Services will be at 11 a.m. today in Alanreed Baptist Church at Alanreed with the Rev. Jim Bible officiating. Burial will be in Alanreed Cemetery at Alanreed by Lamb Funeral Home. Mrs. Standish was born in Edwardsport, Ind. She married M.W. "Jack" Standish in 1933 at Detroit, Mich. They moved to Alanreed in 1945, where they owned and operated the Alanreed Motel. Mrs. Standish moved to Monahans in 1988. She was a member of Alanreed Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1985. Survivors include a son, Sam Standish of Monahans; a daughter, Sheila Harris of Fritch; a sister, Clara Klinger of Plainville, Ind.; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. The body will be available for viewing at Lamb Funeral Home. Amarillo Daily News, Nov. 18, 1999 Farrell Arlene Day PAMPA - Farrell Arlene Day, 65, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 1999. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors Colonial Chapel with Dr. Derrell Monday, pastor, and the Rev. Rick Parnell, associate pastor of Central Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Heights Cemetery at Lefors. Ms. Day was born in Lefors. She moved to Pampa where she graduated from Pampa High School in 1953. She worked for the Salvation Army in Pampa. For 33 years, she was a postal clerk for the U.S. Postal Service. She had been a member of Central Baptist Church since 1949 and was a member of the Single Adult Sunday School Class. Survivors include a sister, Lovita Hagemann of Pampa; a niece, Mary Hagemann of Pampa; and two nephews, Carl Hagemann of Childress and James Hagemann of Pampa. The family requests memorials be to Central Baptist Church Building Fund. Amarillo Daily News, Nov. 18, 1999 Imogene Prince QUANAH - Imogene Prince, 91, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 1999. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Price-Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Sterling Lentz of Central Christian Church in Vernon officiating. Burial will be in Quanah Memorial Park. Mrs. Prince was born in Eldorado, Okla., and lived in Quanah for most of her life. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of the Nazarene. She married Robert Newton Prince Sr. in 1927 at Childress. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1963; by a daughter, Margret Risban in 1985; and by a son, Richard, in 1993. Survivors include four sons, Robert of Quanah, Alfred of Childress, Denny of Vernon and Jimmy of Burkburnett; two daughters, Mildred Weiss and Arline LeJeunesse, both of Santa Maria, Calif.; a sister, Clotte Bates of Lake Texhoma; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in New Beginnings Church with the Rev. Don White, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Love in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Mr. Shelton was born in Fannon County and moved to Borger in 1946. He was a cement mason. He was a member of New Beginnings Church and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He married Opal Wilkinson in 1938 at Honey Grove. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy R. Burks, in 1992. Survivors include his wife; four sons, Billy R. Shelton, Lemuel Shelton and Sammy S. Shelton, all of Fritch, and Joe W. Shelton of Borger; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Survivors include her husband; her parents, Alan Broadbent of Pampa and Jackie Chase of Amarillo; two sisters, Kristi Broadbent of Amarillo and Brieanna Broadbent of Alamosa, Colo.; a brother, Blake Broadbent of Alamosa; her grandparents, Bill and Delores Broadbent and Dwight Chase, all of Pampa, and Nancy Chase of Amarillo; her greatgrandparents, Fern Chase, Ervin and Maxine Chase and Ruby Terry, all of Pampa; her step-grandparents, Doug and Cindy Abbott of Pampa; and her stepfather, David Luedecke of Pampa. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors Pioneer Chapel, 2615 Paramount Blvd., with Pastor Garry Sutton of The First Church of the Nazarene officiating. Cremation will follow services. Mr. Baker was born in Hampton, Va., and moved to Amarillo when he was three years old. He was a 1979 graduate of Amarillo High School and attended Texas State Technical Institute. He worked for Crouse-Hinds and Royal Glass before going to work for Owens Corning in 1992. He was in the Ham Radio Operators Club. Survivors include a son, Jeff Baker of Amarillo; two daughters, Jennie Baker and Jordan Baker, both of Amarillo; his former wife, Anne Baker of Amarillo; his mother, Sandra Baker of Amarillo; his father, Gerald Baker of Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister, Vickie Schuler of Amarillo; and a brother, Michael Baker of Denver. Private burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Services are by Abbey Funeral Chapel, 3435 N. First Avenue, Tucson. Miss Little was born in Englewood, Kan. She was an author and illustrator of children's books, published in three languages. She retired from the New York City libraries to reside in Tucson. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Warford-Walker Mortuary Inc., Chapel of Roses, 509 N. Hughes St., with the Rev. Elgie Crow, pastor of Carter Chapel Primitive Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mr. Johnson was born in Longview and had lived in Amarillo for 53 years. In 1976, he retired from Southwestern Public Service Co., after 30 years of service. He also was employed by the families of John Boyce, Richard Ware and Jack Miller. From 1942 until 1945, Mr. Johnson served in the Army in World War II. He married Sheila Tommie Lee Rosebud in 1957 at Hereford. Survivors include his wife; a son, Fantha Dale Johnson of San Francisco; and a stepdaughter, Hazel Davis of Cleveland, Ohio. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Ivy Chapel, 2820 Virginia Circle, with Dr. Howard Batson, senior pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Luke was born in Littlefield and lived most of his life in Amarillo. For 30 years, he owned Luke's Bike Shop. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He married Martha Terrell in 1975 at Littlefield. Survivors include mothers, Jodie Goff of Las Vegas, Nev., and Polly Luke of Amarillo; three brothers, Stanton Joe Luke of Alva, Okla., Stanley Luke of Amarillo and Bill Brewer Jr. of Las Vegas; and his former wife, Martha. Mr. Lancaster was born in Clovis where he was a lifetime resident. A 1994 graduate of Clovis High School, he attended Clovis Community College.
