Arrangements are by CarmichaelWhatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mr. Eads was born in Wellington and graduated from Wellington High School. He married Patricia Trimble in 1952 at Wheeler. In 1964, Mr. Eads moved from Wheeler County to Pampa, where he worked for Celanese Corp. as a boiler for several years. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Nita Cornelison of Midland and Brandie Killebrew of Evanston, Ill.; a son, Eldon Eads of Pampa; two brothers, A.D. Eads of Wheeler and Ernest Eads of Canyon; and a grandchild. Marian Ramsay Jameson PAMPA - Marian Ramsay Osborne Jameson, 80, died Sunday, May 23, 1999. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Pampa with the Rev. John Glover, associate pastor officiating. Mrs. Jameson was born in Miami, Texas and had been a longtime resident of Pampa. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Altrusa Club of Pampa, Pampa Chamber of Commerce and a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts of America. She married William Harold Osborne in 1938 at Miami. He died in 1950. She married D.B. Jameson in 1964 at Pampa. He died in 1991. Survivors include two daughters, Vicky Ruth Collier of Colorado Springs, Colo. and Sharron K. Osborne of Miami; a stepdaughter, Nancy McDowell of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a stepson, D.B. Jameson Jr., of Birmingham, Ala.; two sisters, Mabel Wolfe of Canyon and Ruth Morrow of Vega; three grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; and a greatgrandchild. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Dreamland Cemetery at Canyon by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Prock was born in Alanreed and was a lifelong resident of Gray County. He joined the Army Air Corps, and graduated from Pampa Army Air Field. After graduation, he served as a flight instrument instructor at Enid, Okla. He worked for Cabot Corp. as the chief pilot until retiring in 1972. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church and the Pampa Optimist Club. He married Frances "Fern" McCormick in 1940 at Borger. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Joyce Tuggle of Harker Heights, Janie McPeak of Lancaster, Calif., and Jeanie Carden of Weatherford; a son, Monty Prock of Cushing, Okla.; a sister, Lola Carrier of Oklahoma City, Okla.; nine grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren. Tom Lawson TULIA - Tom Lawson, 85, died Saturday, May 22, 1999. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Bill Guenther, pastor officiating and Harold Drake, assisting. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery in Lubbock. Arrangements are by Wallace Funeral Home, Tulia. Mr. Lawson was born in El Paso and moved to the Liberty community, northeast of Lubbock, at an early age. He attended schools in Liberty. He married LuAlice Lawrence in 1935. She died in 1987. They farmed in Liberty until 1956, then they moved to Tulia, where they also farmed. Mr. Lawson married Frankie Pearson in 1988 at Plainview. He was a member of the Tulia Senior Citizens and the Assembly of God. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Clorene McDonald of Plainview; two sons, John Lawson of Hobbs, N.M., Gary Lawson of Midland, Texas; two stepdaughters, Swanee Gibson of Dassel, Minn., and Denna Huckabay of Tulia; a stepson, Doyle Elkins of Burleson, Texas; a brother, Les Lawson of Liberty Community; a sister, Martha Culpepper of Lubbock; seven grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; and eight stepgrandchildren. A native of Gladewater, Mrs. Green had lived in Fritch for 12 years and was a housewife. She married Don Green in 1973 in Waurika, Okla. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joe Tatum, in 1956 and her second husband, E.H. Daniel in 1987. Mrs. Shaw was born in Abilene and had lived in Sunray since 1940. She was a homemaker and a member of Sunray Baptist Church. She was a longtime member of the Women's Missionary Union. She married B.C. Shaw in 1934 at Happy. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1972 and by a son, Robert Shaw, in 1979. Survivors include two daughters, Medora Nowell of Dumas and Elaine Miller of Guymon, Okla.; a son, Don Shaw of Sunray; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Siegler Funeral Home of Matador. Mrs. King was born in Paris, France. She served in the Women's Air Corps as an interpreter until her retirement in 1971. She had been a Matador resident since 1971. She married Carl T. King in 1946 at Vallejo, Calif. He died in December. Survivors include two sons, Bill King of Matador and Tom King of Camino, Calif. Frances Lucile Walker Lantz LEFORS - Frances Lucile Walker Lantz, 95, died Monday, May 24, 1999. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Memorial Heights Cemetery in Lefors with the Rev. Lewis Ellis of the Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Lamb Funeral Home of McLean. Mrs. Lantz was born in Hominy (Indian Territory), Okla., and had lived in Lefors for more than 50 years. She was a homemaker and member of Las Pampas Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution, Gray County Historical Society, Beta Chi conclave of Kappa Kappa Iota and the Presbyterian church. She married John Lee Lantz in 1934 at Yellville, Ark. He died in 1973. Survivors include two daughters, Norma Lee Lantz of Lefors and Mary Jackson of Elephant Butte, N.M. Joseph Weldon Bybee BORGER - Joseph Weldon Bybee, 89, died Monday, May 24, 1999. