Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church by the Rev. Carlos Chavez. Burial will be in Mission Garden of Memories by Muffley Funeral Home. Mr. Kottkamp was born in Muskogee, Okla. He worked in construction. He was Catholic. Survivors include his mother, Carmaine Kottkamp of Clovis; two brothers, Loki Kottkamp of Albuquerque and Sheen Kottkamp of Amarillo; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Kottkamp of Chicago. Vernon Aucutt Sr. CLOVIS, N.M. - Vernon Aucutt Sr., 87, died Wednesday, April 22, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Steed-Todd Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Boydstun officiating. Burial will be in Mission Garden of Memories. Mr. Aucutt was born in Ira, Texas, and moved to the Clovis area in 1927. He farmed the family homestead from 1945 until his death. He was a member of Curry County 42 League and a former member of the ENMR board. He married Christine Nichols in 1933 at Fort Sumner. She died in 1970. Survivors include a son, Vernon Aucutt Jr. of Clovis; a sister, Berta Maw Geer of Irving, Texas; a brother, Aldon Aucutt of Mobile, Ala.; and two granddaughters. Stella Velma Barrow CLOVIS, N.M. - Stella Velma Hodges Barrow, 96, died Tuesday, April 21, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Steed-Todd Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Herbert Bergstrom officiating. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Barrow was born in Maud, Okla. She married Ralph Barrow in 1919 at Maud. In 1929, they moved to New Mexico, where they farmed and ranched in the Ranchvale community. They moved to Clovis in 1966. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, John Barrow; and a daughter, Marie Foulkes. Survivors include her children, Burnis Barrow of Ruidoso, Leo L. Barrow of Tucson Ariz., Janie Kirkpatrick of Austin, Texas, and Nina Barrow and Ben Barrow, both of Clovis; a sister, Ila Northam of Wichita Falls, Texas; a half brother, Jack Hodges of Brownfield, Texas; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to the Baptist Children's Home in Portales. Maggie Duran PORTALES, N.M. - Maggie Duran, 85, died Wednesday, April 22, 1998. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. today in Wheeler Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. James Fogg officiating. Burial will be in Portales Cemetery. Mrs. Duran was born in Watrus. She made her home in the Encino area until 1946, when she and her husband moved to Portales. For several years, she worked as a housekeeper at Eastern New Mexico University. She attended Spanish Baptist Church. She married E.S. Duran in 1934 at Encino. He died in 1972. Survivors include a son, Phillip Duran of Portales; three sisters, Antonia Villanueva and Maria Chavez, both of Portales, and Julia L. Jaramillo of Roswell; friends, the Nicolas Telles family; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Donal Anderson PORTALES, N.M. - Donal Anderson, 41, died Tuesday, April 21, 1998, in Albuquerque. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Portales Cemetery with Frank Poynor officiating. Arrangements are by Wheeler Mortuary of Portales Inc. Mr. Anderson was born in El Paso, Texas, and moved to Lubbock, Texas, when he was a child. He graduated from high school in Lubbock. He moved to Clovis around 1980 and had lived in Portales since about 1985. He was employed at Southwest Canners as a forklift operator. Mr. Anderson married Marilyn Cekander in 1992 at Floyd. Survivors include his wife; a son, Andy Archer of Portales; a stepson, Kai Jackson of the home; three stepdaughters, Tristan Rowe, Ashley Jackson and Kayla Jackson, all of the home; his mother and stepfather, Connie and Jasper King of San Antonio, Texas; his father, Donal Anderson Sr. of El Paso; a half brother, Jasper King Jr. of Cabott, Ark.; and two sisters, Darla Kay Carter of Draper, Va., and Donnalee Harris of Lubbock. Mrs. Sexton-Propst had been a sales tax auditor for Deloitte Touche for the past nine years. Survivors include her husband, Bob; her mother, Letha Wylie of Perryton; two daughters, Tonya Cotten of Colony and Sherri Jo Gamblin of Garland; two stepsons, Donald Propst of Phoenix and Joseph Propst of Cedar Hill; two sisters, Sheila Harris of Amarillo and Pam Vasquez of Mesquite; a brother, Joe Wylie Jr. of Lexington, Neb.; and three granddaughters; and several stepgrandchildren. "Snooks" Wyatt, 85, a former Memphis resident, died Thursday, April 23, 1998, in Denton. