Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Earth United Methodist Church with the Rev. Larry Burton of Spur and the Rev. Henry R. Stone of Earth officiating. Burial will be in Earth Memorial Cemetery by Parsons-Ellis Funeral Home of Earth. Mrs. Parish was born in Reed, Okla., and was class valedictorian of her senior class. For 33 years, she was a school teacher in Texas and Oklahoma. Mrs. Parish was a member of the United Methodist Church of Spur, Order of Eastern Star Chapter 870 of Earth, the State Teacher's Association and Earth Town and Country Study Club. She married Clive Peyton Parish in 1938 at Canyon. He died in 1967. Survivors include a daughter, Dixie Cornett of Afton; a son, Dennis Parish of Visalia, Calif.; a brother, Harley Bulls of Levelland; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Amarillo Daily News, Oct. 29, 1999 Thomas Sidney Bunting Jr. PAMPA - Thomas Sidney Bunting Jr., 79, died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 1999. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Miami Cemetery with the Rev. Darrell Evans, pastor of the First Christian Church of Miami, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Bunting was born in Pampa, where he had been a lifelong resident. During World War II, he served in the Coast Guard and Navy. He was a car salesman for about 30 years, a member of the First Christian Church and the Pampa American Legion Post. He married Lucille Woodall in 1946 at New Mexico. She died in 1992. Burial will be in Memorial Heights Cemetery in Lefors by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mrs. Wells was born in Kingfisher, Okla., and moved to Lefors in 1957. She was a registered nurse at Coronado and Groom hospitals for 34 years, retiring in 1993. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lefors. She married Byron Wells in 1954 at Wheeler. He died in 1957. Survivors include a son, Thomas Byron Wells Jr. of Amarillo; three brothers, Carl Snethen of Moore, Okla., Ben Snethen of Chino, Calif., and Al Snethen of Cheyenne, Okla; and two grandchildren. Mrs. Atkinson was born in Milam County and married Charlie Atkinson in 1928 in Floydada. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1948. She attended schools in Bono Community and Fullbright and graduated from Lakeview. Mrs. Fawver moved to Floyd County from Fullbright in 1915. She was a retired homemaker. She was a member of the Home Demonstration Club, Senior Citizens and First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school. She married Roy Leslie Fawver in 1916 at Floyd County. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1980; and two sons, William Earl Fawver and Thomas Leslie Fawver. Survivors include a son, R.C. Richardson, 34, died Monday, Oct. 25, 1999, in Colorado Springs, Colo. Mr. Richardson was born in Lubbock. In 1998, he moved to Colorado Springs where he was a parachute instructor at the Air Force Academy. He was a rigger and a member of the Wings of Blue cadet parachute team. For nine years, Mr. Richardson was a combat search and rescue instructor. He had been in the Air Force for 10 years after working in the oil fields around McLean. He married Jacquelyn G. Koelling in 1988. Survivors include his wife; a son, Dalton Ray Richardson of the home; a daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Richardson of the home; his parents, Roy and Mary Richardson of McLean; two brothers, Bobby Richardson and Carey Richardson, both of McLean; and his grandmother, Myrtle Holloway of McLean. He had lived in Stratford for the past 14 years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. In 1986, he retired as prep plant foreman for Carbon Coal in Gallup. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving from 1942 until 1946. He married Lucille Gammond in 1946 at Dalhart. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Clay Hills and Mike Hills, both of Gallup; two sisters, Ruth Naugle of Stratford and Janice Gibson of Canyon; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. He was a mechanic for West Texas Caterpillar for two years and a member of Highland Baptist Church. Survivors include his parents, Chuck and Louise Light of Amarillo; two daughters, Chasta Light and Diedre Light, both of Amarillo; a stepdaughter, Chante Garza of Amarillo; a sister, Carol Bevel of Stratford, Okla; and two grandchildren. Mrs. Topper was born in Minco and was raised in Mayfield near Erick. She attended grade school and high school in Sweetwater then worked for a family in Erick. After her marriage, Mrs. Topper farmed with her husband in Sweetwater until they moved to Boise City in 1968. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She married Joe Topper in 1939 at Mayfield. He died in 1997. She married J.J. "Tinker" Graham in 1953 at Levelland. Her first marriage was to Mermon Kennedy in 1930. He died in 1947. She also was preceded in death by two sons, Jimmy Kennedy and Billy Bob Kennedy.
