Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Turner moved to Amarillo from Madill, Okla. in 1938 and was a cook for Meads Bakery for several years. She was a Baptist. Survivors include two sons, Wayne Kelly of Fritch and Raymond Barron of Houston; a daughter, Arlinda McFarlane of Frisco; two brothers, Johnny Forguson and Clarence Forguson, both of Amarillo; three sisters, Edith Danly and Esther Gammage, both of Amarillo and Viva Walker of Oklahoma City; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to American Cancer Society. Lorene A. Cook Lorene A. Cook, 75, of Amarillo, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 1999. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road with the Rev. Michael Carter, pastor of River Road Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by the funeral home. Mrs. Cook was born in Strong City, Okla. and moved to Amarillo in 1927 where she worked for Furds Cleaners, was a gate attendant at Amarillo Modified Midget Race Track for 15 years, and retired from Levi Strauss in 1984. She was a member of Amarillo Garden Club and of the River Road Baptist Church. She married Floyd B. Cook in 1952. Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Irene Tate of Tulsa, Okla. and Gloria Miller and Carla Sanders, both of Amarillo; three brothers, Grant Albright of Amarillo, Roy Albright of Cheyenne, Okla. and Dale Albright of Levelland; a stepson; three stepdaughters; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; stepgrandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Jo Beth Warner Jo Beth Warner, 75, of Amarillo, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 1999. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church with the Rev. Dana Moore, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Amarillo, by Holley Funeral Home, Canyon. Mrs. Warner was born in Potosi. She was a housewife, a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church and of the XYZ club within the church. She married James "Jim" Howard Warner in 1942. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Sandra Noke of Aurora, Colo.; two sons, Jim Warner of Manhattan, Kan. and Jeff Warner of San Diego; three sisters, Onita Thomas of Clarendon, Willa Bolin of Texhoma and Janette Baumberger of Amarillo; four brothers, Troy Rampy of Santa Clara, Calif., Aubrey Rampy of Ingram, Don Rampy of Aurora, and Bill Rampy of Mesquite, N.M.; 11 grandchildren; and seven greatgrandchildren. Mae Britton Mae Britton, 86, of Amarillo, died Sunday, Jan. 24, 1999. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2820 Virginia Circle, with the Rev. Ronnie Tucker, pastor of Friendship Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by the funeral home. Mrs. Britton was born near Memphis and had lived in Amarillo for 60 years. She worked in the jewelry business for 45 years, 10 of which were spent as a watchmaker for Zales Jewelers. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She married Johnny Britton in 1929. He died in 1965. Survivors include a son, John Britton of Amarillo; two daughters, Ann Perry of Buffalo Gap and Donna Morse of Arlington; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Services will be private and directed by the family. Cremation will be by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mr. Massman was born in Port Huron, Mich. and had lived in Amarillo for the past 40 years. He worked in mower maintenance until his retirement from TSTI. He married Patricia "Pat" Mendenhall in 1970. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael R. Massman, in 1983. Survivors include his wife; a son, Patrick J. Massman of Amarillo; three daughters, Cheri Lincoln of Grand Prairie, Vickie Lixey of Port Huron, and Krista K. Canada of Canyon; a stepdaughter, Laura Hollenstien of Amarillo; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. "Butch" Lee, 54, of Amarillo, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 1999. Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in First Assembly of God, 2318 13th Ave., Canyon, with the Rev. Billy Nickell, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mr. Lee was born in Fort Worth and moved to Amarillo in 1967, where he worked for many years in the insurance business and in hotel/motel sales. He was a member of the Downtown Lions Club, the Panhandle Hotel Motel Association and of the First Assembly of God. He married Shannon Sexton in 1995. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Katina M. Jurado of Memphis; three sons, Robert W. Lee, Ritchie K. Sexton and Rodney G. Sexton, all of Amarillo; a sister, Cheri Lee of Dallas; his mother, Edna "Bea" Lee of Dallas; and five grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. todayat the funeral home. "Billie" Colarelli, 82, formerly of Clayton, N.M., died Saturday, Jan. 23, 1999. