Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today in Bartley-Silva Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. John Ohlig officiating and Deacon Cantu assisting. Mrs. Tamayo was born in Robstown. She was a housewife and a day care assistant. She married Remijio Tamayo in 1959 at Lubbock. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Tomas Tamayo of Dallas and Remijio Tamayo Jr. and Cruz Tamayo, both of Floydada; three daughters, Nellie Dela Fuente of Denver, and Maricela Tamayo and Rosaicela, both of Floydada; five brothers, Martin Rojas and Vicente Rojas, both of Euless, Epimenio Rojas of Brownsville, Enrique Rojas of Robstown and Johnny Nerio of Corpus Christi; four sisters, Christina Perez of San Antonio, Catarina Ysassi and Mary Ellen Bosquez, both of Robstown and Rebecca Carmona of Grand Prairie; and five grandchildren. Alexander, 87, died Friday, Oct. 29, 1999 in Boerne. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. David Purl, pastor of St. Andrews Methodist, officiating. Burial will be in the Garden of Good Shepherd by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors. Mrs. Alexander was born in Sylvan Grove, Kan., and was a longtime resident of Borger, where she taught elementary school before retiring. She moved to Boerne in 1966 and was a member of the National Retired Teachers Association, Home Extension Club and First United Methodist Church in both Borger and Boerne. She married W.G. Alexander in 1960 at Panhandle. He died in 1965. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Jan Alexander of Boerne; two grandchildren; a niece; and a nephew. He moved to the Dalhart area in 1941, to California in 1962, and returned to Dalhart in 1982. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Penny Brown; two daughters, Wanda Bevans of Dalhart and Nelda Estes of Clearlake, Calif.; a son, Richard Brown of St. Joseph, Mo.; two brothers, Melvin Brown of Dalhart; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-greatgrandchildren. Mrs. Mendoza was born in Babonoyaba, Chihuahua, Mexico and had lived in Sunray since 1963. She was a homemaker and a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. Her husband, Juan Mendoza, died in 1994. Survivors include six daughters, Maria Sauceda, Ausencia Espino, Josephine Galaviz and Anna Ritcheson, all of Sunray, Helen Rodriguez of Dumas and Alicia Davis of Liberal, Kan.; two sons, Lauro Mendoza and Antonio Mendoza, both of Sunray; 34 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Witherspoon was a native and lifetime resident of Hereford. She graduated from Hereford High School, attended Mary Baldwin College and in 1945, she started Hereford Insurance Agency. She was a member of the Bayview Study Club, the Hereford Country Club and the Fellowship of Believers Church. She married James W. Witherspoon in 1959. He preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter, Jane Smith Hansen of Clovis, N.M.; a stepdaughter, Irene Couch of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two sisters, Nell Spradley of Hereford and Maureen O'Brien of Portland, Ore.; four grandchildren; and 12 greatgrandchildren. She married Millard Moore in 1940 at Dallas. He died in 1985. Survivors include a daughter, Joann Raef of Amarillo; a son, Frank Moore of Arlington; a sister, Alva Douglass Sparks of Muleshoe; and two grandchildren. He served with the Navy during World War II and retired in 1982 as a civil engineer for the Bureau of Reclamation. He was a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. He married Ellen Dyste in 1951 at Forman, N.D. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Larry Goodson of Dallas, Mark Goodson of Houston and Gary Goodson of Fort Hood; three daughters, Janell Dillard of Parker, Colo., and Denise Jones and Laurie Schmidt, both of Amarillo; and 12 grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Balko Apostolic Faith Church with Edwin Waterbury officiating. Burial will be in Pioneer Cemetery by Clark Funeral Service. Mr. Noble was born in Beaver and graduated from Beaver High School. He was a farmer in the Balko area and had been a member of Balko Apostolic Faith Church since 1944. He married Ruby Etta Cooper in 1940 at Beaver. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Ronald Noble of Balko, Derral Noble of Amarillo and Roger Noble of Pensacola, Fla.; two brothers, John Noble of Beaver and Marvin Noble of Derby, Kan.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was a retired farmer and a member of Iglesia Bautista Templo. He married Blasa Canava in 1938 at Salado. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Sarah Duenes of Lubbock, Modesta Rodriguez of New Home and Isabel Ramirez of Shallowater; a son, David Velasquez of O'Donnell; a brother, Rafael Velasquez of Wilson; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
