grandchildren; and a greatgrandchild. The family suggests memorials be to Grace Fellowship Church at 211 N. Main St., Lockney, TX 79241. Hazel A. Johnson TULIA - Hazel A. Johnson, 82, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 1998. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Tulia Church of Christ with Dennis Conway, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Silverton Cemetery by Wallace Funeral Home. Mrs. Johnson was born in Greenville. She was raised in the Rock Creek community in Briscoe County where she attended schools. She moved to Tulia in 1949. She was a housewife and had worked at Jefferson's Laundry and C.R. Anthony's. She also sold Avon. Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Tulia Church of Christ and the Tulia Senior Citizens. She married Charlie Abraham Johnson in 1933. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1985 and a daughter, Charlie Danielin 1996. Survivors include two daughters, Bettye McKone of Tulia and Patsy Franks of Hart; two sons, W.O. Johnson of Sudan and Danny Johnson of Tulia; a sister, Joyce Gaston of Nocona; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Lola Blanche Noyes HEREFORD - Lola Blanche Noyes, 90, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 1998. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Rest Lawn Cemetery with Monsignor Orville Blum, pastor of St. Anthony's Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Gililland-Watson Funeral Home. Mrs. Noyes was born in Commerce and moved to Deaf Smith County from Vera. She was a homemaker and a seamstress. She was a Baptist. She married B.B. Noyes Sr. in 1926 at Commerce. She was preceded in death by two sons, Don Noyes and Ben Noyes Jr. Her husband died in 1992. Survivors include four daughters, Edna "Doll" Thompson of Amarillo, Faye Keener of Portales, N.M., Beverly Wynn of Lubbock and Helen Noyes of Hereford; two sons, Jim Noyes of Hereford and Bob Noyes of Chico; five sisters, Johnnie Davis of Olton, Myrte Formway of White Deer, Odene Helms , Marie Simms of Logan, N.M., and Dora May Seale of Midland; a brother, Clarence Ray Payne of Midland; 27 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to the American Cancer Society. Clyde Hoyte Hale Jr. QUANAH - Clyde Hoyte Hale Jr. 80, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 1998, at Wichita Falls. Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Clinton Young officiating. Burial will be in Quanah Memorial Park by Price-Jackson Funeral Home. Mr. Hale was born in Agatite and had lived in Quanah most of his life. He graduated from Quanah High School. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the First Baptist Church. He worked for Georgia Pacific for 46 years, retiring in 1986. He married Frances Rada Lee in 1939 at Altus, Okla. Survivors include his wife; a son, Roger Hale of Fort Worth; a daughter, Susan Lumpkin of Quanah; three brothers, Glynn Hale of Huntington Park, Calif., and Kenneth Hale and Jackie Hale, both of Blythe, Calif.; two sisters, Betty Jo Bates of Blythe and Lois Stewart of Kingman, Ariz.; and four grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to the First Baptist Church. They will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today for visitation. Charles L. Murley FRITCH - Charles L. Murley, 65, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 1998. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel at Borger with Danny Courtney officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in Willow Cemetery at Willow, Okla. Mr. Murley was born in Gainesville and moved to Fritch 22 years ago. He worked for the Texas Highway Department as a street sweeper until his retirement in 1988. He was a Baptist. He married Lona Yeager in 1962 at Borger. Survivors include his wife; a son, John Murley of Fritch; a daughter, Denise Yohn of Fritch; a sister, Bobbie Courtney of Borger; and seven grandchildren. The body will be available for viewing at the funeral home. The family will be at 307 N. Cornell in Fritch. Merle Clements CHILDRESS - Merle Clements, 72, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 1998. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Johnny Robertson, pastor, and Bill Mayes of the Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be at Childress Cemetery by Johnson Funeral Home. Mrs. Clements was born in 1926 at Cottle County, moving to the Childress community in 1945. She had been a seamstress for Lancers and a substitute teacher in public schools. Mrs. Clements was a member of First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Jones Circle of the Methodist church and the hospital auxiliary. She married A.L. "Tot" Clements in 1944 at Quanah. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Barbara Nadene Berezoski of Houston; a son, Clifton Eugene Clements of Houston; two sisters, Louise Etheredge and Estelle Gibson, both of Childress; and five grandchildren. Alta Valena Boyd PAMPA - Alta Valena Boyd, 94, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 1998, at Panhandle. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Lynn Hancock, pastor of Briarwood Full Gospel Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Boyd was born in Nottinghill, Mo., and moved to the Texas Panhandle in 1923 from Talala, Okla. She married W.L. Boyd in Skytook, Okla. They farmed southwest of White Deer. After his death in 1943 she continued to operate the farm. She also worked in a restaurant and cared for the elderly. She was a longtime resident of White Deer before moving to Pampa in 1980. She was a Baptist. Survivors include three sons, George James Boyd and Arlie Deano Boyd, both of Pampa, and Clyde William Boyd of Stinnett; nine grandchildren; 20 greatgrandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Amarillo James Joseph Arrasmith Sr. James Joseph Arrasmith Sr., 62, of Amarillo, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 1998. