Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ted Latham officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton. Mrs. Chase was born in Perryton and raised in Booker. She graduated with honors from Booker High School in 1975 and was a member of the Perryton First Baptist Church. In 1979, she returned to the Perryton area. She was a homemaker. She married Jeff Chase in 1979 at Las Vegas. Survivors include her husband; a son, Tanner Chase of Perryton; a daughter, Jesse Chase of Perryton; a stepson, Seth Chase of Prescott, Ariz.; parents, Barbara and Junior Forney of Booker; a sister, Melinda Monk of Booker; her grandmother, Belva Smith of Perryton; and two grandchildren. Bucher, 83, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 1999. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Westlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Chris Riley, pastor of Central Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Garden of Beatitudes by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Mrs. Bucher was born in Clay County and moved to Borger in 1944 from Henrietta. She was a homemaker and member of Central Baptist Church. She married C.W. Bucher in 1948. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1971 and by a son, Bennie O'Neal, in 1985. Survivors include her daughter, Peggy J. Dawson of Borger; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. A native of Bremerton, Wash., Mr. West was a longtime Borger resident. He was a mechanic and a Baptist. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in BlackburnShaw Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street, with the Rev. Raymond Bowlin of Bushland Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mr. Giles was born in Amarillo where he was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Amarillo High School in 1948. He served in the Army during the Korean War. Survivors include a son, Gary Lee Giles; five sisters, Estelle Rea of Amarillo, Pauline Hooper of Phoenix, Ariz., Martha McBride of San Diego, Judy Avery of Plano, and Sarah Brennenstuhl of Evergreen, Colo.; a brother, Donald Giles of Colorado Springs, Colo.; nieces and nephews. "Bennie" Bruckner Sr., 95, of Amarillo, died Monday, Nov. 22, 1999. Services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday in San Jacinto United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Fitzgerald, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Llano Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mr. Bruckner was born in Austin and raised near Lubbock. He graduated from Chicago Engineering Works Inc. He moved to Amarillo and worked at the Southwestern Public Service Power Plant from 1927 to 1935. He started Bruckner's Garage in a shop behind a house at 2218 Sanborn. The company became the exclusive Mack Truck distributor in Amarillo in 1948. In 1964, Bruckner moved into the company's present facility at 8351 E. Amarillo Blvd. In 1950, Bruckner served on the Mack Advisory Council and in 1975 received the Mack Service Award. Mr. Bruckner was a charter member and a president of the North Amarillo Kiwanis Club. He had served as a Potter County precinct chairman in 1952, was a past Boy Scout committeeman for Troop 27, and was a member of the Amarillo Knife and Fork Club. He had been a member of San Jacinto United Methodist Church more than 60 years. He married Willie Mae McClure in 1928 at Lubbock. Survivors include his wife; a son, Ben Bruckner Jr. of Amarillo; a daughter, Anna Ruth Passmore of Lubbock; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Amarillo Daily News, Nov. 27, 1999 A.M. White A.M. White, 79, of Amarillo, died Friday, Nov. 26, 1999. Services will be at 4 p.m. today in Johnson Funeral Home Chapel in Childress with the Rev. Chris Ford, pastor of Kingswood United Methodist Church in Amarillo, officiating. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery in Childress. Mr. White was born in Childress and was a veteran of the Army Air Corps. From 1947 until 1958, he was a printer for the Childress Index. He then worked as a printer for newspapers in Pecos, Bowie, Odessa and Wichita Falls. In Amarillo, Mr. White was a member of Kingswood United Methodist Church. He also was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. Survivors include two daughters, Jan Collins and Sandra King, both of Amarillo; a son, Bill White of Mulhall, Okla.; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Amarillo Daily News, Nov. 27, 1999 Laura Canida Laura Canida, of Amarillo, died Friday, Nov. 26, 1999. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors, Pioneer Chapel 2615 Paramount Blvd., with the Rev. Robert Field, pastor of Southeast Baptist Church, officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis. Mrs. Canida was born in Clarksville and moved to Hall County in 1939. She helped her husband farm and was a homemaker. She retired as a waitress in Memphis and moved to Amarillo in 1996. She married Wheeler Canida in 1929 at Hugo, Okla. He died in 1957. She also was preceded in death by two sons, James Canida and W.C. Canida, both in 1998. Survivors include four daughters, Joyce Collins of Wichita, Kan., and Clara McCauley, Naydean Hill and Imogene Merrill, all of Amarillo; three sons, Charles Canida of Amarillo, Ronald Canida of Kaufman and Robert Canida of Dallas; 26 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. They suggest memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice. Wood Auditorium with Leslie White, John Wegter and Gilbert Reese officiating. Burial will be in Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton. Mr. Price was born in Union County. A lifelong resident of Union County, he farmed and ranched north of Clayton. He married Frances Miller in 1946 at Clayton. She died in 1998. Survivors include a daughter, Joy Blubaugh of Iola, Kan.; three sons, Jim Price of Albuquerque, Joe Price of Happy, Texas and Jon Price of Clayton; two sisters, Minnie Shannon of Clayton and Molly Anna Hess of Vale, Ore.; a brother, Clark Price of Muleshoe, Texas; five grandsons; and a great-grandson.
