Klause BORGER - Bob H. Klause, 86, died Sunday, Sept. 19, 1999. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Brown Funeral Directors Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery. Mr. Klause was born in Foraker, Okla., and had lived in Borger for 50 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma, in 1986 and a daughter, Carol Sue Klause, in 1956. Survivors include four sons, Bob Klause Jr. and Joe Klause, both of Borger, Ronald Klause of Round Hill, Va., and Steve Klause of Canyon; a daughter, Sandra Laughery of Borger; three brothers, Waite Klause of Borger, Calvin Klause of Amarillo and John Klause of Fort Worth; two sisters, Jean Janow of Borger and Opal Williams of Austin; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Glenard Earl Elmore FOLLETT - Glenard Earl Elmore, 86, died Monday, Sept. 20, 1999. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in United Methodist of Follett with the Rev. Scott Richardson, pastor, and the Rev. Ted Barker officiating. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery by Seeger Funeral Home of Laverne, Okla. Mr. Elmore was born and raised in Follett where he graduated from high school. In 1954, he graduated from Panhandle State University. He coached at Texhoma and Boise City, Okla., before moving to Follett where he was coach and teacher until his retirement in 1967. He coached football, basketball and track. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and was a Mason. He married Irene Opal Gillespie in 1941 at Woodward, Okla. Survivors include his wife; a son, Frank Elmore of Follett; three daughters, Glenda Laubhan of Mesa, Ariz., Patsy Elmore of Apache Junction, Ariz., and Bonnie Todd of Follett; a sister, Wanda Daniels of Follett; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Anna Katherine Huckert HEREFORD - Anna Katherine Huckert, 84, died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 1999. Wake services will be at 7 p.m. Friday in Rose Chapel of Gililland-Watson Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Monsignor Orville Blum officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery in Hereford. Mrs. Huckert was born in Welston, Mo., and moved from St. Louis to Texas in 1926. In 1936, she moved to Deaf Smith County from Plainview. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. She married Frank Huckert in 1937 at Hereford. He died in July. Survivors include three sons, Joe Frank Huckert of Summerfield, Robert Huckert of Hereford and David Huckert of Lamesa; four daughters, Mary Katherine Sauer of Annandale, Va., Betty Lance of Amarillo, Patsy Morgan of Lubbock and Barbara Barnett of Plano; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren. George Willie Williams PLAINVIEW - George Willie Williams, 73, died Sunday, Sept. 19, 1999. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Plainview Memorial Park with T.A. Williams, minister of Ash and Carver Church of Christ, officiating. Arrangements are by Lemons Funeral Home. Mr. Williams was born in Kaufman. In 1993, he moved to Plainview from Kaufman. He was a retired minister. He married Cora Stepto at Kaufman. She died in 1986. He is survived by his sister, Sallie Williams of Plainview. Amarillo Clydene Fouse Clydene Fouse, 90, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 1999. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church with Dr. Howard K. Batson, pastor, officiating. Private burial services for the family will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd. Mrs. Fouse was born in Waldron, Ark., and was raised in eastern Oklahoma. She graduated from high school in Poteau, Okla., and attended nursing school at Sparks Memorial Hospital at Fort Smith, Ark. Mrs. Fouse worked for a doctor's clinic at Boulder City, Nev., during the construction of the Hoover Dam before moving to Amarillo in 1944. She was a nurse in Amarillo for many years and worked as a school nurse for the Amarillo Independent School District for 19 years. After retiring from the school district, she continued to work in private duty nursing. She married Otis Everett Fouse in 1934 at Las Vegas, Nev. He died in 1944. Survivors include two daughters, Marge Hudson and Carol Ann Vaughn, both of Amarillo; a sister, Edith Hopkins of San Marcos; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to the Texas Panhandle Mental Health Authority Library Fund. They will be at No. 18 St. Andrews Drive. Fred E. Kroll Fred E. Kroll, 83, of Amarillo, died Monday, Sept. 20, 1999. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday in the Veteran's Administration Chapel with Rev. Terry Sparks, chaplain, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mr. Kroll was born in Ute, Iowa, and lived in Hereford before moving to Amarillo in 1946. In Hereford, he owned a soft ice cream store. In Amarillo, Mr. Kroll owned and operated Fred Kroll Autos for more than 30 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church and participated in Big Brothers/Big Sisters. Mr. Kroll was a veteran of World War II, serving in the 423rd Army Air Corps as an airplane- and engine-mechanic. He received the American Theater ribbon, Good Conduct medal and Victory Medal. He married Margaret Englund in 1990 at Amarillo. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Dianne Kroll of Hawaii; two sons, David Kroll and Doug Kroll, both of Hawaii; two stepdaughters, Vickie Doherty and Jackie Barker, both of Amarillo; two sisters, Marie Vines of California and Helen of Iowa; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Veterans Administration Medical Center Chapel Fund or a favorite charity. The body will not be available for viewing. Elsewhere Ruth Austin FRISCO - Ruth Austin, 84, died Monday, Sept. 20, 1999. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today in Cantrell Funeral Home Chapel with Jim Pyburn officiating. Burial will be in Little Elm Cemetery. Mrs. Austin was born in Walnut Springs. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She married John Rayford Austin in 1937. He died in 1995. Survivors include a son, Don Austin of Kentucky; two daughters, Cory Hutton of Frisco and Estelle Anderson of Rowlett; nine grandchildren; and six greatgrandchildren. New Mexico Vivo Richardson TUCUMCARI, N.M. - Vivo Richardson, 94, died Monday, Sept. 20, 1999, at Los Lunas. Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Dunn Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in the family plot of Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Richardson was born in Floydada, Texas, and had been a resident of the Montoya area, moving to Bull Canyon with her family when she was 11 years old. She married Ralph Richardson in 1928 at Tucumcari. They owned and operated Richardson Store at Montoya for many years. He died in 1981. Survivors include two sons, Clifton Richardson of Palomas and Keith of Phoenix; two grandsons; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. The body will be available for viewing until service time Thursday at the funeral home. The family requests memorials be to the New Mexico Boys Ranch or a favorite charity. Oklahoma Wilda Alice Davison Mann BEAVER, Okla. - Wilda Alice Davison Mann, 87, died Monday, Sept. 20, 1999. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Beaver Church of the Firstborn with Donald Moss and Allen Cox officiating. Burial will be in the Overton Cemetery by Clark Funeral Service of Beaver. Mrs. Mann was born in Waynoka and lived in Beaver during the Dust Bowl years. She was a longtime member of the Church of the Firstborn. Much of her life was spent caring for the sick and the elderly as well as a midwife. She married Forrest Marion Mann in 1929 at Baca County, Colo. She was preceded in death by a toddler son, Billy Duane, and three husbands, Forrest Mann, Herschel Cramer and Virgil Smith. Survivors include three children, Norma Leatherman and Donald Mann, both of Vici, and Bob Mann of Beaver; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
