Burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Shamrock Cemetery. Mrs. Austin was born in Shamrock and lived in Amarillo most of her life. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by a son, Ben Austin. Survivors include a son, Steve Austin of Amarillo; a daughter, Cheryl Austin of Gatesville; three brothers, W.V. Lister and R.O. Lister, both of Shamrock, and Kenneth Lister of Texline; and two grandchildren. The family will be at 141 W. Cliffside Dr. They suggest memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice. Roy Harrison Roy Harrison, 80, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, May 19, 1999. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Trinity United Methodist Church, 3402 S. Jackson, with Dr. Clifford E. Trotter, retired Methodist minister, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mr. Harrison was born in Lehigh, Okla., and grew up in Oklahoma City where he graduated from Classen High School. During World War II, he served in the Army in the European and Pacific theaters. He moved to Amarillo in 1956. Mr. Harrison was a loan officer for Amarillo National Bank for 26 years, retiring as an assistant vice president. He was a longtime volunteer with Northwest Texas Hospital Auxiliary. He was a member of the American Legion and Trinity United Methodist Church. He married Winnie Deason in 1939 at Shawnee, Okla. She died in 1991. Survivors include his daughter, Pam Richardson of St. Louis, and a grandson, Rob Richardson of St. Louis. The family suggests memorials be to Trinity United Methodist Church, 3402 S. Jackson, Amarillo, TX 79109. Eileen Johnson Eileen Johnson, 75, of Amarillo, died Friday, May 21, 1999. She married Glenn Dean Johnson in 1967 at Pueblo, Colo. He died in 1996. Survivors include two daughters, Carla Smith of Amarillo and Sharon Mooring of Denver; a son, Bob South of Spartanburg, S.C.; nine grandchildren; and 12 greatgrandchildren. Mildred G. Ziegenhorn Mildred G. Ziegenhorn, 90, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, May 19, 1999. Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 30, in Ceta Canyon Chapel. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mrs. Ziegenhorn was born in Balch, Ark., and had lived in Amarillo for 46 years. She was a homemaker and member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She married H. Forrest Ziegenhorn in 1928 at Independence, Mo. He died in 1990. Survivors include three sons, Howard Ziegenhorn of Kansas City, Mo., Jerry Ziegenhorn of Dubuque, Iowa, and Garland Ziegenhhorn of Dallas; two daughters, Genneil Parker of Amarillo and Ruth Ann Austin of Kansas City; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Carmen Reagan Thrasher Carmen Reagan Thrasher, 98, a former Amarillo resident, died Thursday, May 20, 1999, in Littleton, Colo. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Llano Cemetery with Dr. Jim E. Garrett of Polk Street United Methodist Church officiating. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Littleton United Methodist Church. Local Arrangements are by N.S. She was a member of Polk Street United Methodist Church in Amarillo and attended Littleton United Methodist Church. She married William "Hal" Harrison in 1924 at Whitesboro. She was preceded in death by her husband and two children, Lyndal and Joan. Survivors include a son, Marvin P. Thrasher of Littleton; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Frances A. Nell Cross Nell Cross, 92, of Amarillo, died Friday, May 21, 1999. She worked in Socorro, N.M., as a ranch manager for the Ball family for 25 years. In 1979, she moved from Amarillo to Canyon, where she was a member of the Canyon Senior Citizens and the Sixth Avenue Church of Christ. She is survived by a brother, Raymond Cross of San Diego. Viewing will be from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Bob Raff Bob Raff, 84, of Amarillo, died Friday, May 21, 1999. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. M.O. Garner, retired Baptist minister, officiating. Military rites will be by VFW Post No. 1475. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Raff was born in Arnett, Okla., and graduated from Independence High School in Custer County, Okla. He worked as a mechanic at Pantex for more than 10 years. He served with the Navy during World War II and was a Baptist. He married Edna Gertrude Thrasher in 1936 at Amarillo. She died in 1993. Survivors include a son, Richard Raff of Amarillo; two brothers, Charles L. Raff of Custer, Okla., and Jim Raff of Amarillo; a sister, Thelma Wood of Fort Worth; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild. The body will not be available for viewing. The family suggests memorials be to the American Heart Association. Liz Dedrick Liz Dedrick, 51, of Amarillo, died Friday, May 21, 1999, in Gallup, N.M. Mrs. Dedrick was born in Reading, Penn., and had worked in the food-service industry for both the Panhandle Alcohol Recovery Center and the Amarillo Independent School District. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She married Bob Dedrick in 1976 at Eureka, Calif. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Denettera Quintanilla of Dallas; a son, Danny Saunders of Gardner, Kan.; two brothers, Bill Cole of Olathe, Kan., and Bobby Saunders of Osawatomie, Kan.; and a sister, Katherine Cole of Olathe, Kan. Lee Ray Sharber Lee Ray Sharber, 78, of Amarillo, died Saturday, May 22, 1999. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with the Rev. Mr. Sharber was born in Whitesboro and moved to Amarillo in 1955. He was a laborer at the zinc smelter and a member of Summitt Baptist Church. He married Ledona Duvak in 1940 at Fredrick, Okla. