He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Executive Club and the Masonic Lodge. He married Jeanne Brinkman in 1935 at Amarillo. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Janice Poirot of Amarillo; a sister, Lizze Mae Ferrell of Goodland; three grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Henry B. Mr. Walton was born in Amarillo and had been a lifetime Amarillo resident. He served with the Army Medical Corps during the period between World War II and the Korean War. Mr. Walton was a member of the American Legion and the Moose Lodge in Cottonwood, Ariz. He was Baptist. He married Margaret Kershman in 1946 at Aurora, Colo. Area Joyce Dean Smith Miller PAMPA - Joyce Dean Smith Miller, 71, of Woodward, Okla., a former longtime Pampa resident, died Tuesday, April 14, 1998. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Miller was born in Carnegie, Okla. She married Homer C. Miller in 1944 at Carnegie. They moved to Pampa in 1948. Mr. Miller died in 1994. Mrs. Miller worked as a payroll clerk for Cabot Corp. and IRI for 24 years before retiring in 1982. She moved to Woodward in 1997. Survivors include a son, Ken Miller of Woodward; a sister, Helen Ledford of Yukon, Okla.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Johnny Robertson, pastor of First Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Johnson Funeral Home. Mr. Richardson was born in Tell and lived in Burkburnett for 33 years. He moved to Childress in December. He was a heavy equipment operator. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Neda, in 1960; his second wife, Nettie, in 1993; and by a daughter, Loly May Thomas, in 1973. Survivors include a sister, Ila O'Daniel of Pharr; a brother, Sid Richardson of Childress; a granddaughter; and a greatgrandchild. George William Eller PANHANDLE - George William Eller, 65, died Wednesday, April 15, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Panhandle Church of Christ with Ernie Bishop, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Panhandle Cemetery by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors. Mr. Eller was born in White Deer. He married Lottie Lee Kreis in 1951. They moved to Panhandle in 1960. Mr. Eller farmed and raised cattle. He also was an entrepreneur and a licensed real estate agent. In 1980, he was appointed by President Ronald Reagan to represent the ASCS as a state committee member. Mr. Eller served in this capacity for four years. He was a member of the Panhandle Church of Christ and served as a Sunday school teacher for many years. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Georganna Eller of Albuquerque, N.M.; a son, Gary Eller of Panhandle; two brothers, Dr. Ray Eller of Canyon and Dr. Roy Eller of Stephenville; a half sister, Nelda Eller Priba of Liberal, Kan.; and six grandchildren. She had lived in the Potter House in Amarillo for about two years. She was a homemaker. She married Charles Louis Meyers in 1927 at Oakland, Calif. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Hutchinson was born in Memphis and was a longtime resident of Denver. She retired as a clerk with Denver General Hospital. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 123 in Denver. She had lived in Amarillo for 10 years. She was Methodist. She married Jack Hutchinson in 1944 at Memphis. He died in 1987. Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home. Mrs. Lawrence was born in Tolar, Hood County, Texas, and moved to Clovis in 1918. She worked in the retail clothing business in many different department stores, the last being the Blue Room. She was a Methodist and a member of Keystone Chapter No. 27 of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Daughters of the Nile. She also had been a Rainbow Adviser for Assembly 8. She married C.D. Lawrence in 1920 at Clovis. He preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by a son, Gene. Oklahoma Ollie Mae Campbell BOISE CITY, Okla. - Ollie Mae Campbell, 86, died Wednesday, April 15, 1998. Mrs. Campbell was born in Cimarron County. She was raised on the family farm around Boise City. She graduated from high school at Boise City in 1932. She was a housekeeper for several years in Perryton, Texas, Borger, Texas, and Clayton, N.M. In 1936, she married William Carl Campbell. They returned to Boise City in 1944. While living in Boise City, Mrs. Campbell was a waitress. She did volunteer work at the Veterans' Hospital while they lived in Fort Defiance, Ariz. They moved to Grand Junction, Colo., where she lived until her husband's death. Survivors include a brother, Lawrence Powers of Denver; and a sister, Pearl Lee Turpin of Denver.
