Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Coolidge Cemetery at Coolidge, Kan., with Gaylord Cook of Dalhart officiating. Arrangements are by Greene Funeral Home at Syracuse, Kan. Mr. Shedeck was born in Borger, and had been a Spearman resident most of his life. He had lived in Midland for 15 years. He graduated from Spearman High School. He attended Amarillo College, the auto mechanics department and East Texas State University. Mr. Shedeck was an auto mechanic instructor at Midland Junior College, where he had been named Teacher of the Year for the past two years. He was a member of the Golf Course Road Church of Christ in Midland. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Lee of Pukalani, Hawaii, and Claire Shedeck of Hamlin; his mother, Colleen Shedeck of Syracuse; a brother, Mike Shedeck of Dalhart; a sister, Vicki Wilson of Fritch; his grandmother, Anna Raney of Syracuse; and two grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to the Diabetes Association or a favorite charity. Dorothy Wilks OLTON - Dorothy Wilks, 74, died Sunday, May 2, 1999, at Lubbock. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Main Street Church of Christ with Rick Harper and Reydon Stanford officiating. Burial will be in Olton Cemetery by Foskey-Lilley-McGill Funeral Home. Mrs. Wilks was born in Tuskahoma, Okla., and moved to Olton in 1958 from Denton. She was a homemaker. She married Bryl Wilks in 1967 at Olton. She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Digby, in 1990. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park in the Garden of Love by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Mr. Foster was born in Congo, N.C. and served in the Navy during World War II. He was a member of the Elks Club, the Moose Club and St. John's Catholic Church of Borger. He was a supervisor for ATT and moved to Fritch from Hot Springs, Ark. in 1993. He married Helen Hall in 1942 at Washington D.C. Survivors include his wife; a son, Jerry Foster of Fritch; a brother, A.G. Foster of North Wilkesboro, N.C.; two sisters, Hazel Mitchell of Winston Salem, N.C. and Hope Norvas of Lakewood, Calif.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Golleher QUANAH - Ruth A. Golleher, 88, died Monday, May 3, 1999. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Quanah Church of Christ with Jack Westbrook officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in the Lockney Cemetery in Lockney by Price-Jackson Funeral Home. Mrs. Golleher was born in Sterling, Okla. She lived in Wichita Falls from 1936 until 1990 when she moved to Quanah. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She married George Golleher in 1929 at Clovis, N.M. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Roy E. Golleher of Wichita Falls and Gordon E. In 1959, she moved to Hemphill County from Ponca City, Okla. A Canadian resident for the past 15 years, she moved to Amarillo in 1998. She was a homemaker and member of the Lutheran Church. She married Leroy Brown in 1952 at Clayton, N.M. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Cynthia "Cindy" Hughes of Amarillo; a son, Colby Dale Brown of Perryton; a sister, Evelyn Babitzke of Canadian; and four grandchildren. Mrs. Smith was born in Marlow, Okla., and graduated from Rush Springs High School in 1944. During World War II, she worked in the Pentagon. She was a longtime member of the 11th and Amarillo Street Church of Christ. She married E.L. "Jack" Church in 1944 at Clovis, N.M. He died in 1973. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery by Wallace Funeral Home of Tulia. Mr. Been was born and raised in Okemah, Okla., where he attended schools. Until 1965, he worked in Pampa as an electrician. He then moved to Tulia and worked for Swisher Electric Co. Mr. Been was a farmer and also had worked for Swisher County since 1986 as a maintainer operator. He was a member of the Swisher County Activities Association and was an active supporter of the Swisher County 4-H Club. He married Judy Perrin in 1966 at Tulia. Survivors include his wife; a grandson, J. Frank Been; three daughters, Jerri Sue Scroggins of Omaha, Neb., Vicki Benson of Tulia and Dee Dee Been of Kress; two sons, Mike Been and Jim Bob Been, both of Tulia; three brothers, Rowe Been, Bobby Been and Billy Been, all of Okemah; three sisters, Josephine Klutts of Oklahoma, Norma Smith of Okemah and Dolly Hollman of Meeker, Okla.; and eight grandchildren. Mrs. Warlick was born in Vinson, Okla., and had been a resident of Amarillo for 43 years. She was a homemaker. She married Edgar Jack Warlick in 1957 in Amarillo. He died in 1992. Twenty years ago, he started as grocery sacker at Albertson's at 45th and Western and worked his way up to management. At the time of his death, Mr. Sellers worked at the Pampa store. He was a member of Paramount Terrace Christian Church. He married Tammy Watson in 1990 at Happy. Survivors include his wife; his parents, Edgar and Gwyn Sellers of Amarillo; a brother, Danny Sellers of Amarillo; a sister, Brenda Wetzel of Plano; and his grandmother, Irene Murphy of Amarillo. Mrs. Bartels was born in Liberal, Kan. She graduated from Liberal High School in 1965 and attended Oklahoma City University. She married Wayne Otto Bartels in 1980 at Oklahoma City. In 1990, they moved to Guymon, where they lived until 1998, when they moved back to Oklahoma City. She was a legal secretary and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church at Guymon. She graduated from Lyons High School in 1937. In 1953, she moved to Hooker where she worked for 35 years as a sales clerk for Hooker Hardware. Mrs. Loughridge was a member of First Christian Church, the Hooker Chamber of Commerce Visitors Center, Hooker Senior Citizens and was past grand noble of Hooker Rebekah Lodge. She married Leroy "L.A." Loughridge in 1938. He died in 1992. Burial will be in Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery by Dunn Funeral Home. Mrs. Hunt was born in Lahoma, Okla., and had lived in Tucumcari for the past 70 years. She was active in operating the Hunt Insurance and Real Estate for many years until the time of her death. She was a past matron of the Bethel Chapter No. 15 Order of Eastern Star, the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Center Street United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel W. Hunt, who died in 1976. Survivors include two sons, Samuel W. Hunt Jr., of San Marino, Calif., and Charles M. Hunt of Dallas; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Viewing will be until time of service at the funeral home.
