Mrs. Weatherford was born in Range, Okla., and raised in Guymon. She and her husband moved to Dalhart in the late 1930s. She was a member of the Lakeview United Methodist Church. She married Freeman C. Weatherford in 1934 at Guymon. He died in 1993. Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Smith of Wabash, Ind., and Janice Poe of Dalhart; three sons, Steve Weatherford of Hartley, Dennis Weatherford of Dumas and Rodger Weatherford of Love Lock, Nev.; three sisters, Iris Wilkinson of Boise City, Idaho, Pearl Putnam of Canyon and Alcie Feese of Lucerne Valley, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Lloyd Crittenden BORGER - Lloyd Crittenden, 83, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Riverview Baptist Church with Jimmy Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors. Mr. Crittenden was born in Fannin County and had been a Borger resident for 48 years. He was a retired electrician with J.Q. Russell Electric. He attended Riverview Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice E. Crittenden in 1988. Survivors include two sons, Gary N. Crittenden of Borger and James E. Crittenden of Los Angeles, Calif.; four daughters, Linda Sue Hegdal of Los Angeles, Barbara Ann Long of Omaha, Neb., Lodean Casey of San Diego and Vivian Leigh McWilliams of Borger; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. The family will be at 205 Concord. Fannie Lee Kennedy PAMPA - Fannie Lee Kennedy, 91, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 1998. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today in Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Mrs. Kennedy was born in Lone Wolf, Okla. She was a homemaker. She married Haskell E. "Bob" Kennedy in 1940 at Pampa. He died in 1995. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Macartney, in 1991. Survivors include two sisters, Frances Dyke and Mildred Cunningham, both of Borger; a grandson; a granddaughter; and two great-great-grandchildren. She moved to Farwell in 1926 from Logan, N.M. She was a homemaker and member of the Oklahoma Lane Methodist Church. She married Claude Primrose in 1917 at Clarendon. He died in 1968. Mr. Johnson was born in Pampa. He was a World War II veteran of the Army, serving in Europe with Company I, 9th Infantry Division. Mr. Johnson was a retired carpenter and member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. He was a third degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Frank Keim Council No. 2767, for 41 years. He married Elizabeth "Betty" Berres in 1952 at Groom. Francell Young PLAINVIEW - Francell Young, 63, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 1998. Mrs. Young was born in Dickens County. She moved to Lubbock in 1957 and to Plainview in 1964. She was a homemaker, member of Northside Church of Christ in Olton, Plainview Senior Citizens and the Quilting Club. She married Willie Herbert Young in 1954 at Lubbock. He died in 1983. Charles Lee Pitcox PLAINVIEW - Charles Lee "Bear" Pitcox, 53, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 1998. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Plainview Memorial Park with the Rev. Roger Foote, pastor of Northside Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Lemons Funeral Home. Mr. Pitcox was born in Texarkana, Ark., and raised in Plainview. He attended Plainview schools. He served in the Army from 1961 until 1967. After his discharge, he lived in Plainview and Lubbock. He also lived in Atlanta. Mr. Pitcox returned to Plainview in 1985. He had been employed by the Water Reclamation Center and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He married Linda Minnella in 1987 at Plainview. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Melisa Davis of California; a sister, Debie Kay Robertson of Nash; his parents, Dewight Pitcox of Mansfield, La., and Lorene Brown of Texarkana; his grandmother, Ruth Waller of Plainview; and four grandchildren. She retired as a cook from the Childress Independent School District. She married Claude Harris King in 1937 at Altus, Okla. He died in 1994. Mr. Biddy was born in Greer County and had lived in the Blair area until 1982 when he moved to Amarillo. He was a carpenter and a member of Warren Baptist Church, where he had served as clerk and treasurer for 50 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Edna Biddy, in 1985. Survivors include two sons, Carter Biddy and Sam Biddy, both of Amarillo; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, H.C. Sillivent, in 1984. Hazel Anderson Hazel Anderson, 85, of Amarillo, a former resident of Post, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 1998. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Terrace Cemetery in Post with the Rev. Buddy Payne, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Justice-Mason Funeral Home. Mrs. Anderson was born in Henrietta. She attended Post schools before moving to Altus, Okla., where she graduated. She attended Texas Tech University. Mrs. Anderson moved from Post to Seminole where she and her husband farmed, ranched and owned several businesses including Anderson Implement. She later moved to Amarillo. She married Joe Anderson in 1931. He died in 1981. She also was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Anderson, in 1944. She is survived by her sister, Geneva Davis of Amarillo. New Mexico Louise C. Willingham CLOVIS, N.M. - Louise C. Willingham, 77, died Monday, Jan. 26, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First United Methodist Church with Dr. Bill Sylskar officiating. