Dean Wynn, associate minister of St. Stephen United Methodist Church, officiating. Entombment will be in Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Mr. West was born in Woodward, Okla., and moved to Amarillo in 1989 from Borger. He was a World War II veteran, stationed in New Guinea and the Philippines with the Navy Seabees. He retired in 1980 as a leadman for City Service Natural Gas. He was past president of the Borger Evening Lions Club. He was a member of St. Stephen United Methodist Church. He married Joyce Baker in 1939 at Woodward, Okla. Survivors include his wife; and two brothers, Harold A. West of Sacramento, Calif., and Louis A. West of Woodward, Okla. Andrews, 83, of Amarillo, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 1999. Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Monday in Llano Cemetery with the Rev. Claud Tugwell, retired Baptist minister, officiating. He retired from the Air Force. He was a Baptist. He married Ruth Andrews in 1943 at Greensboro, N.C. She died in 1994. Survivors include three sons, Russell L. Andrews of the home, William "Chip" Andrews of Amarillo and Mark S. Andrews of Plano; a daughter, Judy Simmons of Gastonia, N.C.; three sisters, Virginia Holman and Martha Foley, both of Fort Deposit, Ala., and Jean Adams of Dothan, Ala.; and three grandchildren. Amarillo Daily News, Dec. 14, 1999 Jimmie D. Moreland Jimmie D. Moreland, 70, of Amarillo, died Friday, Dec. 10, 1999. No services are scheduled. Cremation and arrangements were handled by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Moreland was born in Paducah, and had lived in Amarillo the past 30 years. He was a Navy veteran. He had been a newscaster for KGNC for 16 years and was the owner of Pueblo Blue Jewelry Shop. He retired from the First National Bank as a security officer in 1994. He was a member of Southwest Church of Christ, the Fine Arts Association, National Archaeological Society and the Air and Space Museum. Survivors include a daughter, April Clements of Venice, Calif.; two sons, Steve Moreland of Clovis, N.M., and Web Moreland of Carlsbad, N.M.; a brother, E.J. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1995 and by two daughters, Betty Gentry in 1987 and Susie Roper in 1998. Mr. Hallford was born in Memphis, Texas and moved to Portales in 1943. He farmed west of Portales from 1947 until 1975 except from 1952 until 1956, when he served in the Air Force. Mr. Hallford was the service manager and salesman at the John Deere dealership from 1980 until 1987. In 1987, he opened Hallford Sales, Inc. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9515 in Portales. He married Joyce Goyne in 1947 at Portales. Burial was in Northlawn Memorial Gardens by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mrs. McCullough, born in Sentinel, Okla., was a former Amarillo and longtime Hereford resident, before moving to Dumas in 1976. She was a homemaker and attended First Street Church of Christ. She married Ray McCullough in 1930 at Sentinel. He died in 1997. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Brothers, in 1977. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Lou Armstrong of Dumas; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He owned and operated Medina Snow Cones in Hereford. He married Angie Lopez in 1949 at Chihuahua. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ramon Medina Jr. and George Medina, both of Hereford; three daughters, Lucy Cupell of Amarillo and Mary Lou Zambrano and Olga Zambrano, both of Hereford; two sisters, Maria Calzadiuas and Nicole Saenz, both of Chihuahua; 22 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was a 1941 graduate of Pampa High School and attended Texas Tech University. In 1944, he joined the Army where he served with the 98th Headquarters Battery. He received his honorable discharge in 1945. Mr. Stockstill owned Heatou Cattle Co., and was involved in farming and ranching. He was a member of the American Cutting Horse Association and owned quarter horses. He married Jackie Stockstill in 1991 at Miami. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Nancy Cervi of Roggen, Colo., and Mary Ann Gill of Miami; a sister, Margaret Barnett of Fort Worth; two stepdaughters, Cindy Pruitt and Sherry Robertson, both of Shamrock; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Sunset Terrace Cemetery in Farwell by Ellis Funeral Home of Muleshoe. Mrs. Goldsmith was born in Wise County and moved to Farwell in 1925. Since 1929, she had been a member of the Church of Christ. She was a homemaker. She married Noble Henry Goldsmith in 1933 at Clovis, N.M. She was preceded in death by a son, Jack Goldsmith, in 1988. Survivors include two sons, Doyle Goldsmith of Tulsa and Dan Goldsmith of Dimmitt; five daughters, Delores Meeks of Texico, N.M., Iris Smith of Killeen, Vicki Hackney of Cleburne, Jo Dell Capps of Panhandle and Gayla Beth Parker of Ben Wheeler; two half-sisters, Bertha Mae Johnson and Bernice, both of Wichita Falls; 22 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a great-greatgrandchild. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Christian Church with Roy Barringer, former minister, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park by Foskey-Lilley-McGill Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Mrs. Wooten was born in Frederick, Okla., and graduated from Erick High School in 1925. After passing her teacher's exam, she began teaching in rural school in Beckham County, Okla. She earned her bachelor's degree in 1954 in Weatherford, Okla. In 1946, she moved to Dimmitt where she taught in the public schools. She moved to Vinita, Okla., in 1956 and taught schools in Welch. In 1969, she returned to Dimmitt. She was a member of First Christian Church. She married Richard Wooten in 1940 at Beckham County. He died in January. Survivors include a niece, Bobbie Ruth Eubanks of Afton, Okla.; two sisters, Ruth MacKinlay of Drumheller, Alberta, Canada and Velma Roach of Trochu, Alberta; and two brothers, Leroy Roach of Trochu and Bill Roach of Sylvan Lake, Canada.
