In 1993, he retired after 32 years with the Amarillo Police Department. Survivors include two daughters, Tanya Bowling of Amarillo and Kimberly Cleveland of Krum; a son, Michael Dickerson of Amarillo; two sisters, Lorene Carter of Fritch and Roberta Stewart of Amarillo; and five grandchildren. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mrs. Lincycomb was born in Roswell, N.M., and graduated from Amarillo High School in 1970. For 23 years, she was employed as supervisor/coordinator by the city of Amarillo. She was a member of Southwest Baptist Church and Panhandle Human Resources Association. She married Jesse Lincycomb in 1969 at Amarillo. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Denise Stephenson of Canyon; a sister, Shirley Scholz of Ransom Canyon; and a brother, Kenneth Painter of Plano. She was employed as a real estate lease administrator by Hastings. She married Larry Lincycomb in 1987 at Amarillo. Mrs. Andrade was born in Hondo and graduated from high school in Muleshoe. She lived in Amarillo for 18 years, where she was a homemaker and volunteer for Meals on Wheels and St. Mary's Catholic School. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She married Mike Andrade in 1982 at Amarillo. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Julia Andrade of the home; a son, Bubba Andrade of the home; a stepson, T.J. In 1993, she retired from the linens department of Sakowitz and Dunlaps. She was a homemaker and member of Coulter Road Baptist Church. She married Robert Burns in 1949 at Tulsa. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Terry Burns of Canyon and Don Burns of Amarillo; a brother, Doug Crook of Rosebud; two sisters, Ethel Burks and Janie Mae McDonald, both of Fort Worth; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Qualls was born in Davis, Okla., and lived in Amarillo for most of her life. She retired in 1987 as a sales clerk from Anthony's and was a Methodist. She married S.L. Qualls in 1935 at Childress. He died in 1975. Survivors include two daughters, Lynda Harrison and Betty Hart, both of Amarillo; a sister, Florence Beech of Sentinel, Okla.; six grandchildren; and 12 greatgrandchildren. Kansas William Braniff Munro LIBERAL, Kan. - William "Bill" Braniff Munro, 72, died Sunday, July 4, 1999, in Amarillo. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Gospel of Grace Church in Hooker, Okla., with the Rev. Gary Wiens officiating. Burial will be in Hooker Cemetery by Roberts Brothers Funeral Home of Hooker. Mr. Munro was born in Devils Lake, N.D., and attended schools in Crary, N.D. He joined the Army in 1944, serving in World War II and the Korean War, where he was wounded and received an honorable discharge in 1954. He married Ellen Kennedy in 1961 at Crookston, Minn. They moved to Hooker in 1961 and to Liberal in 1964, where he worked for 17 years at USD 480. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3166 in Liberal. Survivors include his wife; six daughters, LaNora Stiles of Shorewood, Ill., Teresa Harrison, Tammie Heathman and Michelle Munro, all of Liberal, Brenda Osborne of Elkhart, and Phylis Gebhard of Amarillo; three sisters, Florence Finner of Devils Lake, Anne Winnigge of Tooele, Utah, and Renee Olson of Yakima, Wash.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. "Birddog" Roberts, 72, died Wednesday, July 7, 1999. In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Robert's body was donated to Texas Tech Medical School. There will be no services. Arrangements were by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis. Mr. Roberts was born and grew up in Idalou, Texas. He graduated from Lubbock, Texas, High School in 1944. During high school, he worked for Dr. Popejoy, a veterinarian. He was honorably discharged in 1946 from the Signal Corp in Washington, D.C. Mr. Roberts then attended photography school in Lubbock and worked for Sam Roberts Studio. He continued his photography career after moving to Clovis in 1947 where he worked for Myrtle's Studio. In 1989, he retired as a letter carrier from the United States Postal Service after 30 years of service. His second marriage was to Claire Olsson in 1952. In 1944, he married Sara G. Papack at Levelland. They were later divorced. Survivors include his wife; a son, Richard Roberts of New Port Richey, Fla.; three daughters, Laura Yamase of Killeen, Texas, Karen Bass of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Carla Evans of Hurst, Texas; and nine grandchildren. Oklahoma Anglee Gleaves SAYRE, Okla. - Anglee "Angie" Gleaves, 76, died Tuesday, July 6, 1999. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Rose Chapel with David Worsham and Tom Harguess officiating. Burial will be in Sayre-Doxey Cemetery by Rose Chapel Funeral Service. Mrs. Gleaves was born in Marriana, Ark., and moved to Elk City in 1930. The family later moved to the Grimes and Reydon communities. She attended school in Rankin, Grimes, Emerson and Cheyenne in 1938. With her husband, Mrs. Gleaves lived in Texas, Sunny Point and the Dempsey community. They also lived in Reed and Berlin and moved to Sayre in 1986. In 1988, she retired after 18 years with Hodges Nursing Home. After her retirement, Mrs. Gleaves provided private nursing care. She was a member of the Elk City Bible Baptist Church and the Sayre AARP. She married Glen William Gleaves in 1940 south of Cheyenne. She was preceded in death by her husband and an infant daughter, Ashely Renee Gleaves. Survivors include a daughter, Glenda Whinery of Elk City; three sons, Al Gleaves of Canyon, Texas, Wayne Gleaves of Hobbs, N.M., and Lee Gleaves of Lawton; a sister, Bertha Simpson of McLean, Texas; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and special friends, Luedeen Ellison and Dottie Criswell. John Lavin Hall FORGAN, Okla. - John Lavin Hall, 73, died Tuesday, July 6, 1999. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Forgan First Baptist Church with Richard Lunsford officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Clearlake by Clark Funeral Service of Beaver. Mr. Hall was born in Beaver County. He was a sheet-metal worker and supervisor for Beech Aircraft. He was a former member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He married Alice Arminda Freeman in 1948 at Spearman, Texas. Survivors include his wife; five sons, Robert Wayne Hall of Augusta, Kan., Lavin Leroy Hall of Beaver, Terry John Hall of Alva, Dennis Lee Hall of Forgan and Alan Dade Hall of Enid; a sister, Myra Werner of Guymon; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Elsewhere Roy Edward Crane HERNANDO, Fla. - Roy Edward Crane, 78, a former Clovis, N.M., resident, died Sunday, June 30, 1999. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Mission Garden of Memories at Clovis. Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis. Mr. Crane was born in Brookfield, Mo. He graduated from Lew Wallace High School at Gary, Ind. He was a World War II veteran of the European Campaign, 2nd Armored Division. While living in Gary, he was a E.J. & E. Railroad fireman then was on the Santa Fe Railway bridge and construction crew while living in Clovis. He retired from the railroad, Montgomery Ward and Clovis Glass Co. He was a resident of Clovis for 43 years and a member of First Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Francis "Wanda" Rutledge. Survivors include his wife, Maerose Whalley of the home; a son, Terry Lee Crane of Clovis; a daughter, Jerry Lynn Crane Carpenter of Porterville, Calif.; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Area Billy Jack Hiltbrunner Billy Jack Hiltbrunner, 49, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, July 6, 1999. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Eleventh Street Baptist Church in Shamrock with the Rev. Alan Burkhalter and the Rev. Dale Dunn, both of Amarillo, officiating. Burial will be in Shamrock Cemetery by Wright Funeral Directors of Shamrock. Mr. Hiltbrunner was born in Wheeler and grew up in Shamrock. He moved to Amarillo in 1969. For the past five years, he was a carpenter for the Ritter Co. Prior to that, he was employed by the Harrington Station Project in Amarillo and the Tolk Station in Earth. One of Mr. Hiltbrunner's poems was recently published by the International Library of Poetry. He was a member of Lamount Drive Baptist Church in Amarillo. Survivors include a daughter, Tara Rana Hiltbrunner of Amarillo; his mother, Fern Hiltbrunner of Shamrock; three brothers, Boyce Hiltbrunner of Amarillo, Boyd Hiltbrunner of Shamrock and Donnal Hiltbrunner of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and a sister, Patricia Thompson of Amarillo. Andres Gonzales MULESHOE - Andres Gonzales, 78, died Tuesday, July 6, 1999. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today in Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Gonzales was born in Runge and moved to Muleshoe in 1952 from Kenedy. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Muleshoe. For more than 30 years, he was employed by Stan Barrett Produce Co. He married Monica Bryan in 1942 at Kenedy. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Janie Martinez, in 1998. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Andrew Gonzales Jr. of El Paso and Sammy Gonzales of Muleshoe; three daughters, Dora Triana, Aliesa White and Nora Gauna, all of Muleshoe; a sister, Dora Salinas of Corpus Christi; a brother, Eugene Gonzales of Karnes City; 14 grandchildren; and 111 great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Hass Funeral Home of Dalhart. Mrs. McCown was born in Oklahoma and moved to Dalhart in the 1950s. She worked as a babysitter and waitress for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband. Survivors include two sisters, Ann Garrison of Dalhart and Pearl King of New Boston and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill Sirmans CANADIAN - Bill Sirmans, 64, died Tuesday, July 6, 1999. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in First Christian Church with the Rev. Johnny Crawford officiating. Burial will be in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery by Stickley-Hill Funeral Directors of Canadian. Mr. Sirmans was born in McAlister, Okla. He lived throughout the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles before moving to Canadian in 1967 from Pampa. He was the warehouse manager for Dresser Magcobar Industries for 18 years. In 1987, Mr. Sirmans retired from the oilfield. He was a volunteer in distributing commodities and a member of First Christian Church and the Canadian Riding Club. He married Verna Dean Campbell in 1954 at Pampa. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1997 and by a son, David Bruce Sirmans, in 1980. Survivors include two sons, Michael Sirmans of Canadian and Robert Sirmans of Midlothian; a daughter, Christy Gallagher of Canadian; a sister, Mary Hughes of Canadian; two brothers, John Sirmans of New Mexico and Bobby Sirmans of Florida; six grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren. In 1959, she moved to Midland where she was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She married Adolph Jonathan Christian "Zeke" Sieker in 1941 at Ellinwood, Kan. He died in 1965. Survivors include two sons, A.J. Sieker of Canadian and Michael Jon Sieker of LaPort; two brothers, John Tribbey of Rogers, Ark., and Lt. Col. Ivan Tribbey, ret., of San Antonio; a sister, Terry Muir of Glendale, Ariz.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Viewing will be until 3 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Floydada. Burial will be in Floydada Cemetery. Mr. Gonzales was born in Taylor and attended Clewiston High School in Florida. A resident of Floydada, he was a farmer who had lived most of his life in Florida. He married Cathy Garcia in 1982 at Florida. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Nick Garcia, Juan Gonzales Jr. and Peter Anthony Gonzales, all of Floydada; a daughter, Senaida Gonzales of Floydada; his parents, Guadalupe and Maria Gonzales Sr.; four brothers, Guadalupe Gonzales Jr., Fidencio Gonzales, Encarnacion Gonzales, all of Florida, and Pablo Gonzales of Plainview; seven sisters, Blanco Estella Carrizales, Adela Nunez, Rosie Gonzales, Maria Torres, Angelita Gonzales, Delores Gonzales, all of Florida, and JoAnn Gonzales of Brownsville. Louis Amick PLAINVIEW - Louis Amick, 85, died Tuesday, July 6, 1999. Services will be at 11 a.m. today in First Baptist Church Chapel with Dr. Travis Hart, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Lemons Funeral Home of Plainview. Mr. Amick was born in Whiteflat and grew up in Flomot where he graduated from high school. During World War II, he served with the Ninth Air Force Medium Bomb Group in the European theater. His unit received a Presidential Citation and he received a Bronze Star, six Battle Stars and three Oak Leaf Clusters. After returning to Flomot, Mr. Amick was a mechanic for the John Deere dealer. In 1954, he moved to Plainview where he retired in 1984 as parts manager for Texas Farm Machinery. He was a Mason and active in First Baptist, where he served as a deacon and taught children and adult Sunday School classes. He married Martha Wright in 1959 at Plainview. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Wynette Kent of Dallas and Meredith Harrison of Lubbock; a brother, Roy Amick of Pueblo, Colo.; two sisters, Juanita Amonett of Lamesa and Bobbie Hill of Tulia; and five grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to First Baptist Church or a favorite charity. Stan Barrett MULESHOE - Stan Barrett, 79, died Tuesday, July 6, 1999. Services are at 11 a.m. Friday in First United Methodist Church with Dr. Stacy Conner, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Muleshoe Memorial Park Cemetery by Ellis Funeral Home of Muleshoe. Mr. Barrett was born in Wendell, Idaho, and moved to Muleshoe in 1955 from Hereford. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. A farmer, he owned and operated Barrett Produce of Muleshoe. In 1992, Mr. Barrett was inducted into the Texas Citrus and Vegetable Association Hall of Fame. He helped develop the Red Norland Potato variety. He also was a director of the Texas Citrus and Vegetable Association. He married Rheba Platts in 1941 at Pocatello, Idaho. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Pat King and Lynne Box, both of Muleshoe; a brother, Frank Barrett of Hereford; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
