He then settled in Clovis. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. He married Willie Mae Jouett in 1955 at Clovis. She died in 1989. He was a retired Naval petty officer with 20 years of active service and two years in the Naval Reserve. Savage, 78, formerly of Amarillo and Garland, died Thursday, Oct. 14, 1999. Mr. Savage was born in Bryan County, Okla. He married Dorothy Capps in 1941 at Amarillo. He was a veteran of World War II. He lived in Amarillo from 1940 to 1977 and then moved to Garland, where he lived until 1998. For the past year, he lived in Lubbock. He retired from Dorchester Gas Producing Company. He was a member of the Church of Christ and had worked with the Boy Scouts of America and Kids, Inc. in Amarillo. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Kay Reeve of La Place, La.; three sons, Lewis Savage of Dallas, James Savage of Amarillo and David Savage of Lubbock; a sister, Ferne Hooper of Fritch; and seven grandchildren. Graveside services will be at noon Wednesday in Olton Cemetery at Olton. Arrangements are by Vaughan's Funeral Home of Boerne. Mr. Ball was born in Elmore City, Okla. In 1941, he was ordained as a minister by the Assemblies of God and later served as C.A. President of the West Texas District for two years. In Texas, his 57year ministry included Denver City, Pecos, Dalhart, and Boerne. In Oklahoma he pastored in Ninecah, Elm Grove, Girard and Stillwater. For 13 years, he pastored in Central Assembly of God Church at Peoria, Ill. His final pastorate was at Eureka, Ill. He married Johnnie Syble Hart in 1941. She attended Sophie Newcomb College of Tulane University at New Orleans, where she graduated in 1932. She received a master's degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1933 and was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She was elected to the Mortar Board at the University of Texas. She married Fenner Brown Baker Jr., in 1946 at Fort Smith. He died in 1970. Mr. Brain was born in Dallas and received his master's degree from the University of Texas. In 1993, he moved from San Antonio to Amarillo where he retired as chief environmental scientist for Pantex in 1997. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. He married Faye Love in 1975 at Beeville. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1997 and by a daughter, Katherine "Katy" Temple Brain, in 1996. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Fairlawn Cemetery in Oklahoma City. Memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Old Cathedral with the Rev. Bruce Natsuhara, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mrs. Jackson was born in Oklahoma City. She was a comptometer operator for Oklahoma Transportation and a member of St. Joseph Old Cathedral. She is survived by a sister, Mary T. Price of Amarillo. The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Memory Gardens Mausoleum with the Rev. Terry Burke officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia. Survivors include his parents; his sister, Giana Jaramillo of Raton, N.M.; his grandparents, John and Yoly Nizza of San Antonio, and Terri Nizza and Dorothy Encinias, both of Amarillo; his greatgrandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Keahey of Amarillo, and Joyce Nabors and Dodie Nizza, both of Moore, Okla.
