Services will be at 3:30 p.m. today in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors Colonial Chapel in Pampa. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery at Pampa. Mrs. Robertson was born in Olustee, Okla. She married Jack Robertson in 1935 in Amarillo. They had owned and operated Jack Robertson Plumbing for 34 years. He died in 1983. She had been a member of the Calvary Baptist Church since 1941. She was a member of the Gray County Democratic Party and was a lifetime member of the Parent Teachers Association. Survivors include three daughters, Jaqulin Robertson Anno of San Francisco, Joan Robertson Cross of Plano and Tammey Robertson Shimon of Wichita, Kan.; a son, David Robertson of Pampa; two sisters, Lorene Yates of Corsicana and Frances Browning of Neosho, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Augustin was born in Amarillo. Amarillo Daily News, Nov. 20, 1999 C.W. Turner MATADOR - C.W. Turner, 82, of DeLeon, died Oct. 23, 1999. Graveside rites were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in East Mound Cemetery in Matador with the Rev. Truman Johnson, pastor, of Broadview Baptist Church in Lubbock, officiating. Cremation was by Nowlin Funeral Home in DeLeon. Local arrangements were by Seigler Funeral Home of Matador. Mr. Turner was born in Blue Ridge and was a former resident of Motley County. He had worked as a lineman and supervisor for electric companies and civilian contractors in several states, Vietnam and Korea. Mr. Turner worked for St. Mary's Hospital and Texas Tech University in Lubbock. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He had been a resident of DeLeon for several years. Survivors include a niece, Linda Jo Kohler of Shallowater; and three nephews, Don Turner and W.G. Turner, both of Lubbock, and Bob Turner of San Angelo. Mrs. Bales was born in Tipton, Okla. In 1951, she moved from Levelland to Muleshoe where she was a homemaker and member of Muleshoe Church of Christ. She married Doug Bales in 1941 at Littlefield. Survivors include her husband; a son, Kem Bales of Muleshoe; and three grandchildren. Amarillo Daily News, Nov. 20, 1999 Frank Reneau SHAMROCK - Frank Reneau, 94, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 1999. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in First Baptist Church in Shamrock with the Rev. Don Conner and the Rev. David Williams officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean by Wright Funeral Directors of Shamrock. Mr. Reneau was born in Merkel. He had lived in Corpus Christi where he was plant manager for Delhi Taylor Refineries. In 1988, he moved to Wheeler County and lived in Shamrock. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Shamrock. He married Myrtle Cammack in 1935. She died in 1988. Survivors include a brother, James Reneau of Shamrock; and three sisters, Edith Stauffer of Whittier, Calif., Emma Kukendall of Price, Utah and Grace Hanner of Shamrock. The family suggest, in lieu of flowers, memorials be to First Baptist Church or Eleventh Street Baptist Church Building Fund. Amarillo Daily News, Nov. 20, 1999 Amarillo Marilynn Wilmeth Marilynn Wilmeth, 67, of El Paso and formerly of Amarillo, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 1999. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Llano Cemetery with The Right Rev. George Quarterman officiating. Local arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mrs. Wilmeth was born in Booker. She graduated from Amarillo High School in 1949 and attended Amarillo Junior College. She married Leo J. Wilmeth Jr. in 1951 at Clovis, N.M. After their marriage, they lived in Tulsa. Mrs. Wilmeth was active in the March of Dimes Mothers' March and spearheaded several telethons. She was a legal secretary for Tulsa County District Attorney David Hall. She was an active member of the Trinity Episcopal Church, where she was in charge of the Children's Sunday School Department. She also was active in the Democratic Party in Oklahoma. From 1967 until 1972, Mrs. Wilmeth moved from Tulsa to Houston to Sioux City, Iowa. She moved to Amarillo in 1973 and to Enid, Okla., in 1976. She was active in St. Matthew's Episcopal Church where she served as president of the ECW. She was employed by the Oklahoma Tourism Bureau and for Ramada Inn as a night auditor until she moved to El Paso. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1981. Survivors include four sons, Larry Wilmeth of Lawton, Okla., Mike Wilmeth of Oklahoma City, Scott Wilmeth of California and John Wilmeth of Pryor, Okla.; her father, Dr. Ray Small of El Paso; a sister, Andra Sherrill of El Paso; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Amarillo Daily News, Nov. 20, 1999 J. Patrick Barnes J. Patrick "Pat" Barnes, 33, of Amarillo, died Saturday, Nov. 6, 1999, at Seattle. A private gathering of family and friends, to celebrate his life, will be Tuesday. Arrangements in Seattle were handled by Bonney Watson Funeral Home. Mr. Barnes was born in Seattle and graduated from Washington State University where he was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. He moved to Amarillo two years ago as general manager of Lamar Outdoor, a billboard company. He served as vice-president of the Kiwanis Club and participated in the Asarco Bowling League. He volunteered with several charities. Before moving to Amarillo, he spent five years in Los Angeles and Atlanta at a billboard buying service, Outdoor Services, and two years in Memphis at Universal Outdoor. He married Tena in 1994 at Atlanta, Ga. Survivors include his wife; and daughter, Riley Nicole. Mrs. Carter was born in Berlin, Germany, and moved to Amarillo in 1993 from Clovis, N.M. She was a homemaker and a member of the Amarillo Women's Bowling Association 500 Club. She married Michael Carter in 1977 at Oppenheim, Germany. Survivors include her husband; and a son, Neil Carter. The family requests memorials be to the American Cancer Society. Osage St. Mrs. Collins was born in Mulberry, Ark., and had lived in Amarillo for the past 15 years. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star and Washington Avenue Christian Church. Survivors include a son, James Havenar of Evergreen, Colo.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to Washington Avenue Christian Church. Mrs. Kinzie was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, and was a longtime resident of Clovis. She was a homemaker. She married David C. Kinzie in 1935. She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Aline Wofford in 1998. Survivors include a son, David F. Kinzie of Kansas City, Kan.; a daughter, Patti Eaton of Clovis; a brother, Sam Gephart of Washington; two sisters, Berfie Womble of Tucumcari and Dorothy Harney of Billings, Mont.; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Ross Dunn officiating. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens by Steed-Todd Funeral Home. Mr. Rucker was born in Denton County, Texas. He married Ruby Broxson in 1933 at Quitaque, Texas. They moved to the Belleview area and farmed. In the 1980s, they retired and moved to Clovis. He was a member of Kingswood Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife.
