Services will be at 2 p.m. today in N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors Pioneer Chapel, 2615 Paramount Blvd., with Dr. Stan Coffey, pastor of San Jacinto Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mr. Killian, born in Canadian and raised in Adrian, moved to Amarillo in 1950. He had been a butcher and owned and operated Vega Meat Co. at Vega from 1967 until 1976. He was an ordained Baptist minister and had served as associate pastor for Calvary Baptist Church from 1981 until 1985. Mr. Killian was a member of San Jacinto Baptist Church, where he was in the homebound ministry. He married Eula Mae Miller in 1951 at Clovis, N.M. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Melinda Wilburn of Amarillo and Connie Roberds of Gordonville; two sons, Ted Killian of Amarillo and Rowdy Killian of Gordonville; two brothers, Joe Killian of Amarillo and Jimmy Killian of Pleasanton; a sister, Veneita Brudvik of Palm Springs, Calif.; and 13 grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to the American Heart Association; the American Lung Association; or a favorite charity. The family will be at 7811 Bluebonnet. Amarillo Daily News, Dec. 31, 1999 Wanda Webb Wanda Webb, 73, of Amarillo, died Friday, Dec. 24, 1999. Services were at 2 p.m. Thursday in The Worship Center with Danny Wampler, pastor, officiating. Cremation was handled by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Webb was born in Tipton, Okla., and had lived in Amarillo most of her life. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and also attended San Jacinto Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Webb, in 1994. Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Jackson of Amarillo; her mother, Juanita Short of Amarillo; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Grace Southern Baptist Church in Guymon with the Rev. Aaron Summers, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery by Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon. Mrs. Byers was born in Guymon where she attended schools and was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was a member of the Texas County Sheriffs Posses and led the Pioneer Day Parade as Posse Queen. She married Antonio Lee Byers in 1974. Survivors include four children, Peaches Louise, Nicolas Antonio, Carey Elizabeth and Angela Marie, all of Guymon; her father and stepmother, Shorty and Dolores Johnson of Guymon; a brother, Jerry Johnson of Guymon; a sister, Lisa Durbin of Guymon; and a stepsister, Donna Emberton of Woodward. Mann, 105, formerly of Tyrone, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Baptist Church of Tyrone with the Rev. Karl Heil, pastor, and the Rev. Jim Maynard of Beaver, officiating. Arrangements are by Roberts Brothers Funeral Home of Hooker. Mr. Mann was born in Craig, Mo. He was educated in Tyrone and spent most of his life in the area. He enlisted in the Army in 1918 during World War I and served until 1919. He was awarded a purple heart for bravery and the French Legion of Honor award. He was a member of the Floyd L. Perry American Legion Post of Miami and the Moore-McCoy Veterans of Foreign War Post 2688 of Miami and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Miami. He had worked as a mechanic at the Ford garage in Tyrone for 16 years and then began working for the U.S. Postal service from 1935 until he retired in 1964 as a rural mail carrier at the age of 70. He married Dora Carson in 1919 at Liberal, Kan. She died in 1982. He also was preceded in death by a son, H.F. Mann Jr. in 1957. Survivors include a son, Warren Mann of DeSoto, Kan.; a daughter, Marie Payton of Miami; a sister, Katie Ballard of Abilene; seven grandchildren; 15 greatgrandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church of Melrose with the Rev. Bill Johnston officiating. Burial will be in Melrose Cemetery at Melrose by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis. Mrs. Porter was born in Lone Wolf and had been a resident of Melrose since 1946. She was a housewife and had been the director of the Melrose Senior Citizens Center from 1974 to 1976. She was a member of the Melrose Order of the Eastern star. She married Thomas Lynn Porter in 1934 at Marlow. He died in 1997. Survivors include a son, Tommy Porter of Albuquerque; two daughters, Fana Lou Miles of Roswell and Sondra Miles of Pensacola, Fla.; a sister, Belle Hogland of Deer Park, Texas; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. Gant was born in Chicago, Ill., and moved to Clovis four years ago from Honolulu. She was a housewife and a member of Triangle Baptist Church of Clovis. She married Troy Gant