Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church of Paducah with the Rev. Ed Peckham, pastor of Canyon United Methodist Church, officiating, and The Rev. Jeff Utter, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Paducah, assisting. Burial will be in Paducah Garden of Memories by Seigler Funeral Home of Paducah. Mr. Clark was born in Paducah where he was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Paducah High School in 1955 and from North Texas State University, where he was a member of Delta Sigma Phi. Mr. Clark was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Paducah Masonic Lodge 868. He was a charter member of the Scottish Rite in Lubbock, president of the Paducah Cemetery Association and a director of the Federal Land Bank Association. He worked for the Texas Department of Human Resources for 30 years and was a veteran of the Army. Survivors include his wife, Mary; a son, J. Douglas Clark of Chicago; a daughter, Callie Thompson of Arlington; a sister, Laverne Rose of Arlington; his stepmother, Mildred Clark of Paducah; and a grandson. Mickey PLAINVIEW - Forrest F. Mickey, 81, died Monday, Oct. 18, 1999. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Garland Street Church of Christ in Plainview with Kim Hays, Karl King and Larry Golden of Garland Street Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home. Mr. Mickey was born in Floydada County and moved to Plainview at a young age, where he attended school. He was a member of Garland Street Church of Christ. Mr. Mickey served in the Navy during World War II. He also farmed for many years, and owned and operated Texas Farm Machinery, a John Deere Dealer Co. He retired in 1986. He married Maylene Parish in 1939 at Portales, N.M. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Kim Hall of Wichita, Kan.; two sons, Jerry Mickey of Rockport and Jack Mickey of Plainview; three brothers, Vernon Mickey of Canyon, Milton Mickey of San Diego and Lonnie Mickey of Greensville; two sisters, Esthel Davis of Kingsland and Odessa Monroe of North Carolina; six grandchildren; and four great-grandsons. Mr. Taylor was born in Carthage and live in Plainview for 50-plus years. An Army veteran, he served in the Philippines and was a member of the American Legion. He retired from Excel in 1987 and had also been employed by Green Machinery, High Plains Co-op Mill in Lubbock. Mr. Taylor married Belva Jackson in 1967. She died in 1986. Survivors include a son, Sid Underwood of Garden Ridge; a daughter, Suzie Underwood of Sealy; two sisters, Mary Waller of Oklahoma and Betty Sue Baxter of California; a brother, Edward Milton Taylor of Minnesota; and a granddaughter. Burial will be in Lazbuddie Cemetery by Ellis Funeral Home of Muleshoe. Mrs. Walker was born in Lawton, Okla. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ. In July, she moved from Muleshoe to Soddy Daisy, Tenn. She married Foster Allen Walker in 1947 at Anson. He died in 1995. Survivors include five sons, Tommy Walker of Lazbuddie, and Ronnie, Lonnie, Donnie and Willie Walker, all of Midlothian; a daughter, Oleta Spencer of Soddy Daisy; two sisters, Edmerina Singletary of Brownfield and Clara Mae Dunham of Jonesboro; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by SchoolerGordon Funeral Directors, 5400 Bell St. Mrs. Arb was born in Clinton, Okla., and moved to Amarillo in 1936 from Iola, Kan., where she attended school. She married Irvin L. Arb in 1926 at Iola. They farmed in Kansas and moved to Texas in 1936. He preceded her in death in 1961. Mrs. Arb retired from Sam Houston Junior High School in 1974 as a cook/baker. She became a member of San Jacinto Nazarene Church in 1944, which is now Valleyview Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include a daughter, Laura Bell Brown of Casper, Wyo.; four brothers, Bert "Dave" Davidson of Amarillo, Joe Davidson of Littleton/Denver area, Colo., Ray Davidson of Florence, Kan., and Fred Davidson of Mulhall, Okla.