Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40. Mrs. Moore was born in Ardmore, Okla., and was a longtime resident of San Diego. She was a Catholic. Survivors include a son, Don A. Miller Sr. of Amarillo; a sister, Mary Walter of Amarillo; six grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. Mary Nipper Mary Nipper, 58, of Amarillo, died Monday, July 20, 1998. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors, Pioneer Chapel, 2615 Paramount Blvd., with Wayne Roy, a family member, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Nipper was born in Amarillo where she was a lifelong resident. She was a 1957 graduate of Amarillo High School. She had been employed in the oil and gas industry for Tom Marsh. She retired in 1987 as the vice-president of his oil and gas division. After her retirement, Mrs. Nipper owned an international business, which she operated out of her home. She was involved in computer site design and graphics animation for the World Wide Web. Mrs. Nipper was named to the Who's Who of American Business Women. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She married Fred Nipper in 1958 at Amarillo. She was preceded in death by a son, Steven Wayne Nipper, in 1962. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Nancy Calcote of Amarillo; a son, Larry Nipper of Amarillo; a sister, Fran Beasley of Amarillo; and five grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to The Bridge-Children's Advocacy Center, 1419 S. Polk, Amarillo, Texas, 79101. Vincente Lopez Vincente Lopez, 23, of Amarillo, died Monday, July 20, 1998. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. in Llano East Cemetery with the Rev. Hector Madrigal of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage. Mr. Lopez was born in Amarillo and attended high school in Hereford. He was an employed by Jan Werner Construction and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He married Constatine Hudson on July 18 at Amarillo. Survivors include his wife; a stepdaughter, Lyndi Martinez of the home; a stepson, Johnathon Hudson of the home; two sisters, Rosa Lopez of Amarillo and Mary Ann Lopez of Tulsa; a stepsister, Elsa Guillean of Abilene; two brothers, Israel Lopez of Amarillo and Joe Lopez of Hereford; and his stepfather, Domingo Mendoza of Abilene. Cremation and arrangements are by N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd. Mrs. Morris was born in Pittsburg, Kan. She moved to Arizona in 1984 from Amarillo. She was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church. Mrs. Morris was a member and past president of the Amarillo Music Teachers Association from 1949 until 1952. In 1966, she was named Teacher of the Year by the Texas Music Teachers Association of which she also was a past president. She was named Amarillo Music Teacher of the Year in 1979 and was a member of National Music Teachers Association. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Morris, in 1976, and a son, Richard D. Morris, in 1992. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn E. Wiseman of Pine, Ariz.
