Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mrs. Thomas was born in Memphis, Texas, and had lived in Amarillo most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Olsen Park Seventh-day Adventist Church. She married C. R. Thomas in 1960 at Pampa. He died in 1972. Survivors include two daughters, Lynn Hugg of Amarillo and Sue Hurst of Albuquerque, N.M.; two sons, John Joiner and Danny Joiner, both of Amarillo; a brother, Bruce Edwards of Amarillo; a sister, Sue DeHart of Amarillo; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Georgia St. Mr. Maxwell was born in Amarillo. He served in the Army for 18 years and was a Vietnam veteran. He moved back to Amarillo 21/2 years ago from California. He had worked for Baxter Lane for 21/2 years. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. There are no known survivors. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Rector Funeral Home Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St., with Ernest Cantu of Spanish Hereford Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses officiating. Burial will be in Llano East Cemetery. Mrs. Fierro was born in Hereford and graduated from Hereford High School. She was owner/operator of Fierro & Sons Auto Sales and member of Placentera Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses. Survivors include her husband, Jose Fierro; two sons, Carlos Miguel Fierro and Hoz Alfredo Fierro, both of Amarillo; her parents, Elias and Mary Presas of Amarillo; and the Cantu family of Hereford. The body will not be available for viewing. Amarillo Daily News, Nov. 4, 1999 Warren Whiteley Warren Whiteley, 88, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1999. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors Colonial Chapel in Pampa with Glen Walton, minister of the Bell Avenue Church of Christ of Amarillo, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa. Mr. Whiteley was born in Beckham County, Okla. From 1950 until 1997, he lived in Pampa and then moved to Amarillo. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Southwest Church of Christ of Amarillo. He married Maud Whiteley in 1945 at Erick, Okla. She died in July. Survivors include a son, Gary Whiteley of Amarillo and two grandchildren. Amarillo Daily News, Nov. 4, 1999 William R. Hayes William R. "Bill" Hayes, 77, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1999. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Memorial Park Funeral Home, Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with Dr. Kurt Oheim, the Rev. Raymond Bowlin and the Rev. Rob Leathers officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Hayes was born in Pontotoc County, Okla., and moved to Amarillo in 1965 from Borger. He was an engineer and retired from the Tri State Baking Co. He was active in the Boy Scouts of America for 15 years. During World War II, Mr. Hayes served in the Army. He was a prisoner of war and was awarded two Bronze Stars and the Purple Heart. He married Billie Earhart in 1955 at Ada, Okla. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Roger Hayes and Robert Hayes, both of Amarillo, and James David Hayes; a daughter, Margaret Hinman of San Juan Capistrano, Calif.; two sisters, Catherine Close of Ada and Hallie Bray of Tulsa; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Georgia St. Mrs. Briley was born in Texhoma, Okla., and graduated from Dalhart High School. In 1929, she moved to Amarillo. From 1930 until 1936, Mrs. Briley was employed by Natural Gas Pipeline Co. and Colorado Interstate Gas. She was an accountant for Hague, Harrington and Marsh Law Firm for 14 years and was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Lee Briley. Survivors include two nieces, Marilyn Brooks Gary of Huntsville and Connie Wheeler of Palestine; a nephew, Louis Lanners of Houston; and other nieces and nephews. Osage St., Amarillo. Mrs. Watson was born in Knoxville and raised in Pakan community. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She married Everett Watson in 1931 at Sayre, Okla. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1992, a daughter, Alta Shaller in 1988, and a son, Carl Lee Watson also in 1988. Survivors include a daughter, Norma Wiginton of McLean; two sisters, Bernice Holmes of Amarillo and Betty Lou Bush of Bentonville, Ark.; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Eppinette and her second husband, Harold Combs, and a son, Ray Eppinette. White in 1938 at Sayre, Okla. He died in 1979. She also was preceded in death by a son, Otis White in 1998. She married Clifford Baggett in 1981 at Butler, Okla. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, LaDina McKinney of Amarillo; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Don Wirsdorfer officiating. Burial will be at Holt Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman. Mr. Kirk was born in Hutchinson County where he was a lifetime resident. He was a farmer and rancher who supervised the operation of Kirk family properties including Section 54 of Hutchinson County which the family settled in 1900. Mr. Kirk was a member of Hansford Masonic Lodge No. 1040 AF&AM, was a 32nd degree Mason, and a member of First Christian Church. He married Grace Mitts Davis in 1971 at Spearman. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Annie Lee Kirk, in 1970. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Jeanette Kirk of Perryton; a son, Roger Davis of Oklahoma City; a brother, Buster Kirk of Angel Fire, N.M.; a sister, Dorris Faver of Lubbock; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
