Mrs. Wilton was born in Milford and moved to Hall County as a young girl. She had worked for the Amarillo GlobeNews. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Edgar Garner and George Wilton; by a daughter, Susan Elizabeth Anderson; and by a stepdaughter, Alice Oliphant. Survivors include a son, Paul Edgar Garner of San Diego; a stepdaughter, Diane Allen of Tigard, Ore.; two brothers, Marvin Leary of Childress and Morris Leary of Seattle; two sisters, Peggy Leatherwood of Tyler and Eunice Nail of Holly Hill, Fla.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She married Burley G. Gressett in 1943 at Comanche County. He died in 1997. Mr. Barker was born in Ridgeway, Mo. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He moved from Montrose, Iowa, to Amarillo in 1977. He was a retired salesman and a member of Bykota Baptist Church. Mr. Lusk was born in Milwaukee, Wis. and lived in Amarillo over 30 years. He was an Airborne Ranger, serving during the Korean War and was wounded in action in 1952. He was owner and operator of Lusky's Pest Control for many years. He married Glenda Puryear in Albuquerque, N.M. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Stacy Bryce. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Mrs. Washbourne was born in Wheeler County. She graduated from Lefors High School in 1936. She lived in Pampa from 1942 to 1963, then moved to Guymon, Okla. While in Guymon she worked for the Selective Service system. She moved back to Pampa in 1976. She worked for J.C. Penney and Bentley's Clothing Store. She was a homemaker and active in community events and activities in the Hopkins Independent School District. She was a member of First Baptist Church, the Anna Sunday school class and Pampa Chapter No. 65 of the Order of the Eastern Star. She married Franklin Earl Palmitier in 1937. He died in 1976. She also was preceded in death by a son, Franklin Earl Palmitier Jr., in 1966. She married Forrest C. Washbourne in 1979. Survivors include her husband; a son, Larry L. Palmitier of Lakewood, Colo.; a daughter, Sandra Waters of Pampa; a sister, Maxine Liggins of Pampa; a granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Shrubs was born in Tenaha and was a longtime resident of Wellington. He attended Booker T. Washington School. During the Korean War he served in the Army. He worked as a farmer for Troy Gene Thomason and the late John Coffee. He was living in Wichita Falls at the time of his death. He married Bobbie Bishop in 1951 at Tucumcari, N.M. He was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Joe Shrubs, in 1996. Mr. Brown was born in Logan County, Okla. and spent most of his young life in and around Darrouzett, where he attended Sunset and Darrouzett schools. He was a veteran of the Army, serving with the 101st Airborne Unit "Screamin' Eagles," during the Korean War. He worked for Cabot Corp. until the early 1960s. He owned Blackwell Office Machines. He married Maurita Turner in 1979 at Las Vegas. Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Fairview Cemetery at Pampa. Mr. Fry was born in raised in Pampa. He attended Clarendon College and Amarillo College. He worked as a paramedic for the Rural-Metro Ambulance in Pampa and the Amarillo Nursing Center in Amarillo before moving to Egan in 1997. Survivors include his children, Darryl Taylor of Egan and Mark McKinney of Amarillo; and a sister, Mia Hunter of Pampa.
