He married Ida Gutierrez in 1971 at Clovis. He was preceded in death by a son, Isidro Garcia, in 1997. She graduated as valedictorian of the 1983 class at Shawnee High School and received a bachelor's degree with distinction from the University of Oklahoma in 1986. She was a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority, Mortar Board, and Phi Eta Sigma and Alpha Lamda Delta honor societies. She attended the University of Oklahoma Law School where she was a member of the Law Review, Phi Delta Phi scholastic legal fraternity, and Dean's Honor Roll. After receiving her Juris Doctorate in 1988, she earned a master's degree in microbiology and immunology in 1992 from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. She passed the bar exams in Oklahoma and New Mexico. She was an associate patent attorney with the firm of Peacock, Myers & Admas, P.C. in Albuquerque. Survivors include her husband, Dr. Timothy C. Mrs. Krienke was born in Enid. She graduated from Enid High School in 1936. She earned a registered nursing degree in 1940 from St. Mary's Nursing School. During World War II, she served as a nurse on construction projects at Madill and Okmulgee. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and L.W.M.L. She married Gustav E. Krienke in 1947 at Enid. They moved to Follett, Texas, where they farmed for 27 years. They moved back to Enid in 1975. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Phyllis. She received a bachelor of arts degree from San Marcos State College and taught school in rural and city schools at Pampa. She married Howard M. Cameron, a field representative for the Bureau of Indian Affairs, in Alaska. They taught schools for Eskimos, Aleuts and Indians. She and her husband were U.S. spotters for enemy Japanese ships and planes in the Bering Strait during World War II. She earned a master's degree from the University of Kansas at age 65. She published a book "Children of the Tundra" in 1963. She retired after 25 years of teaching and moved to De Soto. After the death of her husband in 1982, she returned to Amarillo. She had been a member of San Jacinto Baptist Church in Amarillo since 1982. Survivors include two sisters, Viola Mobley of Amarillo and Lora Tunnell of Stanton; and two brothers, Raleigh Bratton of Pearland and Edmond Bratton of McKinney. Stancell, 77, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 1999. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Muleshoe Church of Christ with Harry Riggs, minister, and Sam Billingsley, minister of Lariat Church of Christ at Lariat, officiating. Arrangements are by Ellis Funeral Home. Mr. Stancell was born in Stigler, Okla. He moved from Stigler to the Bailey County area in 1925 with his family. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a farmer and a carpenter. He was a member of the Muleshoe Church of Christ and the church's "55 and Alive" group. He married La Nell Stancell in 1944 at Garden City, Kan. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Gary N. Stancell of Muleshoe and Danny L. Mr. Mejia was born in Chihuahua, Mexico. He moved to Memphis 25 years ago from Bovina. He was a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista Mexicana in Memphis. He married Patsy Villafranco in 1952 at Littlefield. He entered the ministry at the age of 20 and served as a Baptist minister for 46 years. He had served as a pastor in Bovina, Seagraves, Wellington, Littlefield, Crosbyton, Estelline and Memphis. He was involved in evangelical work in Kansas, Arkansas, Tennessee, South Texas, New Mexico, California, North Carolina and northern Mexico. Survivors include his wife; five sons, Louis Mejia of San Angelo, Isaiah Mejia of Las Vegas, Porfirio Mejia Jr. of Atlanta, Adam Mejia of Bovina and Daniel Mejia of Amarillo; seven daughters, Esther Steelman of Bovina, Diana Luna of Clute, Delilah Lemmons, Sandra Mejia and Naomi Mejia, all of Fort Worth, Gilda Garner of Bovina and Cindy Lewis of Weisbaden, Germany; 23 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