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens by Steed-Todd Funeral Home. Mrs. Willingham was born in Quinton, Okla. She had owned several business in Clovis including Anne Lee's Dress Shop, Wanda's Holiday of Fashion and Little Me Too. She also worked at Singer Sewing Center and for civil service at Cannon Air Force Base. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, was the first woman board member of the Clovis Chamber of Commerce, was serving as a member of the Women's Auxiliary at Plains Regional Medical Center at Clovis and a past member of the DOE's. She married Thomas D. Willingham in 1939 at Stigler, Okla. Survivors include her husband; a son, Tom Willingham Jr. of Clovis; a daughter, Sue Cornish of Belen; a brother, Winston Cocke of Wilburton, Okla.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Broaddus had been a member of First Baptist Church in Amarillo and Omega Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi. She also was a member of the Society of Mayflower Descendants in the State of Texas, the National Society of New England Women (Deacon John Tenney Colony, Texas), Colonel John Alston Chapter of Colonial Dames, the Lady Washington Chapter of National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution, and Jefferson Davis Chapter of United Daughters of the Confederacy. Other memberships included the Houston Genealogical Forum, Houston Garden Society (Master Gardener) and Certified Professional Secretaries Association. Survivors include her husband, Howard T. Broaddus; two children, Dianne Smith of Houston and Julian L. Broaddus of Tyler; a brother, Warren L. Bussey of Columbus, Ga.; and four grandchildren. Dr. Charles Henry Puckett Jr. FRISCO - Dr. Charles Henry Puckett Jr., 73, formerly of Amarillo, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 1998. Graveside services were at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Greenwood Cemetery at Fort Worth with the Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Arrangements were by Cantrell Funeral Home. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. today in the Children's Chapel at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Amarillo with the Rev. William D. Nix Jr., rector, officiating. Mr. Puckett was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Amarillo and attended Rejoice Lutheran Church at Frisco. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a retired dentist and a pilot. He married Sarah Martha Wiedeman in Fort Worth in 1952. He was preceded in death by a son, Charles Henry Puckett III. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Martha Puckett of Plano; and two grandchildren. Bert O. Cator GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. - Bert O. Cator, 97, died Sunday, Jan. 25, 1998. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church in Spearman with the Rev. Todd Dyess, pastor of First United Methodist Church in Pampa, officiating. Burial will be in Hansford Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman. Mr. Cator was born in Hansford County. He spent his early years driving cattle to Dodge City, Kan., ranching, driving school busses, and operating a gas station. After the death of his first wife, Olene Cambern, he moved to Glenwood Springs. He owned a silver fox farm and built a motel, Cator's Hideout. He married Hilda Blewett Cator in 1954 at Central City, Colo. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Bertie Wells, in 1993. Survivors include a daughter, Betty McClung of Bellingham, Wash.; a stepdaughter, Renae Blewett Besler of Edmond, Okla.; two brothers, Marshall Cator of Sunray and George Cator of Amarillo; seven grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Oklahoma Floy Virginia Williams EDMOND, Okla. - Floy Virginia Williams, 87, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 1998. Memorial service will be at 10 a.m Friday in First Christian Church in Edmond. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Durham by Baggerly Funeral Home of Edmond. Mrs. Williams was born in Durham. She attended Randolph Junior College, Oklahoma A&M and West Texas State University, receiving her bachelor's degree and teaching certificate. She earned her master's degree from West Texas State University. She taught school in one-room country schools in Oklahoma and in elementary schools in Canadian and Perryton, Texas, for a total of 33 years. She was a member of First Christian Church where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School, sang in the choir, played handbells, participated in CWF, and served as an elder. She achieved Worthy Matron status in the Eastern Star. She was active in B&PW and was named their Woman of the Year in 1974. She was a volunteer for Red Cross and the hospital auxiliary Pink Ladies. She married Furman Williams in 1933. He preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Muir Dees of Edmond; two granddaughters; two great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
