Mr. Garza was born in San Saba. He had farmed and ranched in the Dumas and Hartley areas over 40 years. He married Mary Gonzales in 1955 at Austin. Survivors include his wife; a son, David Garza of Amarillo; six daughters, Linda Bethel of Amarillo, Tonya Garza and Sylvia Taft, both of Dalhart, Margie House of Hartley and Sandra Rice and Lee Garza, both of Canyon; a brother, Vincent Garza of DeLeon; two sisters, Eleda Salazar and Tommie Castro, both of Austin; and 16 grandchildren. The family will be at 914 Sagebrush. Angelina Enriquez HEREFORD - Angelina Enriquez, 1-month-old infant daughter of Vanessa Enriquez and Bentura Aguliera, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 1998, in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in St. Anthony's Cemetery with Deacon Jesse Guerra officiating. Arrangements are by Rix Funeral Directors. Angelina was born in Hereford. Survivors include her mother and father; a brother, Isaiah Enriquez; grandparents, Joe and Dora Enriquez and Ventra and Sylvia Aguliera, all of Hereford; and great-grandfather, Anacleto Enriquez of Eagle Pass, Texas, and Ben Villegas of Hereford. Emily A. Larson CANADIAN - Emily A. Larson, 72, of Grand Junction, Colo., died Monday, Nov. 23, 1998. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Higgins Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Don Cheshire, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Higgins, officiating. Arrangements are by Stickley-Hill Funeral Directors in Canadian. Mrs. Larson was born in Lansing, Mich. In 1964, she moved to Higgins from Torrance, Calif., and then moved to Grand Junction in 1986. She was a homemaker and member of Higgins First United Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star in Hawthorne, Calif. She married Claude Larson in 1964 at Canadian. He died in 1980. Survivors include two sons, Ray Larson of Mountain Home, Ark., and Roy Larson; a special friend, Rex Hamill of Grand Junction; and 16 grandchildren. Viewing will be from 8:30 a.m. until noon Sunday at the funeral home in Canadian. Cecil W. Seitz DALHART - Cecil W. Seitz, 73, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 1998. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Hass Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Rammage of First Baptist Church of Clayton, N.M., officiating. Burial will be in Knox City Cemetery in Knox City. Mr. Seitz was born in Mobeetie where he attended school. After graduation, he enlisted in the Navy in 1943 and served on the USS California during World War II. In 1946, he enrolled in Texas Tech University where he received his degree in agriculture science. Mr. Seitz was employed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture with the Soil Conservation Service in Knox City. He also was involved in farming and ranching. In 1964, Mr. Seitz moved to Dalhart where he continued to work for the Soil Conservation Service until his retirement in 1983. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Dalhart. He married Olene Walker in 1957 at Knox City. He was preceded in death by a son, Finnice Seitz, in 1983. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Jalene Buysman of Dalhart and Deanna French of Lubbock; three brothers, Glen Seitz of Dallas, Elbert Lee Seitz of Canyon and Garland Seitz of Eldorado, Okla.; and two grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Alzheimer's Association of the Texas Panhandle. JoAnn Mitchell BORGER - JoAnn Mitchell, 63, died Friday, Nov. 27, 1998. Mrs. Mitchell was a native of Olton and a Borger resident for 53 years. She was a teacher at Pringle-Morse School for six years and a journalist for KQTY for 10 years and the Borger News Herald for 11 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She married Jim Mitchell in 1954 at Borger. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Jerry Michael Mitchell of Littleton, Colo., and James Lawrence Mitchell of Fritch; a daughter, Jana Lynn Hill of Lubbock; five brothers, Pat Huffine, Tommy Huffine and Lester Huffine, all of Amarillo, Marvin Huffine of Plainview and Carol Huffine of Borger; three sisters, Paula Bowie of Dallas, Edith Fredericks of Deer Park and Faye Wright of Clute; and six grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Sunnyside Baptist Church with the Rev. Bennie Wright, pastor, and David Fletcher, former pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Dimmitt by Foskey-Lilley-McGill Funeral Home. Mrs. Sadler was born in Hall County and moved to Sunnyside in 1926. She attended school in Sunnyside and graduated from Dimmitt High School in 1933. She was active in her church and community including Sunnyside Baptist Church and Plains Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary. She married Embree Roy Sadler in 1933 at Plainview. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Myles F. Sadler of Lubbock and Embree Gale Sadler of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. John Edward Huggins LOCKNEY - John Edward Huggins, 76, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Gene Hawkins, retired Baptist minister, officiating. Burial will be in Lockney Cemetery by Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home. Mr. Huggins was born and raised in Lockney where he graduated from high school. He attended Texas Tech University and served in the Army Air Corps in World War II. He retired from the Air Force after 23 years. Mr. Huggins was a builder after his retirement from the military. He was a member of Yellowhouse Masonic Lodge of Lubbock, the Lockney Masonic Lodge No. 867 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 7993. He was a Baptist. She also attended data-processing school. She was a member of Anna Street Church of Christ and she taught Bible pre-school. She was a homemaker. She married E.D. Poynor Jr. in 1950 at Vernon. Monta Mae Clark Monta Mae Clark, 82, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, 24, 1998. