Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. Martin Pena officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home. Mrs. Ayala was born in Meadow and was raised in Plainview. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Survivors include two sons, Jesus Uvaldo Ayala of San Antonio and Adrian Ayala of Plainview; four brothers, Roy Gonzales and Tony Gonzales, both of San Antonio, and Armeldo Gonzales and Joe Gonzales, both of Plainview; and three sisters, Frances Jolomo and Simona Santellano, both of Cactus, and Rosa Gonzales of Plainview. Evelyn Iris Fraley BORGER - Evelyn Iris Fraley, 71, died Monday, June 22, 1998. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in The Garden of Good Shepherd in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors. Mrs. Fraley was born in Memphis. She moved to Borger 25 years ago from Irving. She retired as a cook for Borger Healthcare Center and was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Fraley, in 1938. Survivors include a brother, Wesley William Braddock of Clarendon; and a sister, Bobbie Gilchrest of Borger. Frankie T. Patton CANADIAN - Frankie T. Patton, 82, died Monday June 22, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Missionary Baptist Church of Paducah with the Rev. Keith Prather, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Paducah by Seigler Funeral Home of Paducah. Mrs. Patton was born in Horatio, Ark. With her husband, she moved to Cottle County in 1931 and lived in the Paducah and Guthrie areas until 1987. She moved to Canadian in 1994. She was a member of Missionary Baptist Church. She married W.E. "Buddy" Patton in 1931 at Horatio. He died in 1987. Survivors include a son, Troy Patton of Canadian; two daughters, Nina Daniels of Lubbock and Joy Torian of Antlers, Okla.; five sisters, Mary Williamson of Mount Ida, Ark., Rachel Talley, Sybel Young and Della Young, all of Horatio, and Evelyn Young of Turlock, Calif.; two brothers, Leonard Irvan and Russell Irvan, both of Horatio; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Joe Lopez Jr. STRATFORD - Joe Lopez Jr., 50, died Tuesday, June 23, 1998. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Stratford. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church with the Rev. Juan Carlos Barragan of St. John's Catholic Church of Borger officiating. Burial will be in Stratford Cemetery by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mr. Lopez was born in Trinidad, Colo., and lived in Stratford for most of his life. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War where he served from 1967 until 1973 as a sergeant in the First Battalion 25th Infantry Division. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. Mr. Lopez was employed for 12 years as a heavy equipment operator for a feedlot. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He married Rosario Gutierrez in 1988 at Stratford. He was preceded in death by his brother, Mikel Lopez, on May 24. Survivors include his wife; his mother, Mollie Lopez of Stratford; two brothers, Carlos Lopez of Las Cruces, N.M., and Ferman Lopez of Stratford; and four sisters, Loretta Armenta, Candy Gutierrez and Georgia Ramos, all of Stratford, and Mary Pedraza of Hobbs, N.M. Amarillo Samuel Ferracane Jr. Samuel Ferracane Jr., 51, of Amarillo, died Sunday, June 21, 1998. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Pleasant Valley Baptist Church with Dr. Dana Moore, pastor, officiating. The family will have private burial services at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mr. Ferracane was born in Suffern, N.Y., and had lived in Amarillo since 1969. He was a sergeant in the Air Force and served in Vietnam. He was employed as a car man for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad. He married Linda Cheryl Garren in 1968 at Littlefield. Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Leea Dorris, Jessica Woodrell, Francesca Ferracane and Lauren Ferracane, all of Amarillo; two brothers, Anthony Ferracane of Prescott, Ariz., and Robert Ferracane of Wesley Hills, N.Y.; and four grandchildren. Alfred William Wren Alfred William Wren, 89, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, June 23, 1998. Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road, with the Rev. Dan Usiak of Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be Llano East Cemetery. Mr. Wren was born in Plainview and had lived in Amarillo for most of his life. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a truck driver and a Methodist. He married Mamie Parsons in 1982 at Sherman. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Marie Barnett and Joyce Lanier, both of Amarillo; two sons, Alfred W. Wren Jr., of Dumas and Robert Luther Wren of Corpus Christi; three stepdaughters, Kathline Adcock of Dumas and Pat Goodwin and Ouida Walker, both of Bells; two stepsons, Jessie James of Amarillo and Sam West of Houston; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 14 great-greatgrandchildren; and four great-great-greatgrandchildren. Eddie Mae Paxton Eddie Mae Paxton, 75, of Amarillo, died Monday, June 22, 1998 in Raton, N.M. She moved to Amarillo in 1975 from Fritch. She was retired and a member of St. Stephen United Methodist Church. She married Vaun Paxton in 1940 at Magnum, Okla. He died in 1984. Survivors include a son, Wheeler Paxton of Dallas; two daughters, Lavona Kuhn of Amarillo and Sandra Hadley of Houston; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Oklahoma Mabel Irene Noonan GUYMON, Okla. - Mabel Irene Noonan, 87, died Monday, June 22, 1998. Vigil services will be held at 7 p.m. today in Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Peter's Catholic Church by the Rev. Scott Adams. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery. Mrs. Noonan was born in Nickerson, Kan. She was raised in Guymon and graduated in 1930 from Guymon High School. She married John F. Noonan in 1930 at Woodward, Okla. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, the St. Monica Circle and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1983. Survivors include a daughter, Judy Ritter of Guymon; a brother, William R. Wolgram of Fruita, Colo.; two sisters, Gertrude Wolgram of Silver Springs, Md., and Cathrine Vernon of Washington D.C.; two grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren. Aubrey Keith ERICK, Okla. - Aubrey Keith, 72, a former Amarillo resident, died Monday, June 22, 1998. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in White Rose Cemetery with Ray Smart officiating. Arrangements are by Fatheree-Albert Funeral Home in Erick. Mr. Keith was born and raised in Sweetwater where he attended school. After his marriage, he lived in Reydon before moving to Amarillo in 1965. He retired after 20 years with the city of Amarillo. Mr. Keith returned to Erick in 1987. He was employed as a mechanic. He married Anita Gray in 1950 at Cheyenne. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Meredith, and two sons, David and Stanley. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Cheryl Osborn of Amarillo and Nelda Keith of San Antonio; two sons, Jerry Keith and Allen Keith, both of Amarillo; and 12 grandchildren. New Mexico Ralph Fraze PORTALES, N.M. - Ralph Fraze, 85, died Monday, June 22, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Emmanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Hoyt Welch and Scott P. Reeves officiating. Burial will be in Portales Cemetery by Wheeler Mortuary of Portales Inc. Mr. Fraze was born in Longs and started school there. He finished eighth grade at Rogers where he played basketball. He played baseball, softball and high jumped on the track team. After his marriage, Mr. Fraze lived in the Dora area until 1978 when he retired from farming and moved to Portales. He was involved in raising beef and dairy cattle and hogs. He was an insurance adjuster for hail damage on crops. Mr. Fraze witched water wells in the area. He was active in the Dora Baptist Church where he served for 32 years as deacon, Sunday school teacher, church treasurer and sang in gospel quartets. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. He married Zillah Ragland in 1935 at Portales. He was preceded in death by a son, Gene Fraze, in 1990. Survivors include his wife; a son, Max Fraze of Clovis; a daughter, Wilma Buzard of Portales; a brother, Phillip Fraze of Portales; three sisters, Ruth Adams and Mamie Kennedy, both of Portales, and Sybil Victor of Dora; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
