Mrs. Lee was born in Wellington. She married James Lee in 1957 at Childress. They moved to Pampa in 1958 from Wellington. She was a homemaker and a member of Hi-Land Christian Church. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Michael Lee of Amarillo and Neal Lee of White Deer; a daughter, Pam Lee of Lubbock; mother, Joe Anna Smith of Pampa; three sisters, Sandy Wilson of Yukon, Okla., Sherri Shannon of Duncan, Okla., and Judy Young of Scottsdale, Ariz.; three brothers, Larry Flint, David Flint and Bruce Flint, all of Oklahoma City; and five grandchildren. Al Murdock HAPPY - Al Murdock, 68, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 1999. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Happy Church of Christ with Rick Bloodworth, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Happy Cemetery by Brooks Funeral Directors of Happy. Mr. Murdock was born in Donley County and was an Army veteran of World War II. He moved to Happy in 1963 where he owned Al's Restaurant until 1991. He also owned the Spraying Business Pest Control. He married Margaret Harris in 1952 at Memphis. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Tanya McCarley and Karen Hargrave, both of Happy; three brothers, Royce Murdock of Memphis, Jess Murdock of Mineola and Bud Murdock of Amarillo; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Happy Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 216, Happy, TX 79042. Don Edward Tuscana PADUCAH - Don Edward Tuscana, 57, of Duncanville, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 1999. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Paducah with the Rev. Roy Canada, interim pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Siegler Funeral Home. Mr. Tuscana was born in Paducah and was a former Marine. He moved to Duncanville in 1975 from California. He worked in road construction and was a Baptist. He is survived by two sisters, Annie M. Sampler of Weatherford and Barbara T. Parnell of Duncanville. Claud Leslie Arnold CHILDRESS - Claud Leslie Arnold, 91, died Thursday, Feb. 4, 1999. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Hulver Cemetery in Hall County with the Rev. Kerry Wood, music minister of First Baptist Church of Childress, officiating. Arrangements are by Johnson Funeral Home. Mr. Arnold was born in Waurika in Indian Territory and was a longtime Estelline resident. He was a retired farmer. He married Virgie Ola Tyner in 1927 at Estelline. He was preceded in death by his wife and by a daughter, Erma Jean, in 1928. Survivors include a daughter, Nelda Lambert of Childress; two grandsons; and two great-grandchildren. Emma Louise Kline Collins SPEARMAN - Emma Louise Kline Collins, 83, died Thursday, Feb. 4, 1999. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ken Cole, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Hansford Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman. Mrs. Collins was born in Topeka, Kan., and had lived in Spearman for 39 years. In 1996, she moved from Satanta, Kan., to Amarillo. In 1977, Mrs. Collins was named Spearman Chamber of Commerce Women's Division Member of the Year. She was employed as beautician and clerk. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and Golden Spread Senior Citizens, both in Spearman. She married E.L. "Roy" Collins in 1942 at Cottonwood Falls. He died in 1988. Survivors include two sons, David Collins of Spearman and Dan Collins of Groesbeck; a daughter, Becky Pittman of Amarillo; a sister, Naomi Rose of Emporia, Kan.; a brother, Fred B. Kline of Emporia; five grandchildren; and a greatgrandchild. The family suggests memorials be to hospice or a favorite charity. Lloyd Leland Foster DUMAS - Lloyd Leland Foster, 79, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 1999. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Morrison Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel with the Rev. David Carrington, pastor of United Pentecostal Church, officiating. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Holdenville Cemetery in Holdenville, Okla. Mr. Foster was born in Sasakwa, Okla., and had been a Dumas resident for 51 years. In 1971, he retired after 23 years as a smelter for American Zinc. He married Dorthy Buttler in 1950. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruby Tilley Shillings, in 1992. Survivors include his wife; a son, Jerry "Junior" Tilley of Shattuck, Okla.; three sisters, Opal Jenkins and Pauline Lollar, both of Wewoka, Okla., and Gladys Kirkland of Okmulgee, Okla.; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari. Mrs. Turnbow was born in Dexter and moved to Logan 31/2 years ago. She was a retired executive secretary working for many years with Plains Electric Co. Survivors include her husband, Charlie; a son, Chuck Turnbow of Amarillo; a brother, Don Crisp of Truth or Consequences; a sister, Freda Wall of Portales; and two grandchildren. The body will be available for viewing at the funeral home until service time. Joyce Woodrow TUCUMCARI, N.M. - Joyce Woodrow, 68, died Monday, Feb. 1, 1999. