Born in Piedmont, Calif, Mrs. Hartsough graduated from the University of California at Berkley in 1934. She lived in Orinda, Calif., and Tiburon, Calif., before moving to Amarillo three years ago. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Hartsough, in 1978. Survivors include a daughter, Patty Schneider of Amarillo; a son, Ron Hartsough of Piedmont; a sister, Patricia C. Nickelsen of Kailua, Hawaii; and two grandchildren. Emily Rickman Emily Rickman, 74, formerly of Amarillo, died Thursday, May 13, 1999, in Fort Worth. Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday in Rector Funeral Home Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St., with Glenn Walton, Church of Christ minister, officiating. Burial was in in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Rickman was born in Soper, Okla. She lived in Amarillo for 17 years before moving to Fort Worth 32 years ago and marrying Garland Rickman there. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Cheryl Cottrell of Midland; two sisters, Lorene Weaver of Portland, Ore., and Pauline Starks of Amarillo; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She had been on the Walk to Emmaus and was a member of Phoenix Singles Ministry, serving as Social Committee Chair. She also attended leadership training as a member of the Stephen Ministry. She married Daniel Ochoa in 1979 at Vernon. Mrs. Lesher was born in Clovis, where she lived for all of her life. Mrs. Underwood was born in Keller, where she graduated from high school. For a short time, she lived in Vernon, Littlefield, and Clovis, N.M. She moved to Petersburg in 1928, where she taught school after obtaining a teaching certificate and teaching in Oklaunion. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Petersburg and moved to Huntsville in 1993. She married K.V. "Van" Underwood in 1925 at Chillicothe. He died in 1982. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Ken Underwood and Kenneth R. Underwood. Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Main of Onalaska; two brothers, J.E. He graduated from Garland High School and earned a bachelor's degree in business from Southern Methodist University. He married Aline Talley in 1939 at Garland. He was comptroller for Mustang Rebuilders in Garland for many years. He also had served on the building and planning committee of Garland Memorial Hospital. He was a Rotarian and a member of the Rotary Chorus of Dallas. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Garland, where he taught junior boys' Sunday school class for more than 20 years. He also was a deacon emeritus and had served as a greeter and finance committee member for many years. Mr. Robinson moved to Wellington in 1996 to be near family. Survivors include his wife; a son, Richard Robinson of Kenedy; a daughter, Mary Johnson of Wellington; and four grandchildren. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Hass Funeral Home. Mr. Goldsmith was born in Clovis, N.M., and grew up in Texico, N.M. For 21 years, he lived in Dimmitt, where he was active with baseball, having coached every league and serving as president of the Babe Ruth league for many years. He lived in Hartley and moved to Dalhart in 1992. He was a member of Northside Church of Christ in Dimmitt. He married Clara Halsell in 1953 at Farwell. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Charlotte Eudy of Dumas and D'Wan Elam and Kathy Black, both of Dalhart; two sons, Keith Goldsmith and Brice Goldsmith, both of Dalhart; three brothers, Bob Goldsmith of Show Low, Ariz., Eddie Goldsmith of Menomonie, Wis., and Teddie Goldsmith of Hereford; a sister, Karen Kelley of Gruver; and nine grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to St. Jude's Trail Ride, Dalhart Youth Baseball Association and XIT Rangers Playdays. John Clements DALHART - John "Jasper" Clements, 86, died Saturday, May 15, 1999. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Memorial Park Cemetery by Hass Funeral Home. Mr. Clements was born in Leah Lake and worked for many years at Phillips 66 Chemical in Etter. After retirement, he worked in TV repair. He married Myrtle Lavinia Kalm in 1938 at Clayton, N.M. Survivors include a son, Harlies Clements of Dalhart; two daughters, Pat Peyton of Amarillo and Lavinia Peters of Marlow, Okla.; two sisters, Ruby McCown and Jenny Cantrell, both of Dalhart; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
