Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Price-Jackson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Quanah Memorial Park. Mr. Daniel was born in Harmon County, Okla., graduated from high school in Gould, Okla., and moved to Quanah in 1975. He worked for B.F. Goodrich for 18 years before becoming co-owner of Daniel Truck Parts in Quanah. He served with the Navy and was a Baptist. He married Carol Lee Daniel in 1971 at Dallas. She died in 1992. Survivors include two daughters, Linda Granucci of North Richland Hills and Angela Tharp of San Francisco; a son, Jimmie Daniel Jr., of North Richland Hills; a stepdaughter, Donna Childs of Dallas; two brothers, Jerry Bruce Daniel and Clovis Cary Daniel Jr., both of Quanah; a sister, Melba June Crabtree of Quanah; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild. He was active with the Red Cross and a member of Franklin Street Church of Christ. Mr. DeVore was born in Jet, Okla., and had lived in Borger for 51 years. He was a veteran of the Army and retired as a maintenance supervisor from Phillips Petroleum Company after 37 years. He married Anna Bea in 1974 at Borger. Survivors include his wife; two sons, W.A. DeVore of Tulsa, Okla., and H.A. DeVore of Bartlesville, Okla.; a daughter, Connie Park of Austin; four brothers, Ray DeVore of Enid, Okla., Frank and A.D. Mr. Garrett was born in Fort Worth and graduated from River Road High School in 1988. He served with the Navy in Japan for three years and was a veteran of the Persian Gulf War. After living in Long Beach, Calif., and San Diego, he returned to Amarillo in 1993 and moved to Boys Ranch as a house parent in 1998. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Canyon. He married Julie Hudson in 1991. Broadhurst, 90, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 1999, in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Gruver Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Broadhurst officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman. Mr. Broadhurst was born in Tuttle, Okla., graduated from Spearman High School and attended West Texas State University. In 1960, he moved to Parmer County, where he farmed until his retirement in 1982. For two years, he lived at the Craig Retirement Community in Amarillo. He married Donna Nell Murphy in 1932 at Clovis, N.M. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Charles Broadhurst of Amarillo and Jimmy Broadhurst of Houston; a daughter, Geraldine Dooley of Borger; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Porter was born in Kansas and was a homemaker. She moved to Senior Village Nursing Home in Perryton 10 years ago from Fowler, Kan. She married Walter A. Porter in 1936. He died in 1984. Ninth Ave. Mrs. Watson was born in Hall County and moved to Amarillo in 1944 from Hedley. She was a homemaker and had worked as a retail sales clerk. She was a member of Western Cow Punchers Association, Amarillo Senior Citizens and Church of Christ in Hedley. She married Richard Earl Watson in 1935 at Memphis. He died in 1992. Survivors include two daughters, Martha "Pat" Spray of Amarillo and Edith Joy "Boots" Wells of Roaring Springs; a son, Johnny W. Watson of Casa Grande, Ariz.; two sisters, Mae Porter and Ruby Aaron, both of Amarillo; three brothers, Jett Hoggard and Jim Hoggard, both of Big Spring, and Gene Hoggard of Georgia; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Stapf was born in Franklin County, Neb., and had lived in Amarillo since 1942. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she was in the Altar Guild, taught Sunday school and worked as a secretary, treasurer and bookkeeper. She later worked at San Jacinto United Methodist Church as a bookkeeper until her retirement. Her husband, Lowell H. Stapf Sr., died in 1953. She was also preceded in death by two sons; Allen Lowell Stapf in 1946 and Lee Dale Stapf in 1999. Survivors include a son, Donald Eric Stapf of Minneapolis; a daughter, Sylvia Rose Sims of Amarillo; a stepson, Lowell H. Stapf Jr., of Amarillo; a sister, Lorna Wendt of Tempe, Ariz.; two brothers, Delmer Mitchell and Raymond Mitchell, both of Julesburg, Colo.; two grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren. She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, where she served as a Guadalupanas. She married John Dominguez in 1946 at Amarillo. Woolworth Company. She was a member of Westview Christian Church and a member of and volunteer for Senior Citizens. Survivors include six sons, Sonny Honea, Calvin Honea and Cecil Honea, all of Amarillo, L.C. Honea of Shreveport, La., Jeff Honea of Fort Worth and Andy Honea of Wichita Falls; a daughter, Flonnie Bryant of Amarillo; two brothers, Clarence Hicks of Leary and A.J. Mr. Szaloy was born in Oklahoma Territory and moved to Quay County in 1906. After his marriage to Loretta Hilton in 1926 at Clovis, they farmed in the Grady area until moving to Tucumcari in 1995. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Arthur Joe Szaloy of Hesperia, Calif., Bill Szaloy of Grady and Lawrence Szaloy of Tucumcari; a daughter, Kathern Herber of Texline, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Ortwein was born in Tulia, graduated from Plainview High School in Plainview and attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock. She was a student teacher for Humble Independent School District while attending Sam Houston State University and was to have graduated in December. She was a member of Martha's Catholic Church in Kingswood. Survivors include two sons, Jessie Ryan Ortwein and Zachary Taylor Ortwein, both of Kingwood; her parents, Billy and Becky McCaslin of Tulia; three sisters, Connie Perkins and Rita TaylorHayhurst, both of Amarillo and Amanda Williams of New Braunfels; and a brother, David Lee McCaslin of Rye, Colo.
