Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Steele was born in Marble Falls and moved to Amarillo in 1965. She was a pianist and former school teacher. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. She married Terence R. Steele in 1951 at Marble Falls. Survivors include her husband; a son, Tommy R. Steele of Wichita Falls; a daughter, Diana Warren of Amarillo; a sister, Winona Fitzgerald of Green Valley, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, Quail Creek Congregation. Mrs. Roark had lived in Amarillo since 1950. She was a homemaker. She married John C. Roark in 1934 at Amarillo. He died in 1967. Survivors include a son, James M. Roark of Jacksonville, Ark.; a half-sister, June Compton of Clovis; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He had lived in Clovis since the early 1950s. He was a Baptist. He married Emma Cone in 1951 at Clovis. Mr. Phipps was born in Tulsa, Okla. He graduated from Central High School of Tulsa in 1948 and then joined the Marines. He worked for McDonald Douglass in Tulsa and then began ranching in 1971. He married Elizabeth Roberts in 1949 at Tulsa. In 1979 they moved to Clayton, where they lived for the past 21 years. He was a member of the Clayton Gospel Church. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Rick Phipps of Owasso, Okla., Monte Phipps of Frankfort, Germany, and Mike Phipps of Clayton; a brother, John Phipps Jr. of Tulsa; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was a veteran and had been a janitor for Cannon Air Force Base. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 117. He married Velma Patton in 1956 at Portales. He was preceded in death by a son, Elton Lee Jackson. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Cimarron Mortuary Chapel with Frank Lynch officiating. Burial will be in Boise City Cemetery. Mr. Jones was born in Tahlequah and attended schools there. During World War II he worked in a defense plant making ammunition. In 1945, he moved to Boise City, where he worked for the Godown Ranch. He retired in 1984 from the Oklahoma State Highway Department. He married Mary McClelland in 1944 at Wagoner. She preceded him in death. Survivors include two sons, Stanley Dale Jones of Arlington, Texas, and Raymond Darrell Jones of Boise City; two daughters, Marlene Clifton and Rita Montgomery, both of Boise City; two brothers, Frank W. Jones of Ada and Joseph W. Jones of Sulphur, La.; a sister, Ella Mae Gadash of Brush, Colo.; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Gill was born on the family farm south of Miami and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Miami High School. He was a longtime farmer and rancher. He served on the Miami Independent School District board of trustees and the Roberts County Livestock Show board. He was a volunteer firefighter and had served as fire chief. He was a member of the Top O'Texas Fellowship of Christian Cowboys. He cooked for the K Land Chuck Wagon and the Honey Do Spoiler Chuck Wagon in competition and catering. Mr. Gill married Sarah Ellzey in 1962 at Miami. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Gwen Campbell of Amarillo and Mary Ann Cox of Claude; a sister, Sharle Black of Borger; a brother, J.R. Gill of Amarillo; and two granddaughters. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church with F.W. Scott, elder of Primitive Baptist Church of Tulia, and the Rev. Randy Mullin, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Silverton Cemetery by MyersLong Funeral Directors. Mrs. Boyce was born at Coryell. She moved to Briscoe County with her family in 1908. She attended school at Francis and Rock Creek. She married George Harold Boyce in 1921 at Silverton. They farmed in Briscoe County until 1938 when they moved to the San Luis Valley in Colorado. They returned to Silverton in 1972. Her husband died in 1979. Mrs. Boyce lived in Silverton until 1999, when she moved to Plainview. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church in Tulia. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Lilly Leona Boyce, in 1931. Survivors include three sons, Alvie Boyce of Crestone, Colo., Harvey Carrol Boyce of Lubbock, and Harold Wayne Boyce of El Paso; two daughters, Lottie Garrison of Silverton and Joy Bornschein of Anchorage, Alaska; 16 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 20 great-greatgrandchildren; and three great-great-greatgrandchildren. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. She married Johnnie Penland in 1936 at Altus, Okla. He died in 1999. Survivors include a son, Ennis Penland of Amarillo; two sisters, Anna Lou Barnes of Corpus Christi and Vaneta Cantrell of Pampa; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Zielke was born in Monette, Ark. She attended school in Texline. She worked at the round house, switching trains. Later she worked at the drive-in theater and then the Nursanickel Motel. She married Elias Zielke in 1953 at Clayton. He preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by a son, Larry Dutcher. Survivors include two sons, Donald Zielke of Whitesboro and Tim Zielke of Dalhart; a daughter, Peggy Irene Miller of Usage Beach, Mo.; a stepson, Larry Zielke of Balko, Okla.; three stepdaughters, Rossie Zugg of Odessa, Alive McEvers of Dalhart and Joan Lackey of Visalia, Calif.; a sister, Willie Lee Clawson of Spearman; 28 grandchildren; 39 greatgrandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
