Mrs. Wisian was born in Travis County and worked as an Avon representative. She was a member of Earth United Methodist Church. She married Hilbert Wisian in 1927 at Neiderwald. He died in 1982. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Elroy Wisian Sr., and Harold Wisian. Survivors include two sons, Ralph Wisian of Amarillo and Hilbert Wisian of Muleshoe; a daughter, Kathleen Hawkins Blackstock of Abilene; a sister, Irma Schaefer of Houston; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Phillips PERRYTON - Raymond R. Phillips, 79, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 1999, at McLean. Cremation was held. There are no services planned at this time. Arrangements were by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mr. Phillips was born in Quinlin, Okla., and had been a resident of Perryton for 40 years. He served for one year in the Civilian Conservation Corps. He was a member of Perryton Veteran's of Foreign Wars and the Wellington Kansas Post. Mr. Phillips was an Army veteran serving with the 1469th Engineer Maintenance Co. For three years, he was stationed in the Aleutian Islands. He served with the Army National Guard from 1942 until 1950. He married Ashia C. Hitchcock in 1949 at Stinnett. Survivors include his wife of McLean; a son, Steve Phillips of Pampa; two daughters, Linda Mosier of Spearman and Patricia George of Enid, Okla.; a brother, Donald Phillips of California; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Mr. Potter was born in Tucumcari, N.M., and had lived in Borger 51 years. He was the retired owner of Hutchinson Aircraft Service and Sales and had worked at Potter-Tweed Insurance Co. for 25 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Borger and the Junior Chamber of Commerce. He was a Mason in Isom Lodge 1242 and a member of the Scottish Rite Consistory. He had perfect attendance for 30 years at the Borger Rotary Club and was active in the P.A.C. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He married Frankie Snyder in 1948 at Borger. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Paulette Potter of Dallas and Bonnie Brodeur of Amarillo; a son, Tracy Potter of Billings, Mont.; and a granddaughter. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery by Gililland-Watson Funeral Home. Mr. Hastings was born in Tulia and moved to Deaf Smith County in 1917 from Tulia. In 1939 he opened and managed Carl McCaslin Lumber Co. He then became involved in cattle farming and was past owner of Deaf Smith Feed Yard. Mr. Hastings was president of the Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Hereford school board, and was a charter member of the Texas Cattlemen's Association and the National Cattlemen's Association. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Hereford where he served as deacon, elder and trustee. He married Mittie Roberts in 1931 at Oklahoma City. Survivors include his wife; a son, Wayne Hastings of Chula Vista, Calif.; three sisters, Ina Mae Gilbreath and Ruth Temple Hill, both of Hereford and Doris Jean Hill of Hale Center; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Doughty, 92, of Amarillo, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 1999. Masonic graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Alva Cemetery in Alva, Okla. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mr. Doughty was born in Alva. In 1930 he received his bachelor's degree in science from Northwestern Normal College. He taught at schools in western Oklahoma and eastern Kansas. In 1951, he moved to Amarillo where he and his wife were house parents and teachers at Boys Ranch. From 1952 until his retirement he was a crop loss adjuster for St. Paul Insurance. Mr. Doughty was inducted into the Reydon Masonic Lodge and was a perpetual member of the Guthrie, Okla., lodge. He was a member of the First Christian Church and the Congenial Couples Class. He married Vina Elizabeth Gourley in 1927. She died in 1987. Survivors include his wife; four sons, Steven Culiver of Tacoma, Wash., Harry Culiver Jr. and Richard Culiver, both of Dallas, and Marvin Culiver of Amarillo; a stepson, Charlie Aguirre of Tucumcari; two daughters, Paula Culiver Sutton of Clovis and Carla Culiver Olivier of Houston; two brothers, Calvin Culiver and Marvin D.