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He worked as a farmer most of his life and was a member of the Catholic church. Mr. Perkins was born in House. He moved to Clovis in 1948 from Truth or Consequences. He was a certified master watchmaker and a member of West 21st Street Church of Christ. He married Josephine Chasak in 1946 at Taylor. Survivors include his wife; a son, Michael Wayne Perkins of Clovis; a daughter, Barbara Faye O'Ree of Williamstown, Va.; and three grandchildren. Arrangements were by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis, N.M. Mr. Burnett was born in Bellview. He a farmed and ranched in the Broadview community most of his life. He lived in Gatesville for six years, where he ranched. He was a member of Broadview Church of Christ. He married Mary Frances Green in 1940 at Clovis. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Larry K. Burnett of Estancia and Michael D. Burnett of Clovis; a daughter, Sherry Wellborn of Quemado; a brother, Elmer Burnett of Clovis; a sister, Pauline Campbell of Clovis; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. George Silva, pastor, and Deacon Louis Montoya officiating. Burial will be in Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton. Mr. Rael was born in Emery Gap. He was a lifelong resident of Union County, living in the Folsom area before moving to Clayton in 1947. Mr. Rael was a World War II veteran serving in the Navy and received a Purple Heart. He was a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans and a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. His first marriage was to Vera Valdez in 1948 at Clayton. He was preceded in death by Vera in 1988 and by a son, Ray Anthony "Toby" Rael in 1992. Survivors include his wife, Isabel Rael of Albuquerque; two daughters, Rosie DeHerrera of Clayton, and Rhonda Aragon of Las Vegas, N.M.; three sons, Rudy Rael, Ronnie Rael and Robert Rael, all of Clayton; a sister, Anna Barela of Pueblo, Colo.; a brother, Teofilo Rael of San Dimas, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Clayton with the Rev. Billy Rammage, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Clayton Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton. Mrs. Lechner was born in Sedan. As a young girl, she moved with her parents to Omaha, Neb., where she finished high school and business school. Her family later returned to Sedan, where she married George Winfield Lechner in 1933. They farmed south of Sedan until their retirement in 1982 and moved to Clayton. Mrs. Lechner was a member of First Baptist Church of Clayton, the Sedan Home Extension Club, the Garden Club in Clayton and the Clayton Home Improvement Club. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1994. Survivors include four daughters, Ila Roach of Amarillo, Darlene Wann of Bushland, Texas, Georgia Dimitroff of Clayton and Mary Lutes of Sedan; two sons, Ted Lechner of Wilmington, Ohio, and Don Lechner of Tulia, Texas; 25 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Tenorio was a lifetime resident of Clovis. He was a senior at Clovis High School and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors include his parents, Matthew and Mary Tenorio of Clovis; a brother, Christian Tenorio of Clovis; a sister, Amanda Tenorio of Clovis; his grandparents, Fab and Gertrude Tenorio and Aurora Madrid, all of Clovis; and his god-parents, Edward and Lillie Romero and Raymond Johnson. Amarillo Daily News, Oct. 20, 1999 Gerald F. Fisher CLOVIS, N.M. - Gerald F. Fisher, 62, died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 1999. No services are planned at this time. Cremation was by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis. Mr. Fisher was born in Canton, Ohio, and moved to Clovis in 1962. He was a sergeant at Cannon Air Force Base in the electronics field. After his discharge, he was an engineer at KCLV radio station and KFDA-TV station. He also designed blueprints and operations for the Norman Petty Studios. Mr. Fisher then taught at Eastern New Mexico University on both Clovis and Portales campuses. He taught electronics, psychology and apiculture. After his retirement, he went into private research. He married Jean Tuma in 1955 at Springfield, Ill. Survivors include his wife; a son, Jay Fisher of Magdalena; two daughters, Lynda Sides of Oklahoma Lane, Texas, and Lynne Jones of Topeka, Kan.; two sisters, Judy Leftoff of Lawrence, Kan., and Joyce Leeson of Canton; and five grandchildren.