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church in Clayton with the Rev. Andy Husted, pastor, and the Rev. Norman Grigsby, associate pastor of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Amarillo, officiating. Burial will be in Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton. Mrs. Colarelli was born in Burlington, Colo. and grew up in Canon City, Colo. She moved to Clayton in 1946 where she worked as an operator for the telephone company and was a service representative until her retirement in 1978. She moved to Amarillo in 1993 and was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. She married Thomas Steve "Tom" Colarelli in 1935. He died in 1994. She was also preceded in death by a son, Thomas Lee Colarelli, in 1979. Survivors include a son, Charles "Chuck" Colarelli of Amarillo; a sister, Elnora Cox Schroeder of Littleton, Colo.; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to First United Methodist Church in Clayton, or to St. Paul United Methodist Church in Amarillo. Area Rosine Bender PANHANDLE - Rosine Bender, 80, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 1999. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Panhandle Cemetery. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Grace Fellowship Church with the Rev. John Pratt, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors. Mrs. Bender was a native of Nacogdoches County and a longtime resident of Panhandle. She was an office manager with the Waxahachie Independent School District at the time of her retirement. She worked in the cafeteria at St. Ann's Nursing Home, in Panhandle schools and was a member of Grace Fellowship Church. She married Cloyd Marvin "Kelly" Bender in 1932. He died in 1999. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Bessie Marie Cullpepper and Betty Nadine Bender. Survivors include four sons, Robert Earl Bender of Kingsland, Bill C. Bender of Austin, Cloyd Marvin Bender Jr. of San Diego and Michael M. Bender of Panhandle; two brothers, Cecil Russell of Panhandle and Robert E. Russell Jr. of Junction; 13 grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Inez Fults HEREFORD - Inez Fults, 88, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 1999. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. todayin West Park Cemetery with the Rev. Nathan L. Stone, pastor of Fellowship of Believers Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Gililland-Watson Funeral Home. Mrs. Fults was born in Fannin County and moved to Deaf Smith County from Lubbock County in the early 1960s. She was a homemaker. She married Ronnie Fults in 1928. He died in 1996. Survivors include three sons, Benny Fults of Amarillo, Robert Fults of Pattonville and Harold Fults of Hereford; two daughters, Mary Miller of Midland and Bell Vinson of Floydada; a sister, Gladys Duncan of Ladonia; 17 grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice. Alpha Christine Bridges CHILDRESS - Alpha Christine "Johnnie" Bridges, 82, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 1999. Services will be at 10 a.m. todayin First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ivan Allen, retired Methodist minister of Childress, officiating. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery by Johnson Funeral Home. Mrs. Bridges was born in Morgan Mills and moved to the Garden Valley Community in Childress County where she was a resident for many years. She retired from retail sales as a sales clerk. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Mabel Hare Sunday school class, and was past Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star. She married Des Bridges in 1941. He died in 1990. Survivors include a daughter, Linda Cook of Grapevine; and a grandchild. Elizabeth Haygood Gulley HEREFORD - Elizabeth Haygood Gulley, 89, formerly of Uvalde, died Sunday, Jan. 24, 1999. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturdayin First Baptist Church in Uvalde with the Rev. Jerry Scott, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Uvalde Cemetery by Gililland-Watson Funeral Home. Mrs. Gulley was born in Uvalde County, was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. She was also a member of De Las Encinas Chapter of the Daughters of American Revolution, of Colonial Dames of America, a charter member of Caddell-Smith Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas and past Worthy Matron of Uvalde Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. She married Titus David Gulley in 1927. He died in 1992. Survivors include two sons, Judge David Wesley Gulley of Hereford and Haygood Gulley of Del Rio; a daughter, Clarice Gulley Fisher Satel of Leakey/San Antonio; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
