Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Four Square Gospel Church with the Rev. Merle Davis officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton. Mrs. Graves was born in Beaver County, Oklahoma, and had been a lifetime resident of the area. She was employed as a janitor for Perryton schools for many years. She was a member of Four Square Gospel Church. She married O.P. "Hap" Graves in 1936 at Spearman. He died in 1996. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Wanna Hall, in 1968. Survivors include a daughter, Billie Redman of Post; a sister, Maxine Corbin of Denver; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to Four Square Gospel Church, 817 S. Colgate, Perryton, TX 79070. Evelyn Fields WELLINGTON - Evelyn Fields, 49, died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1998. Graveside services will be at 7:30 a.m. today in North Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Tom Lewis, pastor of Fundamental Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Adams Funeral Home. Ms. Fields was born and raised in Wellington where she attended school. She was a homemaker and owned a bedroom and drapery shop. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church. She married Lenord Paul Boyce in 1965 then later married Randall Johnson for a year. In 1980, she married Roger Dale Browning. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Carol, in 1969. Survivors include a son, Shane Boyce of Norman, Okla.; a daughter, Mary Ann Ward of Vernon; a sister, Neva Jeffery of Wellington; two brothers, A.L. Fields of Texas and James D. Fields of Iowa Park; and seven grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to Wellington Cemetery Association or Faith Baptist Church. Doraeen Owen WHEELER - Doraeen Owen, 83, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1998. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Wheeler Cemetery with Bill Morrison, minister of the Wheeler Church of Christ, officiating. Arrangements are by Wright Funeral Home. Mrs. Owen was born in Texhoma, Okla., and moved to Wheeler in 1933. She graduated from Wheeler High School in 1934. A homemaker, she was a member of the Wednesday Study Club, Wheeler Church of Christ and a volunteer at the Wheeler Care Center. She married T.W. "Bill" Owen in 1935 at Wheeler. He died in May. Survivors include a daughter, Billie Jones of McKinney; two sons, Burley Owen of Amarillo and Ray Owen of Round Rock; a brother, Tom Wood of Buda; nine grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren. Hazel Bagwell DIMMITT - Hazel Bagwell, 86, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First Baptist Church of Dimmitt with the Rev. Howard Rhodes, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Castro Memorial Gardens by Foskey-Lilley-McGill Funeral Home. Mrs. Bagwell was born in Johnstown, Colo. She moved to Dimmitt in 1933 from Hereford. For many years, she was the junior girls' Sunday school teacher at First Baptist Church where she was an active member. She also was a member of the Bethel Home Demonstration Club and the Dimmitt Dinner Club. She married Ivor Bagwell in 1933 at Hereford. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Nelda Jean Fallwell of Richardson; a son, Milton Bagwell of Dimmitt; a sister, Nell Bencoe of Albuquerque, N.M.; eight grandchildren; and 12 greatgrandchildren. Roy Wygal CHILDRESS - Roy Wygal, 90, died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Ivan Allen, retired Methodist minister, officiating. Burial will be in Tell Cemetery by Johnson Funeral Home of Childress. Mr. Wygal was a farmer who worked for the Farm Bureau at one time and owned Roy Wygal Insurance Agency. A member of Tell Methodist Church, he was active in the Tell community where he served as Childress county commissioner Tell precinct, Tell school bus driver and as volunteer at the annual Tell reunion. He married Hazel in 1941 at Hollis, Okla. She preceded him in death. He is survived by two sisters, Joyce Mosely of Childress and Oleta Dezonia of Holly Hill, Fla. Prilino Briseno PLAINVIEW - Prilino "Chano" Briseno, 77, died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1998. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Glen Rosendale of Ralls officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home. Mr. Briseno was born in Pleasanton and moved to Hale Center in 1947. He was a World War II veteran. For 31 years, he was employed by Santa Fe Railroad where he was recognized for 30 years of accident-free employment. Survivors include three daughters, Isabel Almendarez of Plainview and Alvina Flores and Trine Renteria, both of Amarillo; two sons, Mike Briseno of Amarillo and Tony Briseno of Plainview; three brothers, Timoteo Briseno and Jose Briseno, both of Three Rivers, and Nicolas Briseno of Pasadena; and a sister, Belia Flores of Hale Center. Cruz Garcia Reyes PLAINVIEW - Cruz Garcia Reyes, 65, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1998. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Plainview Cemetery with the Rev. Elbert A. Fadallan of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Plainview officiating. Arrangements are by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home. Ms. Reyes was born in Edinburg and moved to Plainview in 1990. She was a homemaker and farm laborer. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She is survived by a special friend, Juanita Pelan of Plainview. Charlotte Seibel BOOKER - Charlotte "Lottie" Seibel, 90, a former Booker resident, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1998, in Bethany, Okla. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Heart Cemetery in Booker with the Rev. Monte Kreis officiating. Arrangements are by Good Samaritan Funeral Service of Booker. Mrs. Seibel was born in Fairview, Okla., and grew up in Booker. She married George K. Seibel in 1925. They resided in Dalhart then moved to a farm near Booker. In the 1950s and 1960s, they lived in Perryton where she operated the Seibel Truck Stop. The Seibels then made their home in Booker. Mrs. Seibel was a member of the United Methodist Church in Booker. She also was a member of the Homemakers and Garden clubs. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1980 and by a son, Carl, and two daughters, Luella Mowels and Dorothy Case. Survivors include a son, Leroy Seibel of Oklahoma City; a brother, Johnny Buxmon of Texas City, Colo.; a sister, Sophie Born of Follett; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and four greatgreat-grandchildren. Austin G. Caldwell MOBEETIE - Austin G. Caldwell, 87, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1998. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Mobeetie Cemetery with the Rev. Johnny Crawford of Mobeetie officiating. Arrangements are by Wright Funeral Home of Wheeler. Mr. Caldwell was born in Canadian and moved to Mobeetie in 1940. He was employed by the Mobeetie Grocery Store, the First State Bank and the Eldorado Gas Co. From 1943 until his retirement in 1976, he worked for Public Service Co. Mr. Caldwell owned the Mobeetie Water Works Company. He was on the board of directors at First State Bank, a member of the Wheeler County School Board and member and past president of Mobeetie Independent School District Board of Trustees. He was a member of the Mobeetie Lions Club, the Masonic Lodge since 1944 and the First Baptist Church. He married Bernice Craig in 1958 at Arnett, Okla. She died in 1989. Survivors include a son, Geoffrey Caldwell of Amarillo; a daughter, Beverly Godwin of Amarillo; a brother, Jim Bill Caldwell of Dallas; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to the scholarship fund at the Fort Elliott School. Amarillo Ruby Thompson Cook Ruby Thompson Cook, 95, of Amarillo, died Monday, Sept. 14, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St., with Dr. Chester O'Brien of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery in Canyon. Mrs. Cook was born in Woodward, Okla., and spent her early years in Vega and Memphis. She attended West Texas Teachers College in Canyon and moved to Amarillo 65 years ago. A homemaker, Mrs. Cook was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Amarillo. She was a member of Panhandle Pen Women's Writers Club and Amarillo Senior Citizens Association. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Cook, in 1966. Survivors include a daughter, Sunita Michael of Amarillo; a son, Richard Cook of Amarillo; six grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; and three great-greatgrandchildren. Betty Green Betty Green, 72, of Casper, Wyo., and a former Amarillo resident, died Sunday, Sept. 13, 1998. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Llano Cemetery with the Rev. Shad Rue, retired Baptist minister, officiating. Local arrangements are by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street. Other arrangements are by Bustard Funeral Home in Casper. Mrs. Green was born, raised and received her education in Bloomington, Ind. She married Dwain D. Green in 1944 at Sherman and later moved to Amarillo. In 1977, she moved to Golden, Colo., then moved to Casper in 1998. She was employed as a meat cutter for Piggly Wiggly and United supermarkets. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1975 and by two sons, Steve Green, and Doug Green. Survivors include a son, Randy D. Green of Arvada, Colo.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Ida Stratton Ida Stratton, 99, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1998. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Memorial Park Funeral Home, Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40 with Paul Sneed of Central Church of Christ officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Plainview Memorial Cemetery in Plainview. Mrs. Stratton was born in Brown County and moved to Amarillo in 1967 from Plainview. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Stratton, in 1960, a son, James Munselle, in 1994 and a daughter, Modena Pounds, in 1997. Survivors include two sons, Lee Munselle of Wetumka, Okla., and John A. Munselle of Garland; two daughters, Irene Taylor of Amarillo and Joyce Reece of Chandler, Ariz.; 24 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-greatgrandchildren. The family requests memorials be to Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice and Life Enrichment Center. Elsewhere Kenneth Ellis LUBBOCK - Kenneth Ellis, 80, died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1998. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Resthaven Memorial Park with the Rev. Berry Tilley, pastor of Family Cornerstone Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Resthaven Funeral Home. Mr. Ellis was born in Wichita County. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. Since 1947, he had lived in Lubbock where he was self-employed as a paint contractor. He was a member of Cornerstone Assembly of God Church. He married Lena Hudson in 1939 at Wichita Falls. Survivors include his wife; a son, Clifford Ellis of Claude; three brothers, Jackie Ellis and Billy Glen Ellis, both of Bowie, and Tom Ellis of California; a sister, Gerane Russell of Odessa; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch. New Mexico Eusebio Abeyta CLAYTON, N.M. - Eusebio Abeyta, 67, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 1998. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today and funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton with the Rev. George Silva, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton. Mr. Abeyta was born in Moses. From 1953 until 1961, he served in the Army. He worked as a farmer and rancher in Wyoming for many years then returned to Clayton in 1995. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Survivors include two daughters, Annie May Mejia of Turpin, Okla., and Estella Sandoval of Guymon, Okla.; two sons, Sam Abeyta and Ermie Abeyta, both of Guymon; a sister, Dolores Martinez of Santa Fe; a brother, John Abeyta of Clayton; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