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel with Dr. David Jones, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Good Shepherd in Westlawn Memorial Park. Mr. Bybee was born in Paris, Texas and had been a Borger resident since 1945. In 1976, he retired as a machinist for Pantex Ordinance. He also was a barber for 50 years and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. He married Bonita Adkins in 1936 at Jayton. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Ed Bybee of Stinnett, Harold Bybee of Borger and Wayne Bybee of Amarillo; a daughter, Helen Stanford of Amarillo; a brother, James Bybee of South Fork, Colo.; 12 grandchildren; and 13 greatgrandchildren. The family will be staying at 508 Alabama in Borger. Johnny Castillo TULIA - Johnny Castillo, 59, of Davenport, Iowa, died Sunday, May 23, 1999. Prayer services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Wallace Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Church of the Holy Spirit with the Rev. John Salazar-Jimenez officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia. Mr. Castillo was born in Frontera, Coahuila, Mexico and grew up in Mission where he attended schools. He was an auto mechanic. He lived in Plainview before moving to Davenport 20 years ago. Survivors include three daughters, Rosa Barrios of Oklahoma City and Maria Ester and Alta Gracia, both of Plainview; two sons, Juan Castillo of Dallas and Tony Castillo of Davenport; his parents, Refugio and Francisca Castillo of Tulia; a brother, Francisco Castillo of Tulia; and five sisters, Euby Reyna of Bloomington, Ill., Maria Martinez and Letaicia Contreras, both of Tulia, Pauline Garza of Hanover Park, Ill., and Eulalia Casarez of Lamesa. Brenda Martin PLAINVIEW - Brenda Martin, 45, died Sunday, May 23, 1999. Services will be at 4 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with Dr. Travis Hart, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Lemons Funeral Home of Plainview. Mrs. Martin was born in Amarillo and graduated from Plainview High School in 1972. In 1976, she received her degree in music education from Baylor University. She also received her kindergarten certification from Texas Tech. Mrs. Martin taught music in kindergarten since 1987 in Plainview at Thunderbird, College Hill and Highland schools. She also taught in Killeen, Waco and Petersburg. She was a life member of the Parents-Teachers Association. A recipient of several teaching honors, Mrs. Martin was a member of the Texas Music Educators Association and Music Educators National Conference. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she played the piano for children's choirs, the Ladies Ensemble and for special events. She married Randall Martin in 1973 at Plainview. He died in 1997. Survivors include her parents, Truitt and Joyce Whitehead of Plainview; a sister, Lou Ann Hinn of Plainview; and a brother, Steve Whitehead of Dallas. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Jackson, pastor of First Baptist Church of Morton, officiating. Burial will be in Morton Memorial Cemetery by Ellis Funeral Home of Morton. Mr. Taylor was born in Kent County and moved to Morton in 1940. He was a farmer and member of First Missionary Baptist Church of Morton. For 40 years, he was a volunteer fireman for Morton. Mr. Taylor had been mayor of Morton and was a Cochran County constable. From 1947 until 1970, he owned Morton Auto Parts. He owned Taylor and Son Furniture from 1960 until 1981. He married Melba Merrill in 1940 at Morton. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Jimmy Taylor of Ralls, Jerry Taylor of Post and Kenneth Taylor of Brownfield; two daughters, Mary Miller of DeKalb and Betty McCuller of Simms; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; 14 step-great-grandchildren; and two step-great-great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity. Minnie M. Jones MULESHOE - Minnie M. Jones, 87, of Farwell, died Sunday, May 23, 1999. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Muleshoe Memorial Park Cemetery with Condy Billingsley of Clovis, N.M., officiating. Arrangements are by Ellis Funeral Home of Muleshoe. Mrs. Jones was born in Clarendon and had been a resident of Farwell since 1970. She was a homemaker and member of Oklahoma Lane United Methodist Church in the Oklahoma Lane community. She married Oswell Thomas Jones in 1929 at Clarendon. He died in 1989. Survivors include two grandchildren, both of Farwell; and three nephews. Jesus R. Zapata TULIA - Jesus R. Zapata, 34, of Abilene, died Friday, May 21, 1999. Prayer services will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday in Wallace Funeral Home of Tulia. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia with the Rev. John Salazar-Jimenez officiating. Mr. Zapata was born and raised in Tulia where he attended schools. He was a member of Church of Holy Spirit. In 1997, he moved to Abilene. Survivors include two daughters, Margaret and Mercedes Zapata of Amarillo; his parents, Inez Zapata of Tulia and Mercedes Zapata of Amarillo; four sisters, Sylvia Mata of Denver and Gloria Martinez, Alice Menchaca and Connie Zapata, all of Tulia; and four brothers, Daniel Zapata and David Zapata, both of Tulia, Rudy Zapata of Canyon and Joe Zapata of Abilene. Amarillo Charley Richard Hagerman Charley Richard Hagerman, 61, of Amarillo, died Sunday, May 23, 1999. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel, 315 E. Fifth with Swanson Hagerman officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery with graveside services by Amarillo Masonic Lodge No. 731. Mr. Hagerman was an Air Force veteran and a bricklayer instructor at TSTI. He was a Baptist, a member of Amarillo Masonic Lodge No. 732 AF&AM and Union Local No. 19 for 40 years. He also was a member of Khiva Temple of Amarillo where he was in Muleskinners and Bedournes. He married Katie Caudill in 1957. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Richard "Dickie" Hagerman and Steve Hagerman, both of Amarillo; a daughter, Patricia Darlene McCormick of Amarillo; four brothers, Newton Hagerman and Swanson Hagerman, both of Amarillo, and Curtis Hagerman and Rufus Hagerman, both of Jolo, W.Va.; three sisters, Daisey Fain of Jolo and Georgia Mae Wiedner and Dixie Bruce, both of Ingles, Ind.; seven grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren. Lottie Lloyd Lottie Lloyd, 80, of Amarillo, died Monday, May 24, 1999. Services will be at 3 p.m. today in East Mausoleum Memorial Park Chapel with the Rev. J. Mrs. Lloyd was born in Quail and moved to Amarillo in 1942. She was a pharmacy clerk and a member of Southwest Baptist Church and the Multiple Sclerosis Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Lloyd. There are no known survivors. Dona Wood Dona Wood, 45, of Amarillo, died Sunday, May 23, 1999. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Northlawn Memorial Gardens in Dumas with the Rev. Douglas E. Wood, minister from Belton, officiating. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors in Dumas. Ms. Wood was born in Dumas and was an Amarillo resident for most of her life. She was a commercial artist. Survivors include her daughter, Chelsea Wood of Amarillo; her mother, Connie Maxwell of Amarillo; a brother, the Rev. Osage St. Mr. Chapman was born and raised in Amarillo. He graduated from Amarillo High School and West Texas State University with a bachelor degree in business administration. In 1994, he returned to Amarillo after living in Seattle for 10 years. Survivors include a son, Matthew Chapman of Seattle; and a sister, Jamie Williams of Amarillo. Services will be at 10 a.m. CDT Wednesday in Camp Billy Joe, one mile east of Kenton with the Rev. Andy Husted officiating. Burial will be in Kenton Cemetery by Watts Funeral Home of Madill. Mrs. Maxwell was born and raised in Clayton, N.M., where she attended Goodson Grade School and graduated from Clayton High School. She married Al Maxwell in 1994. Her first marriage was to John Lill Jr. in 1952. Her second marriage was in 1960 to Sam Sechler. She was preceded in death by a stepson, Bill Sechler. Mr. Vaughn was born in Hutchinson County. He married Ima Lilley Dodson in 1991 at Pearland. They had lived in Conal County for 24 years. He was a truck driver for Wal-Mart and a member of First Baptist Church of Spearman. He had served in the Army. Survivors include his wife; two children, Jaton Parker of Wallis and Jeff Dodson of Rosharon; a brother, Robert E. Roger Turner PHOENIX, Ariz. - Roger Turner, 23, formerly of Plainview, died Monday, May 17, 1999 in Phoenix. Services were Saturday at 2 p.m. in United Baptist Church at Plainview, Texas with the Rev. Ray McCoy officiating. Burial was in Plainview Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements were by Golden Gate Mortuary, 1416 N. Hughes St., Amarillo. Mr. Turner was born in Plainview. He moved to Phoenix in 1987 and he graduated from Saguaro High School in Scottsdale. He was a Baptist. Survivors include his mother, Sue Turner of Odessa, Texas; his father, Roger Turner Sr. of Huntsville, Texas; and a sister, Tenea Turner of Scottsdale. Jack Ewing McCallie Sr. SULPHUR SPRINGS - Jack Ewing McCallie Sr., 86, died Sunday, May 23, 1999. Memorial services will be at 4:30 p.m. today in Myra Wilson Chapel of City Cemetery with Dr. Boyd Sawyer and Jason Dietze officiating. A private graveside service was held for the family earlier today . Arrangements were by West Oaks Funeral Home Inc. Mr. McCallie was born in Alvarado. He was a supervisor with Perkins & Protho Oil Co. He retired in 1987 after 35 years. Mr. McCallie had been a resident of Sulphur Springs since 1995. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. He served in the Army Air Corps in World War II, and he was a former resident of Amarillo and Borger. He married Blanche Deloney in 1940 at Athens, La. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Peggy McCallie Dietze of Sulphur Springs; a son, Jack Ewing McCallie Jr., of Amarillo; a sister, Rosemary Pullin of Shreveport; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
