Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Robertson Chapel of Memories with Don Stone, minister of White Deer Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Citizens Cemetery by Robertson Funeral Directors, Inc. of Clarendon. Mr. Richerson was born in Hedley and was a longtime resident of Donley County until he moved to Scottsdale, Ariz., 21/2 years ago. He was a retired welder. He was a member of the Tulsa Pipeliners Union No. 798 for more than 45 years and Clarendon Church of Christ. He married Dora Lucille Piercy in 1940. She died in 1982. Survivors include two sons, John Richerson of Fort Worth and Steve Richerson of Scottsdale, Ariz; three sisters, Madge Moore, Jeanne Richerson and Lloyd Richerson, all of Odessa; a brother, Glen Richerson of Shamrock; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Ed W. Gilman DUMAS - Ed W. Gilman, 70, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Morrison Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel with Allen Kramer, minister of Sixth & Meredith Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery. Mr. Gilman was born in Pampa and had lived in Dumas since 1953. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and retired from Exell Helium in 1984. He was a member of Sixth & Meredith Church of Christ. He married Cassie Meador in 1924 at Clayton, N.M. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Veena Gilman, in 1964. Survivors include his wife; a son, James E. Gilman of Sanford; two daughters, Yulanda Habekott and Sarah Hernandez, both of Dumas; his mother, Lorine Gilman of Dumas; two sisters, Pat Hoyle of Carlsbad, N.M., and Kay Ardry of Amarillo; and 10 grandchildren. The family will be at 408 Cedar in Dumas. Amarillo Ruth Gandy Ruth Gandy, 80, of Amarillo, died Saturday, Dec. 19, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St., with the Rev. Richey Boyd of Coulter Road Baptist Church officiating. Anatomical donations will be to Texas Tech Medical School. Mrs. Gandy was born in Endee, N.M., and moved to Amarillo in 1995 from Hereford. She was a homemaker and attended Coulter Road Baptist Church. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Cultural Home Demonstration Club, Kings Manor Auxiliary and First Baptist Church, all of Hereford. She married Jim G. Gandy in 1937 at Turkey. He died in 1995. Survivors include two daughters, Pat Gandy Blandford of Mesquite and Elizabeth Warren of Amarillo; two sons, John Gandy of Denton and Eddie Gandy of Dalhart; a sister, Margaret Gaither of Houston; special friend, Royce Baugh of Amarillo; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Malone, 80, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1998. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in San Jacinto Full Gospel Church with James Burns, pastor, and Dee McKever officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 Bell St. Mr. Malone was born in Denton and moved to Amarillo in 1923. He was a postal clerk in Amarillo and a World War II veteran of the Army. He was a member of San Jacinto Full Gospel Church. Survivors include three sons, Earl Malone and Jody Malone, both of Amarillo, and Harold Eason of Mineral Wells; two daughters, Barbara Ray and Sandra Roys, both of Amarillo; two brothers, James F. Malone of Canyon and Buddy Malone of Lake Texhoma; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice and Life Enrichment Center. Thomas Edward Evans Thomas Edward Evans, 79, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, Bell Avenue Chapel, 5400 Bell St., with Dean Wynn officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Evans was born in Bickwell, Ind. He moved to Amarillo in 1978 from Little Rock, Ark. He was a World War II veteran of the Army Air Corps and in the Texas National Guard. Mr. Evans graduated from Northwestern College and was a bio-medical engineer. In Little Rock, he was a member of the Masonic Blue Lodge, Pulaski Heights Lodge No. 16, and the Shriners. He married Phyllis Hurst in 1958. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margie Hogge, in 1955 and by a son, Carl Evans, in 1954. Survivors include his wife; three sons, James Evans of Spearman, Jerry Evans of Hurst and Charles Evans of Amarillo; five daughters, Carol Keys, Carla Isaacs and Jackie Cordell, all of Amarillo, Ann Murry of Longview and Krista Larson of Little Rock, Ark.; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. The family suggest memorials be to American Heart Association. Myrtle Glenn Myrtle "Myrt" Glenn, 87, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 1998. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Rochester Cemetery in Rochester with Mr. Wayne Speck, nephew, and Katherine Byrd, minister of Faith Chapel Church in Rochester, officiating. Arrangements are by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce St. Mrs. Glenn was born in Rochester. She moved to Amarillo in 1944 from Dumas. She was manager of the Coronado Inn and other motels and hotels in Amarillo. She retired in 1982. Mrs. Glenn was preceded in death by a son, Bill Glenn, in 1986. Survivors include a grandson, Walter B. Glenn of Rio Rancho, N.M.; a granddaughter, Karen Herd of San Angelo; two stepsons, George Castagnetta and Joe Castagnetta, both of Borger; and a greatgrandchild. The family suggest memorials be to American Cancer Association, 3915 Bell, Amarillo, TX 79109. W. D. Beaver W.D. "Bud" Beaver, 84, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 1998. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road, with the Rev. James Burns of San Jacinto Full Gospel. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Beaver was born in Henderson County and was an Army veteran of World War II. In 1956, he moved to Amarillo from Athens. He was employed as an operator at Ivan Road Construction and was a member of First Christian Church in Pleasant Valley. He married Georgia Ledbetter in 1956 at Perryton. She died in 1993. Survivors include two daughters, Raynell Graham of Tierra Marilla, N.M., and Merlene Wallace of Corsicana; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Veterans Administration Medical Center, 6010 W. Amarillo Blvd., Amarillo, TX 79106-1992. Mary Frances Kates Mary Frances Kates, 85, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in West Amarillo Church of Christ with the elders of the church officiating. Cremation and arrangements will be by Brooks Funeral Directors of Canyon. Mrs. Kates was born in Pilot Point and was a longtime resident of Amarillo. She was a retired beauty operator and grocery clerk. She was a member of West Amarillo Church of Christ. Survivors include several cousins.
