Services will be at 1 p.m. today in Del Norte Baptist Church in Albuquerque with Michael Champouillon, pastor, Alan Hawkins, pastor, the Rev. Don Wiley, the Rev. Carmen Connor and the Rev. William A. Ware officiating. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church of Enochs with the Rev. Cliff Hargrove, pastor of First Baptist Church of Sudan, officiating. Burial will be in Sudan Cemetery by Ellis Funeral Home of Muleshoe. Mrs. Moore received her bachelor's degree from West Texas State University, a master of science degree from Texas Tech University and did postgraduate studies at Oklahoma State University. In addition to teaching, she was a homemaker and member of Del Norte Baptist Church. Mrs. Moore taught home economics in Bula then at various high schools in Texas and Elida, N.M. She was one of the founding faculty members of the University of Corpus Christi. In 1950, she taught home economics and teacher education at New Mexico Highlands University and retired in 1982 as an Associate Professor of Home Economics Emeritus. She was a member of the American Association of University Women and the National Retired Teachers Association. She married the Rev. Gerald Moore at Albuquerque. He died in 1992. She also was preceded in death by a son, Gerald M. Moore Jr., in 1951. Survivors include her daughter, the Rev. Dr. Marsha Ann Moore of Albuquerque; and a sister, Lena Johnson of Roswell, N.M. The family requests memorials be to the new building fund, First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 54, Las Vegas, N.M. 87701. Mildred Stanley PAMPA - Mildred Stanley, 81, died Saturday, March 14, 1998. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in The Hobart Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold Hook and the Rev. J.C. Burt of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Stanley was born in War Eagle, Ark. She moved to Pampa from Borger in 1946. She had been employed by Your Laundry and Dry Cleaners, Furr's Supermarket and Highland Drive-In. She was a charter member of The Hobart Baptist Church and a member of the T.E.L. Sunday School class. She married Bill Stanley in 1939 at Borger. Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Davis of Amarillo and Hazel Furgeson of Lefors; a son, Jim Stanley of Pampa; four sisters, Opal Muherin of Washburn, Mo., Dora Dean Maxwell of Rogers, Ark., Hazel Clanton of Bakersfield, Calif., and Izella Heinrich of Marysville, Calif.; and two brothers, Harold Myers and Billy Meyers, both of Garfield, Ark. Sean Delaney WELLINGTON - Sean Delaney, 16, died Sunday, March 15, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. James McLeod, pastor, and the Rev. He attended Wellington schools, where he was a member of the junior class. He was active in football, baseball, and was on the A/B honor roll. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was active in track and band. He was a member of the Texas National Guard and a Baptist. The family requests memorials be to the Wesley Needham Memorial Track Scholarship, c/o Wellington High School. Troy E. Renfroe BORGER - Troy E. Renfroe, 90, died Saturday, March 14, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Sheppard, pastor of Faith Covenant Church, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors of Borger. Mr. Renfroe was a native of Kent County and was a longtime Borger resident. He retired as a turbine operator with Southwestern Public Service. He was a former deputy with the Hutchinson County Sheriff Department and a former member of the Borger Police Department. Mr. Renfroe was a member of Faith Covenant Church, a 32nd degree Mason with Adobe Walls Masonic Lodge No. 1355 and a Shriner. He was a former volunteer with the Salvation Army and a former member of the Boys Optimist Club. He married Nancy Long in 1985 at Pomona, Calif. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pauline Berry, in 1972; his second wife, Margaret Kirby, in 1982; and a son, Ed Renfroe, 1n 1993. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Raymond Renfroe of Borger, Darrell Renfroe of Amarillo and Fred Shults of New Market, Tenn.; a daughter, Darlene Renfroe of Amarillo; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Amarillo Dorothy Cain Leard Dorothy Cain Leard, 72, of Amarillo, died Friday, March 13, 1998. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St., with the Rev. Bill Fitzgerald of San Jacinto United Methodist Church and the Rev. Royce Womack, retired Methodist minister, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Leard was born in Grenola, Kan., and moved to Amarillo in 1939. She graduated from Amarillo High School in 1943. She was one of the original five employees of the American Quarter Horse Association when their office moved to Amarillo in 1946. Mrs. Leard and her husband owned the Memory Frame, a craft business. She was a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi and a league bowler. She was a member of San Jacinto United Methodist Church and the Ambassador Sunday School class. She married Anon G. Leard in 1946 at Amarillo. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Nona Hutcherson and Leigh Ann Powell, both of Amarillo; a son, Dan Leard of Amarillo; a brother, Bill Cain of Amarillo; and eight grandchildren. "Jack" Shelton, 85, of Amarillo, died Friday, March 13, 1998. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mr. Shelton was born in Mendoza. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He moved to Amarillo 29 years ago. Mr. Shelton was a salesman for the American School then a security guard for Bell Helicopter. He was a member of the American Legion and Trinity United Methodist Church. He married Anna Willsey in 1971 at Amarillo. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jackie Shelton. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Shirley Clark of Austin; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Jarrett Jeff Ransom Jarrett Jeff Ransom, 83, of Amarillo, died Friday, March 13, 1998. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mr. Ransom was born in Claude, graduating from Claude High School in 1932. He moved to Amarillo from Colorado in 1951. Mr. Ransom was founder and former owner of Tri-State Fence Co. and the Patio Shop. He was a member of Central Baptist Church. He married Adlyne Croom in 1936. Survivors include his wife; four sons, Bruce Ransom of Amarillo, Ed Ransom of New Braunfels, Tim Ransom of Phoenix and Bill Ransom of Salt Lake City; a daughter, Sue Sanders of Amarillo; a brother, Don Ransom of Claude; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family will be at 2713 Pawnee. Gerald D. Coker Gerald D. "Bob" Coker, 70, of Amarillo, died Saturday, March 14, 1998. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church chapel with the Rev. Chester O'Brien, retired Baptist minister, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mr. Coker was born in Summerfield and had lived in Amarillo since 1980. He was a farmer and member of First Baptist Church. He was ordained as a deacon at Fellowship Baptist Church in 1987. He married Betty Jean Turner in 1948 at Friona. They celebrated their 50th anniversary January 15. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Jerry Dean Coker of Amarillo, Bob Wade Coker of Plano and Phil Coker of Hereford; a daughter, Lora Hanson of Amarillo; his mother, Ina Coker of Friona; a brother, Floyd Coker of Hereford; a sister, Aline Turner of Wheeler; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Wilford Carl Beene Wilford Carl "W.C." Beene, 78, of Amarillo, died Saturday, March 14, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Ivy Chapel, 2820 Virginia Circle, with the Rev. Rob Lackey, director of pastoral care at Park Central, officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Roby Cemetery. Mr. Beene was born in Fisher County. He was a descendant of families that lived in Texas when it was a republic. He graduated from Roby High School and later attended Texas Technological College. Mr. Beene was a Army veteran of World War II. He served with Company I 361st Infantry in the Algeria-French Moroccan campaign, Tunisian campaign, Sicilian campaign, Rome-Armo campaign and Po Valley campaign for a total of 29 months of overseas service. He received five overseas bars. His citations included the European African and Middle Eastern Theater Medal with a Silver Star. Mr. Beene lived in Lubbock for 11 years then moved to Deaf Smith County in 1957. He retired in 1984 from the Postal Service in Hereford. He moved to Amarillo in 1987. He was a former member of Summerfield Baptist Church and First Baptist Church in Hereford. Survivors include four daughters, Cynthia Beene Summers and Christie Beene Culp, both of Amarillo, Elise Beene Klussmann of Waco, and Beverly Beene Haliburton of Cuero; three sons, Stephen Carl Beene of Dallas, Robert Beene of Charlotte, N.C., and James Beene of Austin; a brother, Thomas H. Beene; four sisters, Avinelle Humphries, Helyn Rinks, Verna Dene Sansing and Louise Kerby; and eight grandchildren. Bob Davee Bob Davee, 66, of Tascosa Hills, died Saturday, March 14, 1998. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Sherman Eastland, chaplain of Northwest Texas Healthcare Systems, officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Davee was born in Hobbs, N.M. He moved to Amarillo in 1971 from San Angelo. From 1950 until 1959, he served in the Army National Guard. He was employed as a salesman for Western Merchandisers for 30 years. He married Mary Gariepy in 1953 at Odessa. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Doreen Groom and Dawn Johnson, both of Amarillo; two sons, Donald Davee and David Davee, both of Amarillo; a brother, Chase Meadows of Round Rock; and eight grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today in Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Stinnett. Mrs. Davis was born in Tokyo, Japan. She became a United States citizen in 1967. She was a longtime resident of Lawton, Okla., and moved to Canyon in 1997. She was a homemaker and member of the 40/8 American Legion Voiture Locale 616 in Lawton, Okla. She married Joe K. Davis in 1955 at Tokyo. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tomiko. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Brenda Brock of Canyon and Glenda Davis of Houston; two sisters, Yaeko Kobayashi and Makiko Nishimura, both of Tokyo; five grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Mr. Schlehofer was born in Beaver, where he attended school. He married Darlene Reed at Beaver. They later divorced. Survivors include twin sons, Tracy Schlehofer of Beaver and Stacy Schlehofer of Shamrock, Texas; a daughter, Tina Show of Beaver; a brother, Johnnie Schlehofer of Beaver; a sister, Elnor Clark of Elmwood; and nine grandchildren. Fern Berneice Coleman BEAVER, Okla. - Fern Berneice Coleman, 81, died Saturday, March 14, 1998. Mrs. Coleman was born in Ford, Kan. She was a past member of New Hope Friendly Neighbors Club. After graduating from school, she married Marvin Coleman in 1935 at Beaver. She received her bachelor of arts degree from East New Mexico University in 1956. She taught school in Bonney, Ranchvale, Lakewood, Rogers, Monument, Jal and Hobbs before retiring in 1969. Mrs. Mills was a member of First United Methodist Church. She also was a 50 year member of Order of Eastern Star, Bethany Chapter No. 56. She married Charles I. Mills in 1925 at Gomez. He died in 1997. Survivors include a daughter, Margie L. Lancaster of Clovis; a son, Ladd L. Mills of Littleton, Colo.; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
