Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Murray Gossett, associate minister, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Christina was born in Amarillo where she was a lifelong resident. She had attended Belmar Elementary School and was in the eighth grade at Crockett Middle School where she sang in the choir. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her parents, Brent Bralley of Amarillo and Kim Moore of Big Spring; a sister, Nicole Bralley of Big Spring; her grandparents, Joe Bob and Rue Bralley of Amarillo, Pat and Bob Campbell of Tempe, Ariz., and Judy and Les Hoyer of Rowlett; and great-grandmothers, Ilene Sheffield and Jerry Bralley, both of Amarillo. The family requests memorials in lieu of flowers be to the Children's Home, 3400 S. Bowie St., Amarillo, TX 79109. Vida Mae Coffin Vida Mae Coffin, 85, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 1998. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2820 Virginia Circle, with Don Woolsey, associate pastor of Grace Community Church, officiating. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday in Fairview Cemetery at Pampa. Mrs. Coffin was born in Pampa where she graduated from high school. She had lived in the Pampa and Perryton areas before moving to Amarillo in 1974. She was a member of Grace Community Church in Amarillo. She had been a Sunday school teacher for 32 years at First Baptist Church at Perryton and for 10 years at San Jacinto Baptist Church in Amarillo. She had been active in vacation bible school work for 30-plus years at Perryton. Mrs. Coffin sang in a church quartet and choir for several years. She was active in the Women's Missionary Union, having held all offices at the local and association level. She married Floyd Clifford Coffin in 1929 at Lipscomb. He died in 1990. Survivors include three daughters, Gloria Freeman and Carol Lewis, both of Amarillo and Joy Miller of Springfield, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren. Gonzales, 71, died Monday, Dec. 21, 1998. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church by the Rev. Tobin Hitt. Burial will be in Mission Garden of Memories by Steed-Todd Funeral Home. Mr. Gonzales was born in Pintada. He was an Army veteran and had worked as a mechanic for Santa Fe Railway. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He married Apolonia Lujan in 1947 at Pintada. He was preceded in death by his wife and by a son, Albert Don Gonzales, both in 1997. Survivors include five daughters, Frances Martinez, Minnie Perez, Delores Lopez, Lucy Saiz and Corine Gonzales, all of Clovis; a brother, Lupe Gonzales of Missouri; 29 grandchildren; and 55 greatgrandchildren. Hazel Louise Smith Morgan CLOVIS, N.M. - Hazel Louise Smith Morgan, 93, died Wednesday, Dec. 23. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Muffley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dick Ross officiating. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Mountain View Cemetery at Oregon City, Ore., with rites by the Ladies Auxiliary Waldo-Cauffield Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1324. Mrs. Morgan was born in Portland, Ore. She owned Morgan's Junior Boot Shop in Oregon City. In the late 1960s, she retired and moved to Bend, Ore. She moved to Albuquerque in 1988 and to Clovis in 1996. Mrs. Morgan was a lifetime member and past president of the Ladies Auxiliary Waldo-Cauffield VFW Post No. 1324. She was a Presbyterian. She married Lyle Morgan in 1927. He died in 1968. Survivors include a daughter, Lyn Henderson of Clovis; a son, Gary Morgan of Acton, Mass.; a sister, Vera Jackets of Lincoln City, Ore.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to the Salvation Army, or to the Lifesavor Food Bank. Oklahoma Juan Carlos Rios GUYMON, Okla. - Juan Carlos Rios, 30, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 1998. Vigil services will be at 7 p.m. Sunday in St. Peter's Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Peter's Catholic Church with Scott Adams officiating. Burial will be in Miguel Auza Cemetery by Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon. Mr. Rios was born in Miguel Auza Zac, Mexico. In 1994, he moved to Guymon from Los Angeles, Calif. He was employed by C.J. NutraCon, Inc. He married Margarita Martinez in 1988. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Brenda and Elizabeth, both of the home; a son, Juan Manuel of the home; his parents, Francisco and Maria Rios ; four sisters; and eight brothers. Elsewhere Bill Cypert GAINESVILLE - Bill Cypert, 65, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 1998. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with Dr. Bennie Slack of the church officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery by Clement-Keel Funeral Home of Gainesville. Mr. Cypert was born in Ardmore, Okla., and had been a resident of Gainesville for 42 years. The owner of Watts Brothers Pharmacy, he was a member of the American Pharmaceutical Association, the National Association of Retail Druggists, and the Cooke, Grayson and Fannin County Pharmaceutical Association. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Gainesville. Mr. Cypert was a former mayor and city councilman. He was a member of the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce where he was a past director, the Gainesville Industrial Foundation, the Development Authority and the Downtown Merchants Association. He served as district chairman of the National Federation of Independent Businessmen and was a charter member of the Gainesville Jaycees. He was a former president of Fairview Cemetery Association and a former member of Texas Regional Planning Commission. He married Connie Scott in 1956. