Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Brown Funeral Directors Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery. Mr. Mosley was born in Eastland County and had lived in Borger for 28 years. He was a retired teacher at Borger High School and Frank Phillips College. He was a Baptist. He married Dorothy Reynolds in 1942 in Greggton. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jon Mosley and Clifford J. Mosley Jr., both of Borger; two daughters, Sylvia DeBaere of Amarillo and Jane Keranen of Borger; and four grandchildren. Eugene Wrencher MEMPHIS - Eugene Wrencher, 51, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 1998. Services will be at a later date with full military honors in Louisville, Ky. Burial will be in Lebanon Military Cemetery in Louisville. Local arrangements are by Memphis Funeral Home. Mr. Wrencher was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. From 1968 until 1971, he served in the 82nd Airborne in the military police as a policeman and detective. Mr. Wrencher was with the Hall County Sheriff's department for a time. He was then employed as plant supervisor for American Standards. He married Mona Jones in 1974 at Louisville. Survivors include his wife; his mother, Sarah Wrencher of Pratsville, Ala.; four brothers, Clarence Wrencher, Larry Wrencher and Keith Wrencher, all of Birmingham, Ala., and Robert Wrencher of California; and a sister, Tondalaire Jones of Pennsylvania. The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity. Loyd Rathbone DALHART - Loyd Rathbone, 85, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 1998. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today in Hass Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Wood, First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Rathbone was born in Tryon, Okla. He was a veteran of World War II who moved to Dalhart in 1948 with his first wife, May Cantrell. She died in 1963. For 27 years, Mr. Rathbone was employed as a heavy equipment operator for the city of Dalhart. He retired in 1975, then worked for Coronado Feeders until 1986. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He married Dorothy Elizabeth Moore in 1963. Survivors include his wife; a stepdaughter, Donna Beth Stefanek of Littleton, Colo.; a sister, Mildred Nettles of Rio Vista, Calif.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Santiago Carrasco TULIA - Santiago "Jimmy" Carrasco, 51, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 1998. Prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in Wallace Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday in Church of the Holy Spirit of Tulia with the Rev. John Salazar of the church officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. Mr. Carrasco was born and raised in Ojinaga, Mexico, where he attended schools. In 1967, he moved to Tulia. He was employed by Swisher Feed Yard for 19 years. At the time of his death, Mr. Carrasco was employed by Bell Farms in Las Animas, Colo., as a breeding coordinator. He was a member of Church of the Holy Spirit. He married Angelica Berlanga in 1976 at Tulia. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Alma Tienda of Midland, Gloria Carrasco of Tulia and Nancy Carrasco of Houston; three sons, Jimmy Carrasco Jr., of Levelland, Tony Carrasco of Plainview and Santiago Carrasco Jr., of Tulia; three stepdaughters, Linda Cook of Bedford, Grace Frausto of Las Animas and Jo Ann Garza of Tulia; a stepson, Homer Garza Jr. of Las Animas; his father, Ysidro Carrasco of Tulia; five brothers; and 12 grandchildren. Amarillo Jordan Longacre Cline Jordan Longacre Cline, 18, a former Amarillo resident, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 1998, in Austin. Services will be at 1 p.m. today in First Presbyterian Church in Amarillo with Dr. Murray Gossett officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Miss Cline was born in Houston. She attended Cherry Creek High School at Denver, Tascosa High School in Amarillo and graduated from Highland Park High School in Dallas in May. She had just completed summer school at the University of Texas, majoring in liberal arts with an emphasis on visual arts. Miss Cline was a member of St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church of Dallas. She was an All American Scholar and a Texas Visual Artist Association Finalist. Her artwork was included in Plaza of Americas Juried Exhibit. A member of Young Life, Miss Cline had been a Symphony Belle for the Amarillo Symphony in February and was presented at the Waco Cotton Palace Pageant in April. She had been a baby sitter and a volunteer at Operation Kindness Animal Shelter in the spring. Survivors include her mother, Mrs. William (Mellie) Whittenburg Cline of Dallas; two sisters, Courtney Egerton Cline and Kendall Whittenburg Cline, both of Dallas; and grandparents, Mrs. Dean McNaughton and Mr. and Mrs. R.C. "Dick" Cline, all of Amarillo. Patricia Vandeventer Patricia Vandeventer, 66, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 1998. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 1010 W. Ninth, with Glendell Smith officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Vandeventer was born in El Dorado, Kan., and moved to Amarillo in 1996 from Indiana. She was a homemaker and a member of Temple Baptist Church. She married Howard Vandeventer in 1949 in Mount Home, Ark. Survivors include four daughters, Carolyn Cromer of Amarillo, Connie Randle of Cushing, Okla., Terry Larson of Derry, Kan., and Stacy Douglas of New Palestine, Ind.; a brother, Emmert Tidball of Mesa, Ariz.; two sisters, Aldena Zimmerman of Wichita, Kan., and Beulah Thompson of Hanford, Calif.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The body will be available for viewing from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. today in Wheeler Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Ross Dunn and the Rev. Donna Kay Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Inez Cemetery. Mr. Parrish was born in Santa Paula, Calif., and moved to Missouri when he was a baby. In 1908, his father homsteaded in Inez. He attended school in Inez and also in the Long's community. For several years, Mr. Parrish farmed and worked on hay and broom corn harvests. In 1930, he married Aline in Rogers. They continued to farm and raise livestock until around 1988. Mr. Parrish moved to Elida after his wife's death in 1992. For the past year and a half, he had lived in Portales. He attended a Methodist church most of his life. He also was preceded in death by a son, William Lawrence Parrish in 1932. Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Ridgley of Portales and Glenda Anthony of Elida; nine grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Elsewhere Billy Whitten LUBBOCK - Billy Whitten, 70, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 1998. Services will be at 3 p.m. today in Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park. Mr. Whitten was born in Shamrock and moved to Lubbock from Hobbs, N.M., in 1993. He was an electrical engineer and a Baptist. He married Margaret Kilman in 1948 at Shamrock. She died in 1992. Survivors include two daughters, Rhonda Wheeler of Lubbock and Janet Pickering of Dallas; a sister, Irene Ward of Berryville, Ark.; a brother, Jack Whitten of Borger; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to the local cancer society. Dorothy Louise Shaw Blalock VERNON - Dorothy Louise Shaw Blalock, 81, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 1998. Services will be at 3 p.m. today in Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel of Vernon with the Rev. Joe Strange and the Rev. Edgar Jones officiating. A second service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday in Wright City Baptist Church in Wright City with the Rev. Richard Boone officiating. Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery. Mrs. Blalock was born in East Texas and lived in South Texas, Perryton and Snyder. She retired in Wright City as a hair dresser and florist. She was a member of Lockett Baptist Church of Lockett. In 1936, she married Garland Shaw at Jacksonville. He died in 1991. She moved to Vernon in 1994 when she married Thurman Blalock. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Donna Siebert of Dalhart; two sons, Durwood Shaw of Midland and Jerry Shaw of Irving; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Floyd Finch CEE VEE - Floyd Finch, 92, died Thursday, Oct. 22, 1998. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Cee Vee Cemetery with the Rev. Jeff Utter, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Paducah, officiating. Arrangements are by Seigler Funeral Home of Paducah. Mr. Finch was born in Buck Creek community in Cottle County. He was a lifelong resident of the Cottle County area. He retired as a farmer and rancher who had worked as a cowboy for the Matador and Swenson ranches. He was a member of the Methodist Church. He married Reba Evans in 1968 at Paducah. His first marriage was to Lena Goodgame in 1932 at Hollis, Okla. She preceded him in death in 1966. Survivors include his wife; two sons, J. Don Finch of Roaring Springs and Dolan Finch of Electra; a sister, Ethel Rogers of Amarillo; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