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today in Oakwood Cemetery at Waco, Texas. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home. Mrs. Woodrow was born in Waco and had lived in Tucumcari since 1983. She was a homemaker and was active in the Pioneer Senior Citizens, the Elk Does Drove and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Lee Woodrow, in 1986. Survivors include a son, Jeff Woodrow of Sweetwater, Texas; a daughter, Rhonda Woodrow of Las Vegas, N.M.; and two grandchildren. She attended the First Baptist Church and was a member of the Elk Does Drove. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Fleming, in 1982. Mrs. McDaris was born in Stone County, Mo., and moved to Clovis five years ago from Manteca, Calif. She was a housewife. Vannoy HOUSTON - Terry K. Vannoy, 51, died Thursday, Feb. 4, 1999. Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in St. Luke's United Methodist Church Chapel with the Rev. Ron R. Dr. R. Luther Kirk LUBBOCK - Dr. R. Luther Kirk, 97, died Thursday, Feb. 4, 1999. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Luke's United Methodist Church with the Rev. Elton Wyatt and the Rev. Johnny Williams officiating. Private family burial will be under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home of Lubbock. Dr. Kirk was born in Indian Territory. For 40 years, he pastored in Blackwell, Rochester, Munday, Slaton, Midland, San Jacinto in Amarillo, Hamlin and was the first pastor of St. John's Methodist Church. He served as district superintendent in the Northwest Conference of the Methodist Church in Perryton, Plainview and Pampa. He received an honorary doctorate from McMurry University. He married Edwyna West in 1923 at Perryton. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Patsy Edens of Lubbock and Mary Tom Tooley of Plainview; a son, R.L. Kirk of Amarillo; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. They suggest memorials be to St. Luke's United Methodist Church. Amarillo Lynne Michelle Goddard Lynne Michelle Goddard, 39, a former Amarillo resident, died Friday, Jan. 29, 1999, at Oklahoma City. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Alanreed Cemetery at Alanreed. Arrangements are by Lamb Funeral Home of McLean. Ms. Goddard was born in Borger and moved to Amarillo as a child and attended public schools. She moved to Oklahoma City in the early 1980s. She was a homemaker and a surgical technician. Ms. Goddard was a past president and a longtime supporter of the Oklahoma Lupus Association. Survivors include her children, Emily Goddard and Timothy Goddard, both of the home; her mother, Rita Weldon of Oklahoma City; and her grandfather, Olin Weldon of Alanreed. The family requests memorials be to a health education and support group of your choice. William Dow Watson William "Billy" Dow Watson, 37, a former Amarillo resident, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 1999. No services are scheduled. Cremation was handled by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Watson was born in Dodge City, Kan., and had lived in Amarillo most of his life. He graduated from Canyon High School in 1981. He was a Navy veteran and moved to Bakersfield, Calif., in 1993. Survivors include his mother, Joyce Elliott, and stepfather, Carmen Elliott, of Amarillo; a brother, Brad Watson of Amarillo; two sisters, Shannon Walker of Avon Lake, Ohio, and Sydna Hand of Bakersfield; and his grandmother, June Wheeler of Miami, Texas. Mr. Stewart was born in Turkey. He married Tiny Thompson in 1938 at Matador. He was a landlord in Amarillo. She was a cosmologist and hair stylist in Amarillo for 22 years and also was an artist. She was a member of Westview Christian Church. She married Lynn Burchfield in 1979 in Amarillo. Survivors include her husband; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Lee Trimble of Amarillo; two brothers, David Allen Trimble and Dallas Lee Trimble, both of Amarillo; and a sister, Carmen Keesee of Amarillo. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1979 and a daughter, Dolores Adams. Survivors include his wife; a son, James Fuller of Amarillo; three daughters, Stacey Fuller, Tracey Fuller and Casey Fuller, all of Amarillo; his mother, Billye Fuller of Amarillo; and a brother, Kenneth W. Mr. Hudson was born in Perryton and moved to Canyon in 1979 where he attended Canyon Junior High School. In 1988, he graduated from Balko High School in Balko, Okla., then attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University. In 1990, he moved to Oklahoma City where he was employed in the restaurant business. Survivors include his mother, Barbara Hudson of Amarillo; his father and stepmother, Stanley and Paullette Brower of San Antonio; a sister, Stacy Quackenbush of Amarillo; and his grandparents, Berneta Brower of Balko and L.S. and Anita DeBord of Stratford.