in 1982. Billy Rammage, pastor, and the Rev. Chip Bryant, pastor of First Baptist Church of Texline, Texas, officiating. Burial will be in Rinker Cemetery near Seneca by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton. Mrs. Rinker was born in Fort Sumner and graduated from Clayton High School in 1948. She graduated with an associate degree from Amarillo College and Northwest Texas School of Nursing and became a registered nurse. She later earned her bachelor's degree in nursing. Mrs. Rinker lived in Bayfield, Colo., from 1952 until 1962 when she returned to Clayton. In 1962, she was employed as a nurse in the Clayton hospital then served as director of nurses from 1963 until 1984. She received her bachelor's degree in medical records management. She married Rex Lee Rinker in 1950 at Santa Rosa. He died in March. Survivors include a son, Gary Rinker of Clayton; two daughters, Cheryl Callis of Texline and Kay Irwin of Nara Visa; her father, Fred McIntyre of Bayfield; two sisters, Betty Wyatt of Oklahoma City and Carolyn Taylor of Bayfield; a brother, Donald McIntyre of Bayfield; and eight grandchildren. Mr. Barkley was born in Lexington and attended Cody Grade School and Adams Middle School in North Platte. He attained his GED and was employed at NetQuest. He was a member of Episcopal Church of Our Savior. Survivors include his father and stepmother, Phil and Lisa Anslover Barkley of North Platte; his mother, Chris Vieyra of North Platte; two stepsisters, Nicole and Shannon Anslover; and his grandmothers, Chris Barkley of Amarillo and Velma Orcutt of North Platte. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church Chapel with Dr. Max Browning of the church officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home of Plainview. Mr. Klemm was born and raised in Medford, Wis. He graduated from Granton Township High School, then served with the Army's 17th Airborne Division during World War II. In 1952, he graduated from the University of Illinois. For 38 years, Mr. Klemm worked as a procurement agent for Campbell Soup Co., retiring in 1990. He moved to Plainview in 1964. He was a 50-year member of American Legion Gurnee Post and a member of First United Methodist Church of Plainview. He married Barbara Davis in 1950 at Waukegan, Ill. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Linda Buttram of Raton, N.M., and Carol Worley of Houston; two sons, Jeffrey Klemm of Houston and Jack Klemm of Fort Worth; a brother, Larry Klemm of Gurnee, Ill.; a sister, Bernice Enyeart of Huntington, Ind.; and nine grandchildren. John Spangler, minister of Trinity Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Price-Jackson Funeral Home. Mrs. Chambliss was born in St. Louis, Mo., and had lived in Quanah since 1996. She was a homemaker and member of the First Assembly of God. She married Albert "Doc" Chambliss in 1969. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1981 and a daughter, Joyce Marie Henry. He was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include his wife, Doris Eason of Childress; nieces and nephews. Amarillo Daily News, Dec. 31, 1999 Aldah Hevron Allen DALHART - Aldah Hevron Allen, 90, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Stratford Cemetery with Ray M. Guy, senior minister of First Christian Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Hass Funeral Home of Dalhart. Mrs. Allen was born in Spencer, Okla., and attended schools in Canadian and Amarillo. After employment as chief cashier at the CIT Corp., of Amarillo, she was a gas measurement clerk for Canadian River Gas in 1944. After her marriage, Mrs. Allen lived in Amarillo for six years while she and her husband renovated the Walker pioneer home. In 1951, the property was traded for a farm and ranch land in the Coldwater community. She married Eual "Buck" W. Allen in 1946 at Amarillo. Survivors include her husband; nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Earth Memorial Cemetery with Eric Dickey of Crescent Drive Church of Christ in Littlefield officiating. Arrangements are by Parsons-Ellis Funeral Home of Earth. Mrs. McCleskey was born in Kingfisher County, Oklahoma. In 1935, she moved to Earth from Holdenville, Okla. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Earth and was a homemaker. She married Glen McClesky in 1932 at Holdenville. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1993 and by a daughter, Shirley Largent, in 1998. Survivors include two daughters, Norma Barden of Earth and Virginia Largent of Lubbock; a sister, Ruby Seavers of California; a brother, Johnny Blassingame of Euclid, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