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Greg Cypert of Hockley, and Chris Cypert of Gainesville; two daughters, Cindy Rowley of Amarillo and Teri Cypert of Pensacola, Fla.; a brother, Jack Cypert of Snyder; a sister, Novella Hollimon of Oklahoma City; and five grandchildren. Alberta Elizabeth Hilliard Nesthouse AUSTIN - Alberta Elizabeth Hilliard Nesthouse, 75, formerly of Amarillo, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1998. Mrs. Nesthouse was born in Colorado and lived most of her adult life in Amarillo. She moved to Austin in 1997. Survivors include her husband, Ed; a son, Al Nesthouse of Georgia; a daughter, Anita Nesthouse Moore of Austin; a sister, Ethel May Ault of California; three grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and five stepgreat-grandchildren. Area Trinidad Gomez Sr. HEREFORD - Trinidad Gomez Sr., 80, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 1998. Services will be at 1 p.m. today in St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Monsignor Orville Blum, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery by Gililland-Watson Funeral Home. Mr. Gomez was born in San Angelo and moved to Deaf Smith County in 1954. He worked in the furniture business in sales and delivery. He attended St. Anthony's Catholic Church. He married Betty Perez in 1942 at Ballinger. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Trinidad Gomez Jr., Harvey Gomez and Johnny Gomez, all of Amarillo; three daughters, Adela Tijerina of Clovis, N.M., and Delma Gomez and Emily Gomez, both of Lubbock; five sisters, Margaret Pena, Julie Mata, Florencia Montelongo, Olivia Menjores and Elvira Fuentes; 13 grandchildren; and 18 greatgrandchildren. The family will be at 206 S. Roosevelt in Hereford. Juanita Busby MULESHOE - Juanita Busby, 85, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 1998. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Muleshoe Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Brown of Trinity Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Ellis Funeral Home of Muleshoe. Mrs. Busby was born in Tolar and moved from Stephenville to Muleshoe in 1935. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church and Muleshoe Rebekah Lodge. She moved to Amarillo in 1987. She married James Clinton Busby in 1934. He died in 1989. Survivors include a daughter, Wanda Wilson of Amarillo; a sister, Christine Durant of Granbury; a brother, T.O. "Slim" Carter of Logan, N.M.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until noon Saturday at the funeral home. James Milton Nation Jr. PAMPA - James Milton "Jim" Nation Jr., 88, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 1998, Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Edwin Cooley, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mr. Nation was born in Erie, Kan., and was a graduate of Pittsburg State University. A veteran of the Army Air Corps, he served in World War II. He moved to Pampa in 1940. He co-operated Shamrock Products Co. until his retirement in 1976. Mr. Nation served as a board member of the Pampa Chamber of Commerce, the Industrial Foundation and the Kiwanis Club. He also served on the Pampa Country Club board, the City Commission, and the Pampa school board. He was a former officer and director of Security Federal Savings & Loan and served as mayor of Pampa from 1965 to 1969. He was a deacon and a member of First Presbyterian Church. He married Hazel Alexander in 1938. He was preceded in death by a daughter, LuRae Nation in 1968, and by his wife in 1994. Survivors include a son, Jim M. Nation III of Amarillo; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Hospice of the Panhandle, Box 2795, Pampa, TX 79066-2795. Hermila Paredes DUMAS - Hermila Paredes, 76, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 1998. Rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. today in Morrison Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. Richard Scully, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery. Mrs. Paredes was born in Sugar Land and moved to Dumas in 1958. She was a homemaker and member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Survivors include two sons, Gilbert Salas Santana of Borger and Armando Salas of Amarillo; a daughter, Susan Lopez of Dumas; her stepmother, Cruz Santana of Dumas; a half-brother, Johnny Santana of Dumas; three half-sisters, Amelia Grubbs of Houston and Lupida Calderon and Mercedes Rodriguez, both of Dumas; 13 grandchildren; and 10 greatgrandchildren. The family will be at 1224 S. Bliss in Dumas. Leona E. Fenimore BORGER - Leona E. Fenimore, 94, died Monday, Dec. 21, 1998. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Kale Funeral Home in Truro, Iowa, with the Rev. Joan White, pastor of First United Methodist Church in Peru, Iowa, officiating. Burial will be in Peru Cemetery. Local arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors. A native of Kansas, Mrs. Fenimore retired after 30 years as postal clerk in Peru. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She had lived in Borger for the past six years. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Bryan Fenimore, in 1996. Survivors include a son, Richard Fenimore of Novato, Calif.; a daughter, Dottie Mack of Borger; two sisters, Anna Beverlin of St. Mary's, Kan., and Mary Irene Fowler of Fort Orange, Fla.; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Joe Luckenbach SILVERTON - Joe Luckenbach, 63, died Monday, Dec. 21, 1998. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in First Methodist Church in Silverton with the Rev. Jay Stinson, the Rev. Edwin Norris and the Rev. Erwin Emmert officiating. Burial will be at 10:15 a.m. Monday in Houston National Cemetery by Myers-Long Funeral Directors. Mr. Luckenbach was born in Oden. He retired from the Marine Corps and served in Korea and Vietnam. He earned the Purple Heart and Distinguished Service Medal. Mr. Luckenbach was a member of the First Methodist Church of Silverton, Golden Spread Emmaus and Kiros prison ministry. He was a Gideon. He married Carolyn Montague in 1982 at Amarillo. Survivors include his wife; four sons, Mark Luckenbach of Parksley, Va., J.W. Luckenbach Jr. of Pettus, Myron Luckenbach of Round Rock and David Luckenbach of Stafford, Va.; two daughters, Virginia Devonshire of Newark, Del., and Cindy Parks of Farmville, N.C.; two stepsons, John Montague of Houston and Mike Montague of Amarillo; a stepdaughter, Carol Ann Turner of Flomot; a brother, Albert Luckenbach of Tuleta; two sisters, Audrey Humphries of Corpus Christi and Barbara Shephard of Port Aransas; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
