Mr. Hollinger was born and raised in Amarillo. He was a 1972 graduate of Tascosa High School and was offered a baseball scholarship to Panhandle State University. After graduation, he was in a diving accident and was left a quadriplegic. Mr. Hollinger graduated from Texas A&I University. He was a licensed nursing home administrator and a member of Paramount Baptist Church. Survivors include his father, Lewis H. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1988 and a son, Kent Bridges, in 1993. Lyle Russell Bliss Lyle Russell Bliss, 83, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, April 14, 1999. He was a member of the Amarillo Senior Citizens and of First Church of the Nazarene. He married Esther Scott in 1956 in Wellington. He retired as a security guard from Pantex in 1984 and served with the Army Air Corps. during World War II. He received both the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He was preceded in death by a son, Craig Thrash, in 1988. He married Vera Cawvey in 1984 in Clovis, N.M. Mr. Glasco was born in Piedmont, Kan. and moved to Amarillo in 1944 from Wichita, Kan. He retired from International Harvester in 1970 as a warehouse foreman. He was a coach and umpire for the YMCA and a member of Trinity Methodist Church. He married Virginia Moore in 1936 in Wichita. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Gary Lee Glasco of Bull Head City, Ariz., and Duane Edward Glasco of Amarillo; five grandchildren; seven greatgrandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Oklahoma Ruth Theresa Killins-Sidders SHATTUCK, Okla. - Ruth Theresa Killins-Sidders, 94, died Friday, April 16, 1999, in Amarillo. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Platte officiating. Burial will be in Shattuck Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Sidders was born in Duncan, Indian Territory, and moved to a homestead near Taiban, N.M., in 1909. She moved to Amarillo, where she graduated from Amarillo High School in 1924 and in 1934 began working for the Newman Clinic in Shattuck, where she spent the next 12 years. She was a member of the Shattuck Garden Club and of the Ornithological Society, for which she wrote articles about the Golden Eagle on the Baysinger Ranch, north of Shattuck. Her first husband, Frank W. Killins, died in 1934. She married Lloyd Sidders in 1940. He died in 1978. Survivors include two sons, Frank Killins of Amarillo and Charles R. Killins of Santa Fe, N.M., and grandson Tom Kenney of Amarillo; a daughter, Carroll Ashford of Wichita, Kan.; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Smith was born and raised in Dumas where he lived for most of his life. He attended Dumas schools and was a truck driver. Jim Sinyard, associate pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Mr. Donnell was born in Crutcher, Mo. He retired after 25 years as a B-52 airplane mechanic at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City. In 1992, he moved from Ardmore, Okla., to Pampa where he was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by two sons, Orville Donnell in 1991 and Robert "Bob" Donnell in 1997. Survivors include a daughter, Beverly Clark of Pampa; a son, Lewis Donnell of Oklahoma City; a brother, Tom Donnell of Bartlesville, Okla.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Ray Gene Anderson, of Ardmore. Mrs. King was born in Colorado City and moved to Muleshoe from Lubbock in 1946. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and Eastern Star. In 1989, she retired from Western 66 Gas and Butane Co. She married Robert King at Colorado City. He died in 1959. Mrs. Cain was born in Amarillo, was a 1974 graduate of Caprock High School and had lived in Hartley County for the past four years. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Dumas. She married Dudley Cain in 1996 in Dumas. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Candice Albright of Amarillo; a son, Mathew Albright of Amarillo; a stepdaughter, Charisa Dawn Cain of Lubbock; a stepson, Damon Lee Cain of Phoenix; and a sister, Nancy Freigo of Abilene. Neely Landrum assisting. Burial will be in Rowe Cemetery in Hedley by Memphis Funeral Home. Mr. Woodard was born in Grapeland and had lived in Memphis for 32 years. He had been employed with Memphis Glass and Supply for 26 years and was a member of Travis Baptist Church. He married Patsy Petty in 1956 in Memphis. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ricky Woodard of Garland and Glen Allen Woodard, of Memphis; two daughters, Sheri Lyn Richards of Tennessee and Vicki Joyce King of Durham, N.C.; two brothers, Toby Woodard of Hedley and Johnny Woodard of Lefors; a sister, Jeneda Gay of Lefors; and three grandchildren. Richard Vallance MEMPHIS - Richard "Dick" Vallance, 84, died Friday, April 16, 1999. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. O.K. Bowen officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery by Memphis Funeral Home. Mr. Vallance was born in Hall County and had lived in Memphis for the past 12 years. He was a grocery retail manager, operating family grocery stores in Hedley, Wellington and Clarendon. He served in the Army during World War II and was a member of Helping Hands, the American Legion and of the First Baptist Church in Memphis. He married Ardis Dennis in 1935 in Childress. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Cherrye Howard of Memphis, Dolfa Hearn of Lake Conroe and Linda Tomlinson of Denton; a son, Richard N. Vallance of Amarillo; two sisters, Charlene Johnson of Weatherford and Virginia Toalson of Hallsville, Mo.; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Dudley was born in Olton, where he attended school and farmed. He owned a service station and repaired radiators in Olton and Muleshoe. He moved to Muleshoe in 1968 and was shop foreman at Poynor's White Auto Store for 24 years. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He married Wanda Anders in 1951 in Muleshoe. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Kirby-Conner-Boaz Funeral Home at Mountain Home. Burial will be in Galatia Cemetery at Norfork. Mrs. German was born in Amarillo. She had attended schools in Amarillo. She married Jerald "Jerry" German in 1962 in Amarillo, and they moved to Des Moines, Iowa, in 1965. They moved to Norfork, Ark., in June 1998. She was preceded in death by a son, Roger Dale Hawkins. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Terry Don Hawkins of Montana and Michael German of Altoona, Iowa; a sister, Betty Moore of Amarillo; and five grandchildren. Ray Biggs PHOENIX, Ariz. - Ray Biggs, formerly of Amarillo, died Thursday, April 8, 1999. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in First Methodist Church in Phoenix with Dr. Buzz Stevens officiating. Arrangements are by Botimer Funeral Home. Mr. Biggs was born in Wichita Falls and moved to Amarillo at an early age. He was a real estate appraiser. In 1971, he moved to Phoenix. He married Margaret Ann Steed in 1971. Survivors include his wife; a son, John Biggs of New Orleans; two stepsons, Scott Lee Peeples of Dallas and David William Steed Jr. of Haverhill, Mass.; a brother, Robert Biggs of Dallas; and four grandchildren. Mrs. Earwood was born in Floydada. She was a homemaker and member of Southwest Church of Christ in Amarillo. She was married to Curtis W. Earwood for 62 years. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1995 and by a son, Donald Curtis Earwood, in 1981. Survivors include two daughters, Billie Jean Whitted of Clovis, N.M., and Patricia Ann Buchanan of Manly; a sister, Ruby Sutton Wood of San Antonio; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She was a graduate of East Texas State University and had a master's degree from Texas Tech University. She taught for 28 years in the Lubbock Independent School District at Wheelock Elementary and at Lou Stubb's Elementary, and in the cities of Clarksville and Odessa. She was a member of the Texas Retired Teachers Association, St. Luke's Methodist Church, the Leo Gee Sunday school class, Kappa Kappa Iota, the Covenant Auxiliary of the Methodist Hospital and the Open Heart Club. She married Raymond G. Parker in 1942 in Commerce. He died in 1977. Survivors include a daughter, Peggy Frost of Amarillo; a son, Dick Parker of Amarillo; and three grandchildren.
