Mrs. Lehman was born in Amarillo, where she was a lifetime resident. She married Mike Lehman in 1980 at Amarillo. Survivors include her husband; her mother, Ginette Calvert of Amarillo; a son, Mike Miller of Amarillo; and two sisters, Annie Whitehead-Howerton of Amarillo and Betty Millen of Boston. Barbara Cady Barbara Cady, 62, a former Amarillo resident, died Wednesday, March 11, 1998, in Lubbock. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road, with Monsignor Francis A. Smyer of St. Mary's Catholic Church officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Ms. Cady was born in Oklahoma City and grew up in Monahans. She lived in Amarillo for 40 years before moving to Lubbock two years ago. She received her nursing degree at St. Anthony's Hospital with one of the first graduating classes there. She was a registered nurse at the Osteopathic Hospital. Ms. Cady was Catholic. Survivors include two daughters, Annette Boehning of Lubbock and Beverly Morales of Amarillo; a brother, Frank Stockett of Vancouver, Wash.; a sister, Elizabeth Woods-Hays of Amarillo; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. The family will be at 1739 Walker. Forest James Hamilton Forest James Hamilton, 84, of Amarillo, died Thursday, March 12, 1998. Services will be at 3 p.m. today in Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors Bell Avenue Chapel, 5400 Bell St., with the Rev. Ronnie Tucker of Friendship Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Hamilton was born in Anna. He moved to Amarillo in 1964 from Dumas. He was a self-employed painter before retiring. He was a veteran of the Army and a member of Friendship Baptist Church and the Fort Worth Masonic Lodge. He married Lula Estella McDaniel in 1980 at Amarillo. He was preceded in death by a son, Clifford Ray "Pete" Hamilton, in 1995. Survivors include his wife of California; two sons, William T. Hamilton of Dumas and Raymond L. Hamilton of Garland; three daughters, Marelda Adams and Betty Dickerson, both of Amarillo, and Wilma Hamilton of Bigelow, Ark.; three brothers, Milburn Hamilton of Florida, and Walter Hamilton and Billie Hamilton, both of Arkansas; a sister, Mildred Dixon of Arkansas; 28 grandchildren; 35 greatgrandchildren; and seven great-greatgrandchildren. The family requests memorials be to the High Plains Children's Home. Oklahoma Will Everet Larson GUYMON, Okla. - Will Everet Larson, 90, died Wednesday, March 11, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Wiggin officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery. Mr. Larson was born in Little Robe. He worked as a cowboy in Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Wyoming and Montana. He joined the Army in 1942 and served in the Army Corps of Engineers in England, France and Germany. After returning from the service, he and a partner bought a rock crusher and built roads in Texas. After moving to Guymon, he purchased and operated the Yucca Motel. Later, he worked as a janitor and maintenance man at OPSU at Goodwell. He retired at the age of 80. Mr. Larson married Nell Kerr Harper in 1962 at Raton, N.M. She preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by a stepson, Jack Kerr. Survivors include a daughter, Jackie of Guymon; a sister, Enla Fae Wheller of Canadian, Texas; a brother, Frank Larson of Belen, N.M.; and four grandchildren. Burial will be in Littlefield Memorial Park in Littlefield by Hammons Funeral Home of Littlefield. Mr. Bush was born in Littlefield and graduated from Spade schools. He graduated from Lubbock Christian University in 1995. He was a member of the Church of Christ and of the Meister Singers for a year. He married Allison Cash in 1995 at Littlefield. Survivors include his wife; his parents, Joe Mac and Marilyn Bush of Spade; a brother, Mark Stokes of Hereford; two sisters, Patty Conley of Sudan and Pam Morgan of Portales, N.M.; and grandparents, M.S. and Malissie Bush of Littlefield. The family requests memorials be to the Littlefield EMS or the Missions Club at Lubbock Christian University. Area Dwight Duncan DUMAS - Dwight Duncan, 66, died Tuesday, March 10, 1998. Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Wagoner, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle, in Amarillo. Mr. Duncan was born in Egan, S.D. He attended Egan Consolidated Schools and graduated from South Dakota State University in 1960. He served in the Air Force from 1950 to 1952. He was a cattle buyer for several packing companies in Iowa from 1960 until 1984, when he moved to Dumas and worked as a cattle buyer until recently. Mr. Duncan was a community leader serving in many organizations including 4-H, Little League baseball and a local hospital board. He was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church. Mr. Duncan married Ardyce Beryl Smith in 1951. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Michael Duncan of Oconomowoc, Wis., Mark Duncan of New Virginia, Iowa, and Bruce Duncan of Brandon, S.D.; two sisters, Grace Amdahl of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Verla Wagoner of Cohales, N.Y.; and five grandchildren. Elwyn Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. Mr. Workman was born in St. John, Kan. He had lived in the Perryton area since 1960, moving from Oklahoma. He was a self-employed salvage dealer. He was a member of First Assembly of God. He married Lora Brown in 1949 at Raton, N.M. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Nellie Helfenbien of Perryton and Robbie Sparks of Pampa; three sisters, Merle Sanders of Wichita, Kan., Juanita Cotton of Bartlesville, Okla., and Anna Mendenhall of Red Oak, Okla.; four brothers, Paul Workman, George Workman and Raymond Workman, all of Bartlesville, and J.D. Workman of Okmulgee, Okla.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to a favorite charity. Ben Hand SKELLYTOWN - Ben Hand, 80, died Friday, March 13, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Gardner Street Church of Christ in Borger with Richard Kasko, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in White Deer Cemetery at White Deer by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mr. Hand was born in Tuscumbia, Ala., and had been a resident of Skellytown since 1936. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Hand worked for Northern Natural Gas in Skellytown for 40 years before retiring in 1982. He was a member of Gardner Street Church of Christ in Borger. He married Margaret E. Stewart in 1945 at Kerrville. She died in 1991. Survivors include a daughter, Lynne Kossey of Borger; two brothers, Louis F. Hand of Spearman and Bob Hand of Batesville, Ark.; a sister, Lottie DeBust of Plain Dealing, La.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Thomas Newell Allen SPEARMAN - Thomas Newell Allen, 74, died Friday, March 13, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Church of Christ with Frank Pittman and Willie Tolison officiating. Burial will be in Hansford Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. Mr. Allen was born in Wilson, Okla. He had lived in the Spearman area for 68 years, moving from St. Louis, Okla. He was a farmer before retiring in 1987. He served with the Navy as a radarman during World War II. He attended Panhandle A&M University. He served on the Hansford County ASCS Election Board and the Perryton Equity Board. Mr. Allen married Dickie Kiker Robinson in 1972 at Amarillo. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Lynn Riley of Perryton and Diana Parker of Amarillo; a son, Skipper Robinson of Austin; two sisters, Maxine Vernon of Springville, Calif., and Norma Jo Peargin of Pismo Beach, Calif.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Arrangements are by Parsons-Ellis Funeral Home. Mr. Nieto was born in Mexico. He moved to Earth in 1959 from Mexico. He was a heavy machine operator in the road construction business. He worked for Amarillo Road Construction. He married Mercedes "Maria" Nieto in 1961 at Earth. Survivors include his wife; six sons, Eddie Nieto of Olton, and Manuel Nieto Jr., Max Nieto, Joe Nieto, Raymond Nieto and Rickey Nieto, all of Earth; six daughters, Lilly Peralez of Amarillo, Maria Hernandez of Olton, Lydia Hart of Rogers, Ark., Teresia Rosa of Lakeview, and Nora Mendoza and Cindy Juarez, both of Earth; his father, Frank Escalante of Earth; his mother, Ecikia Escalante of Mexico; six sisters, Paula Sanchez and Stella Nieto, both of California, Elizabeth Sanchez of Fabian, Mary Ann Ramon and Francis Elsondo, both of Earth, and Carmen Escalante of Amarillo; two brothers, Poloa Nieto of Mexico and Thomas Escalante of Earth; and 34 grandchildren. Lucille Burns PAMPA - Lucille "Granny" Burns, 91, died Friday, March 13, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Jim Cole, pastor of First Church of the Nazarene of Dalhart, officiating. Burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery at Wheeler. Mrs. Burns was born in Honey Grove and had been a resident of Pampa since 1934. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She married Albert Burns in 1929 at Shamrock. He died in 1957. Survivors include five daughters, Bobbie Ehmann of Miami, Delphia Biggers of Lubbock, Betty Joan Nail and Peggy Lou Summers, both of Pampa, and Orna Fay Davis of Sweetwater, Okla.; a son, Dale Burns of Pampa; three sisters, Amy Turcotte of Pampa, Annie Ruth Lee of Wheeler and Velma Johnson of Kingsland; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