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Llano Cemetery East with Richard Dickerson of Temple Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd. Mr. Arrasmith was born in Wilmington, Ohio. He moved to Amarillo in 1984 from Sabina, Ohio. He worked for Western Merchandisers until he retired in 1992. He was a nondenominational church member. Mr. Arrasmith married Frances Tomlinson in 1971 at Ohio. She died in 1995. Survivors include three sons, Brad Arrasmith of Amarillo, Mark Arrasmith of Dallas and James Joseph Arrasmith Jr., of Ohio; three daughters, Sherri Hertzler of Loveland, Ohio, Pam Arrasmith of Fort Worth and Anita Arrasmith of Ohio; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Dorothy Bell Kiefer Lindsley - Dorothy Bell Kiefer Lindsley, 73, of Amarillo, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in N.S. Griggs & Sons Chapel, 2615 Paramount Blvd., with Dr. Howard Batson, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon. Mrs. Lindsley was born in Fort Cobb, Okla., and had been a resident of Elk City, Okla., before moving to Amarillo in 1960. She was a secretary at Great Southern Life Insurance Co. for more than 15 years, retiring in 1981. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church. She married Bobby Ray Lindsley in 1948 at Oklahoma City. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1960 and a son, Robert E. Lindsley, in 1989. Survivors include a son, Michael S. Lindsley of Amarillo; her mother, Doris Kiefer of Anadarko, Okla.; a sister, Donis Adkins of Amarillo; three brothers, Freal Kiefer of Apache, Okla., Forrest Kiefer of Fort Cobb and Robert Kiefer of Anadarko; and a grandson. The body will be available for viewing from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Oklahoma Clarice Lee Inmon HARDESTY, Okla. - Clarice Lee Inmon, 76, a former Hardesty resident, died Friday, Dec. 11, 1998, at Liberal, Kan. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Hartville Cemetery at Hardesty with the Rev. Odie Nunley officiating. Arrangements are by Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon. Mrs. Inmon was born in Tribune, Kan. She married Homer Dwight Inmon in 1948 at Clayton, N.M. They moved to Hardesty in 1980 from Canon City, Colo. He preceded her in death in 1996. Survivors include four children, Clifford James Inmon of Blaine, Minn., William Joseph Inmon of Annapolis, Md., Mickey Inmon of Liberal and Danny D. Inmon of Fort Worth; and five grandchildren. Erma Lorene Hale GUYMON, Okla. - Erma Lorene Hale, 74, a former Guymon resident, died Sunday, Dec. 6, 1998, at San Antonio. Services will be at 10 a.m. today in the Foursquare Church with the Rev. Philip Ovalle of the Southland Foursquare Church in West Valley City, Utah, officiating. Burial will be in the Elmhurst Cemetery by Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home. Mrs. Hale was born in Guymon and was raised on the family farm northwest of Guymon. She worked in the nursing industry the majority of her working life. She attended Foursquare and First Pentecostal churches. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. She was married to Harvey Ivie. She married Elmer Elliott. He died in 1976. She married Ralph Benton Hale in 1979 at Richardson, Texas. He died in 1994. Survivors include five children, Charles Eugene Ivie of Lakeside, Ariz., Mildred Lorene Ovalle of Salt Lake City, Utah, Mary Rosett Robinson of Pampa, Texas, Shirley Ruth Williams of San Antonio, Texas, and David Mark Ivie of White Deer, Texas; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. New Mexico Pauline Cherry Blakeley CLAYTON, N.M. - Pauline Cherry Blakeley, 85, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Rammage, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Grenville Cemetery at Grenville by Hass Funeral Directors. Mrs. Blakeley was born in Grenville in a railroad boxcar which served as the station master's house. She was a 1932 graduate of Grenville High School and a member of the First Baptist Church. She spent a few years in Texas during the 1930s, returning to Clayton where she was employed as a clerk in downtown stores including the Sprouse-Ritz, Ramsey's Dry Goods and Smithson Drug Store. Mrs. Blakeley worked for Dr. A. Storrie, chiropractor, in the late 1940s and early 1950s. She was manager of the Coffee Break Cafe before becoming the first executive director of the Union County Senior Citizens Center. She was the society reporter for the Union County Leader from 1976 to 1985. After retirement, she served as a volunteer at the Herzstein Memorial Museum at Clayton. Survivors include two sons, Bill E. Blakeley of Aurora, Colo., and D. Ray Blakeley of Clayton; a sister, Ione Owens of Raton, N.M.; four grandchildren; a great-granddaughter. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Mission Garden Memories with arrangements by Muffley Funeral Home. Mrs. Lucero was born in Lubbock. She moved to Clovis in 1968 and worked as a dry cleaning laborer. She was a member of Templo Apostolica Fidelphia de Christo Jesus. Survivors include a stepfather, Juan Lopez of Lubbock; a brother, Avar Lucero of Delano, Calif.; a sister, Juanita Martinez of Lubbock; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