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Dale Sharber and Tommy Ray Sharber, both of Amarillo, and Ronald Glenn Sharber of Mansfield; a brother, A.W. She married James Quincy Gholson in 1969 at Abilene. She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Messenger, and a daughter, Jo Ann Messenger. Survivors include three daughters, Inez Elrod of Rotan, Jerry Hallum of Canadian and Beth Wilcoxson of McKinsey, Tenn.; a son, Lonnie Messenger of Eastland; two brothers, Lawrence Ellerd of Graham and Jesse Ellerd of Throckmorton; 11 grandchildren; and 12 greatgrandchildren. Area Dora Gordon OLTON - Dora Gordon, 94, died Thursday, May 20, 1999. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Henson Cemetery in Red Springs with the Rev. John Kisinger of Red Springs officiating. Arrangements are by Foskey-Lilley-McGill Funeral Home of Olton. Mrs. Gordon was born in Soper, Okla., and was raised in Bogata. She moved to Red Springs at an early age. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Red Springs. She married James G. Gordon in 1920 at Bogata. He died in 1942. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Mildred Vaughn, and a son, Jack Gordon. Survivors include four daughters, Anne Burkhalter of Olton, Betty Weeden of Grand Prairie, Geraldine Childers of Houston and Erma Walsh of Lubbock; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Running Water Draw Care Center in Olton. William Douglas Mills PLAINVIEW - William Douglas "Bill" Mills, 73, died Wednesday, May 19, 1999. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Wood-Dunning Colonial Chapel with Dr. Travis Hart of First Baptist Church of Plainview officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park. Mr. Mills was born in Anson and moved to Plainview in 1942 from Brownfield. During World War II, he served in the Marine Corps. For many years, he was body shop manager for Maggard-Nail Motor Co. Mr. Mills then owned and operated the B&K Body Shop of Plainview. He was a member of the Plainview Bass Club and coached the Golden Gloves Boxing team for many years. Survivors include two daughters, Kara Lynn Mills of Tucson and Cheryl Denise Mills of Plainview; a brother, Steve Mills of Houston; and three grandchildren. In 1930, she moved from Lefors to Mobeetie, where she graduated from Mobeetie High School. She was a homemaker. She married Albert Wayne Treadwell in 1947 at Mobeetie. He died in 1970. Survivors include two daughters, Becky Whatley and Carolyn Price, both of Canadian; and four grandchildren. Mrs. Williams was born in Swisher County and moved from Clovis, N.M., to Fritch, where she had lived for the past eight years. She was a homemaker and a member of First Southern Baptist Church. Her husband, Ray, died in 1983. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Dorothy Louise, in 1940 and a son, Dale, in 1985. Survivors include three sons, Phil Williams of Fritch, Raymond Williams and Euell Williams, both of Albuquerque, N.M.; a daughter, Carolyn Freeman of Las Vegas, N.M.; three sisters, Ruth Wilson of Levelland, Ethel Lee Mullis of Amarillo and Margaret Calder of Monkey Island, Okla.; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Dennis was born in Plaska and was a certified Nurse's Aide. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ashton Baldwin, in 1993. Survivors include two daughters, Ashley Evon Baldwin and Raven Alliyah Horne, both of Childress; her mother, Dorothy Williams of Childress; four brothers, Freddie Ray Baldwin of Plainview, Clarence Baldwin Jr. of Clarendon, and Terry Wayne Baldwin and Walter Earl Baldwin, both of Childress; five sisters, Lanell White, Faye Robinson and Carylen Brown, all of Fort Worth, Janice Sims of Childress and Michelle Baldwin of Arlington; and her grandmother, Mae Bell Davis of Childress. Molly Riddle SILVERTON - Molly Riddle, 92, died Saturday, May 22, 1999. Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church with Ted Kingery officiating and the Rev. Randy Mullin assisting. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery in Quitaque by Myers-Long Funeral Directors of Silverton. Mrs. Riddle was born in Howland and moved to Quitaque in the 1940s. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Silverton. She married James Morrison in 1923 at De Kalb. He died in 1946. She married Auburn Riddle in 1953 at Clovis, N.M. He died in 1959. She was also preceded in death by three sons, James Morrison, Richard Morrison and Horace Morrison. Survivors include two daughters, Fairy L. McWilliams of Silverton and Joy Caraway of Honey Grove; a son, Roy Morrison of Smyer; two sisters, Gertrude Wood of Ashland, Ore., and Lenetta Montanero of North Carolina; a brother, Jack Thompson of Portland, Ore.; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five greatgreat-grandchildren. Mattie Grimsley MULESHOE - Mattie Grimsley, 90, died Friday, May 21, 1999. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in First Baptist Church with Dr. Stacy Conner, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Muleshoe Memorial Park Cemetery by Ellis Funeral Home. Mrs. Grimsley was born in Haskell, and in 1951 moved from Morton to Muleshoe. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. She had also been a member of the order of Eastern Star. She married Floyd Grimsley in 1928 at Rochester. He died in 1995. Survivors include two sons, Joe Ray Grimsley of Arvada, Colo., and Thomas Mark Grimsley of Soper, Okla.; a daughter, Jan McGraw of Medina, Wash.; four brothers, J.D. Emerson of Anson, Dempsey Emerson of O Brien, Harold Emerson of Greenville and O.L. Emerson of Tyler; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
