Services will be at 11 a.m. CST today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Laverty officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Terrace by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis, N.M. Mr. Kirkland was born in Bula and had lived in Farwell since 1956. He had been in the irrigation business for 49 years. He was the owner/operator of Kirkland Pump Co., and within the past few years, he was joined in partnership by a son, Duke. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Farwell and was a charter member of the Farwell Country Club. He married Sue Green in 1952 in Amarillo. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jack Allen Kirkland and Duke Kirkland, both of Farwell; a daughter, Leigh Ann Woods of Farwell; his mother, Della Kirkland of Farwell; three brothers, Walter Kirkland and Bobby Kirkland, both of Plattsburg, Mo., and Bill Kirkland of Amarillo; a sister, Alice Dosher of Farwell; eight grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren. Philip Hilton, pastor, officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Berlin Cemetery at Berlin, Okla., with the Rev. Floyd Wingo Jr., a Baptist minister from Stillwater, Okla., officiating. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mr. Wingo was born in Berlin and had lived in Sunray since 1969. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He retired from the sanitation department for the city of Sunray in 1983 and was a longtime cowboy. He married Juanita Mutschler in 1943 at Elk City, Okla. He was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Lyndell Wingo, in 1965. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Gary C. Wingo of Lamar, Colo., and Tom Wingo of Sunray; three brothers, Raymond Wingo of Wilburton, Okla., Floyd Wingo of Cheyenne, Okla., and Jack Wingo of Henderson, Nev.; two sisters, Joyce Nation of Wilburton, Okla., and Dorothy Strickland of Kingman, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren. Cremation was handled by Brown Funeral Directors of Borger. Mrs. Earnest was born in Puget Sound, Wash., and had lived in Borger most of her life. She was a housewife and a Catholic. Mr. Francis was born in Mangum, Okla., and had been a Texhoma resident for 35 years. During World War II, he was a pilot with the Army Air Corps. He was employed as an aerial sprayer. Survivors include three daughters, Linda Marriott and Rebecca Marriott, both of Plainview, and Dena Roberts of Visalia, Calif.; his father, Daniel Marriott of Plainview; two brothers, Dan R. Marriott of Visalia and Ricky Green of Farmersville, Calif.; four sisters, Pam Padilla, Trina Marriott and Carla Royston, all of Visalia, and Cindy Marriott of Plainview; his grandmother, Ola Marriott of Plainview; and two grandchildren. Burial will be in Rowe Cemetery in Hedley by Robertson Funeral Directors in Clarendon. Mr. Monroe was born in Clarendon and was a former Hedley resident. He lived in Afton and Matador before returning to Hedley. For 13 years, he worked in highway bridge construction with Monroe and Sons. Mr. Monroe had been a peanut producer with White Monroe Partnership. He was a member of Hedley High School Booster Club, the Panhandle Peanut Growers Association and the Hedley Church of Christ. He married Shauna Lee White in 1975 at Hedley. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Dana Ford of White Deer; a son, Dustin Monroe of Hedley; his parents, E.H. "Curly" and Hazel Monroe of Amarillo; and two brothers, Everett Monroe of Lubbock and Roy Monroe of Howardwick. Mrs. Cobb was born in Davis, Okla., and had lived in Claude for more than 60 years. She was employed by Mitchell Goodwin Lumber Co., and later for the Claude Library before retiring in 1980. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She married Harold Burt Cobb in 1935 at Claude. He died in 1972. Survivors include a son, Jack B. She was a homemaker and member of New Life Assembly of God Church. She married Angel Ramos in February at Plainview. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Joe Manuel Gonzales Jr. of Plainview, Isaac Zambrano of Albuquerque, N.M., and Juan Christian Baca of Amarillo; three daughters, Julie Gonzales, Angelica Mirissa Ramos and Brittany Ramos, all of Plainview; her mother, Nora Martinez; two brothers, David Martinez of Albuquerque and Johnny Martinez of Hampton, Va.; and a sister, Connie Hipolito of Dallas.