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Memphis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dean Lusby of the Pearl, Okla., Assembly of God officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Mr. Wyatt was born in Boisdare. He lived in Memphis from 1929 to 1997, when he moved to Denton. He served with the Army during World War II. He was wounded in France and received a Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. Mr. Wyatt was a farmer. Survivors include a sister, Margaret Wyatt of Denton; and Tom and Jean Wyatt of Oak Point. The family requests memorials be to a favorite charity. Visitation will be at the funeral home today from 5 to 7 p.m. Annie Martin WHEELER - Annie Martin, 93, died Wednesday, April 22, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Toby Henson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home. Mrs. Martin was born in Indian Territory and had been a longtime resident of Wheeler. She graduated from Wheeler High School. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. She married Cecil Otho Martin in 1927 at Wheeler. He died in 1973. She also was preceded in death by a son, James Earl Martin, on March 10. Survivors include a granddaughter, Beverley Ann Morris of Amarillo; two great-granddaughters; and three greatgreat-grandchildren. Jackie L. Moore DUMAS - Jackie L. Moore, 43, died Wednesday, April 22, 1998. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Aiken, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mr. Moore was born in Dumas and had been a lifetime Dumas resident. He was a 1973 graduate of Dumas High School. He was employed with the Dumas Independent School District. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Christine Moore of Dumas and Rita Moore of Stratford; his mother, Pauline "Polly" Moore of Dumas; a brother, Michael J. Alfredo Garcia EARTH - Alfredo Garcia, 89, died Wednesday, April 22, 1998. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today in St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Mr. Garcia was born in San Manuel. He moved to Earth from San Manuel in 1953. He was a farmer and a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. He married Beatrice Cano in 1933 at San Manuel. She died in 1985. Survivors include two sons, Domingo Garcia of Earth and Alfredo Garcia Jr. of Rolla, Kan.; a daughter, Juanita Garza of Hereford; three brothers, Alfonzo Balderas of Edinburg, Abel Balderas of San Manuel and Armando Salinas of Carrizo Springs; 28 grandchildren; 45 greatgrandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Hazel Callan PAMPA - Hazel Callan, 85, a former Pampa resident, died Wednesday, April 22, 1998, in Webster. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors Colonial Chapel with Dr. Derrell Monday, pastor of Central Baptist Church, and the Rev. M.B. Smith, retired Baptist minister, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Callan was born in Vernon. She graduated from Meridian High School in Meridian, Okla. She moved to Pampa in 1948 from Wheeler. She moved from Pampa to Webster in 1988. She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Webster. She was a former member of Central Baptist Church and the Rebekah Lodge, both in Pampa. She married Clayton Callan in 1925 at Erick, Okla. He died in 1974. Survivors include a daughter, LaVonda Chance of Webster; a son, John E. Callan of Aiken, S.C.; three sisters, Bonnie Anderson and Betty Marcia Sanders, both of Sayre, Okla., and Dean Witt of White Deer; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Jessie Patterson PAMPA - Jessie Patterson, 91, died Wednesday, April 22, 1998. Services will be Monday in Noble Chapel in Noble, Ill., by Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Noble. Local arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Patterson was born in Richland County, Ill. She was a homemaker and she worked in the International Shoe Factory in Olney, Ill., for 40 years. She was a member of First Christian Church of Noble. She married Earl Patterson in 1926 at Noble. He died in 1970. Survivors include a daughter, Louise Sissom of Pampa; and a grandson.
