Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Gililland-Watson Funeral Home Rose Chapel with Randy Byrd and Dave Thomas, both of the Hereford Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery. Mr. Stovall was born in Bethel, Okla. He attended Hereford High School and served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a mechanic and a Baptist. He married Sue Enders in 1976 at Las Vegas. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Joe Stovall and Josh Stovall, both of Las Vegas; his parents, Calvin and Viola Stovall of Hereford; two sisters, Darlene Stovall of Hereford and Elaine Parker of New Camey; and two brothers, Melvin Stovall of Fritch and Wayne Stovall of Amarillo. The family will be at 208 Ave. C in Hereford. Wayne C. Eubank CLAUDE - Wayne C. Eubank, 90, died Thursday, June 18, 1998, at Albuquerque, N.M. Services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday in Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors Chapel, 3113 Carlisle N.E., at Albuquerque. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Claude Cemetery. Mr. Eubank was born in Claude. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Twitty in 1987. Survivors include a brother-in-law, Francis Twitty of Orlando, Fla.; and a sister-in-law, Jeanette Twitty of Lake Placid, Fla. Eva Lee Stone CLAUDE - Eva Lee Stone, 76, of Tyler, a former Claude resident, died Friday, June 19, 1998, at Claude. Services and burial were at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Tyler. Local arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, Armstrong Chapel, Claude. Mrs. Stone was born in Anson. She attended Bible Church and was a collector for retail merchants. Survivors include two sons, Ronald Wayne Lowry of Grand Prairie and Stanley Vance Lowry of Gilmer; two daughters, Ana L. Green of Claude and Le D. Reid of Tyler; two sisters, Dochia Nix of Georgetown and Norma Staples of Paris, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren. Herman Ray Cates LEFORS - Herman Ray Cates, 81, died Sunday, June 21, 1998. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lewis Ellis, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Heights Cemetery by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mr. Cates was born in Hunt County and had lived in Lefors since 1931. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps during World War II and also was a military policeman that served all branches of the armed services. He had been a pumper for Texaco for 38 years. Mr. Cates served on the Lefors City Council and was a member of the Lefors Lions Club and Optimist Club. He was a Baptist. He married Lavern Robertson in 1946 at Mangum, Okla. Survivors include his wife; a son, Phil Cates of Dripping Springs; two sisters, his twin, Opal Presley and Corean Roberts, both of Lefors; and two grandsons. The family requests memorials be to First Baptist Church. Luis Orozco MULESHOE - Luis Orozco, 19, died Sunday, June 21, 1998, Amherst. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Sunday in Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Sieniga Ortiz Cemetery at Chihauhau, Chihauhau, Mexico. Mr. Orozco was born in Chihauhau and moved to Muleshoe in 1996 from Chihauhau. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Muleshoe and worked for TJ's Dairy in Amherst. Survivors include his parents, Juan Orozco and Lupe Venzor, both of Chihauhau; a sister, Victoria Quintana of El Paso; and five brothers, Juan Orozco, Ramon Orozco, Miguel Orozco, Jaime Orozco and Jesus Orozco, all of Chihauhau. Amarillo Ruby Anthony Ruby Anthony, 93, of Amarillo, died Saturday, June 20, 1998, in Houston. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Anthony was born in Bynum and moved to Amarillo in 1944. She taught school at Margaret Wills Elementary School, retiring in 1968. She had been a member of First Baptist Church for 54 years. She married S.G. Anthony in 1929 at Covington. He died in 1968. Survivors include a daughter, Annette Patterson of Plano; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Oklahoma Nellie Richardson SEMINOLE, Okla. - Nellie Richardson, 77, died Saturday, June 20, 1998, at Perryton, Texas. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Ochiltree County Cemetery at Perryton with the Rev. John Durham officiating. Arrangements are by Good Samaritan Funeral Services of Booker. Mrs. Richardson was born in Burdett, Kan., and was raised in Missouri and California. She moved to Oklahoma in 1967. She married C.G. Richardson in 1976. They made their home in Seminole. He died in 1994. She moved to Perryton a year ago. Survivors include a daughter, Yevonne Drake of Perryton; a son, Joseph D. Quick of Sanger, Calif.; a brother, Junior Dean Pierce of Newport, Wash.; a sister, Ida Marie Peterson of Hesperia, Calif.; and two grandchildren. Velma Irene King GUYMON, Okla. - Velma Irene Brewer King, 82, died Sunday, June 21, 1998, at Stratford, Texas. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Grace Southern Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Taylor and the Rev. Odie Nunley officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery by Henson-Novak Funeral Directors. Mrs. King was born in Wellington, Texas. She married Lon Ray King in 1932 at Portales, N.M. They made their home in Wellington for several years before moving to Pampa, Texas. They moved to Guymon in 1962. She worked as a seamstress for the Vogue Dress Shop at Guymon. She had been a member of the Mothers & Daughters Home Demonstration Club, the Jolly Stitchers Club and the Demolay Mothers Club. Mrs. King also was a member of Grace Southern Baptist Church where she had been a Sunday school teacher and Girl's in Action leader for many years. Her husband died in 1990 after 58 years of marriage. She also was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Joe King in 1979. Survivors include a daughter, Rae Nell Yates of Guymon; a son, Douglas Alan King of Guymon; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Elsewhere George Richards SAN ANTONIO - George "Arch" Richards, 92, a former longtime Amarillo resident, died Saturday, June 20, 1998. Cremation was in San Antonio by Mission-Alamo Inc., Funeral Chapels & Cemeteries. Mr. Richards had worked for Santa Fe Railway in Amarillo for 42 years before retiring in 1965. In 1989, after 83 years as a resident of Amarillo, he moved to a retirement center in San Antonio. Survivors include a brother, Jack Richards of San Antonio. Mildred Blake HAZEL GREEN, Ala. - Mildred Blake, 88, a former Pampa, Texas, resident, died Friday, June 19, 1998. Private graveside services will be in Fairview Cemetery at Pampa by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mrs. Blake was born in Sunshine Hill, Texas. She had been a bookkeeper at Pampa Hardware at Pampa. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Pampa and was a founding member of the Business and Professional Women's Club of Pampa. Her husband, J.D. Blake, died in 1988. Survivors include three nieces, Mariola Duvall Jernigan of Hazel Green, Tomasene Duvall Bishop of Phoenix, Ariz., and Lucille Duvall Creath of Houston, Texas; and a nephew, Donald Jack Overall of Salt Lake City.