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Clark was born in Emmitt and moved to Amarillo in 1980 from Pampa. She had been a member of First Baptist Church of Amarillo about 18 years. While living in Pampa, she was a Sunday School superintendent and a member of the Women's Missionary Union at Hobart Street Baptist Church. She married Arthur B. Clark in 1935 at Dawson. Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Annette Taylor and Lamoyne Garrison, both of Amarillo, and Deborah Edwards of Del Norte, Colo.; a brother, Woodrow Gorham of Wichita Falls; a sister, Ohma England of Fort Worth; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to a local chapter of the Gideons. Carroll Anderson Pool Carroll Anderson Pool, 62, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 1998. Private family services were Thursday in Clovis, N.M., with the Rev. John Rollinson, pastor of St. James Episcopal Church at Clovis, officiating. Cremation was by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Pool was born in Bailey County and moved to Amarillo in 1995. He was a Navy veteran. He graduated from West Texas State University and moved to Clovis in 1969. He was a self-employed insurance agent for All American Insurance Co., and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Clovis. He was preceded in death by a son, Martell Pool, in 1987. Survivors include two sisters, Betty Johnson of Muleshoe and Norma Orwin of Clovis. The family requests memorials be to Shriners Crippled Children's Hospitals. Ray D. Wicker Ray D. Wicker, 84, of Amarillo, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 1998. Masonic graveside rites will be at 1:15 p.m. today in Memorial Park Cemetery with rites by Masonic Lodge 731. Military rites will be by Disabled American Veterans Chapter 26. Mr. Wicker was born in Placid and had lived in Amarillo since 1935. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a self-employed cement contractor. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 731, the Scottish Rite, Khiva Temple and First Christian Church. He volunteered thousands of hours at Ceta Glen Christian Camp. He married Eva Mae Watson in 1937 at Canyon. She died in February. Survivors include three daughters, Sue Wicker Bartolino of Ceta Glen, Melinda Adams of Florida and Kristy Wicker Young of Amarillo; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. The family requests memorials be to a favorite charity. Anne Jeanette Ivie Anne Jeanette Ivie, 70, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 1998. Mrs. Ivie was born in Hamlin and moved to Amarillo eight years ago from the Houston/Galveston area. She graduated in 1950 from Baylor University at Waco with a liberal arts degree in education. She was a teacher and taught first grade for 15 years in the Fort Worth, Waco and Angleton school districts. She was a member of the New Neighbors Club and also of Western Hills Baptist Church of Fort Worth. She married Will Elisha Ivie Jr. in 1952 at Waco. He preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter, Suzanne Claire Ivie Williams of Frisco; a sister, Shirley Claire Claybrook of Humble; a niece, Autumn Claire Claybrook of Denton; and a nephew, Donald Adrian Claybrook Jr. of Humble. Nemoede, 82, of Amarillo, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 1998. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mr. Nemoede was born in New Haven, Minn., and served in the Army in World War II. He moved to Amarillo in 1945. He was a retired custodian for First Baptist Church where he was a member. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor, in 1986 and by two daughters, Nina Hughes, in 1991 and Betty Trogden in 1997. Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Proffitt of Amarillo; three sons, Richard Nemoede, Robert Nemoede and Ronnie Nemoede, all of Amarillo; four sisters, Ruth Krause and Elkie Yates, both of Whittier, Calif., Mary Babajian of Arcadia, Calif., and Dorothy Squires of Peach Orchard, Ark.; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. in Goodlett Cemetery in Goodlett. Mrs. Brooks graduated from Goodlett High School in 1934. In 1983, she retired after 27 years as office manager and sales with Zales Corp. She was a member of the Bedford Church of Christ. She married Claude D. Brooks 56 years ago. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Jerry Leonard Brooks of Grand Prairie and John Perry Brooks of Wichita Falls; two sisters, Nora Mae Mayfield of Grand Prairie and Ara Reeves of Quanah; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. New Mexico Dr. Joe E. Stewart SANTA FE, N.M. - Dr. Joe E. Stewart, 53, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1998. Memorial services will be arranged by McGee Memorial Chapel in Santa Fe. Dr. Stewart was born in Hollis, Okla., and grew up in Saguache. He graduated from Mountain Valley School and then received his doctor of veterinary medicine from Colorado State University in 1969. After graduation, he moved to Salida. From 1970 until 1972, Dr. Stewart served in the Army at Fort Ord in Monterey, Calif. In 1972, he moved to Santa Fe where he practiced at the Ark Veterinary Hospital. He retired in 1987. He married Brenda in 1968. Survivors include his wife; a son, Todd; a daughter, Amy; and his father, Orville Stewart. Oklahoma B.M. Smith GUYMON, Okla. - B.M. Smith, 70, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Shannon Smith officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery. Mr. Smith was born in Little Cedar and grew up in Antlers. He moved to Raton, N.M., when he was 15. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad. He married Audra Evelyn "Tootie" Hagelberg in 1977 at Raton and moved to Guymon in 1988. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1993. Survivors include a daughter, V.K. Hefley of Pauls Valley, Okla.; four sons, Henry "Bims" Smith of Maxwell, N.M., Jim Hagelberg of Goodwell, Donnie Hagelberg of Boise City and John Wayne Hagelberg of Guymon; five brothers and sisters, C.O.
