She moved to Amarillo in 1972. She retired from the Amarillo Independent School District as a teacher in the Region XVI Education Service Center Head Start Program. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. She married Raul Ramiro Bernal in 1961 at Alice. He died in 1992. Survivors include five daughters, Lucy Bernal, Betty Berge, Lydia Munoz and Melba Bernal, all of Amarillo, and Dora Martinez of Stephenville; two sons, David Bernal and Raul Ramiro Bernal Jr., both of Amarillo; five sisters, Ophelia Porras, Marcy Gonzales and Maria Elena Pena, all of San Antonio, and Katie Paez and Eva Hernandez, both of Alice; two brothers, Francisco Rodriguez of Kingsville and Jose Rodriguez of Alice; and 15 grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday at her new home next door to her son, Rex Craig. She grew up in Hereford and attended Southern Methodist University. She married William Harold Hicks, a Baptist minister, in 1927 at Hereford. They pastored churches in Wink, Concordia, Winfield, Kan.; and in Little Rock where they led the Pulaski Heights Baptist Church for more than 30 years. They retired in Little Rock and she moved to Amarillo in 1999. She was preceded in death by her husband. Survivors include three sons, Joe Harold Hicks of Boston and William Douglas Hicks and John David Hicks, both of Amarillo; a daughter, Catherine Ione Hicks Lee of Baton Rouge, La.; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Arrangements are by Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home. Mr. Bostick was born in Wanette. He graduated from Hart High School in Hart, Texas. He moved to Guymon in 1972 from Texhoma. He farmed and also worked in the parts department and as an irrigation engine mechanic with Nash Brothers Implement before opening his own business, J&G Engines. He retired in 1994. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and attended First Baptist Church. Mr. Bostick married Judith Arlene Combs in 1989 at Rawlins, Wyo. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Darla Kay Davis of Borger, Texas; five stepchildren, Conya Rupp of Purdy, Mo., Kevin Jones, Debra Schutte and Kif Sides, all of Guymon, and Kenny Sides of Amarillo; two brothers, Howard Bostick of Lubbock, Texas, and Darrell Bostick of Broken Bow; three stepsisters, Rosalea Griffith of Liberal, Kan., Janet Taylor of Oklahoma City and Beverly Bostick of Seminole; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Alexander was born in Clayton and moved to Elkhart in 1956. She did clerical work in Elkhart. She married John B. Alexander in 1952 at Clayton. He died in 1995. He was a member of First Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and choir director. He was a member of the Earth Senior Citizens. Mr. Sanders married Oletha Strickland in 1941 at Earth. He was preceded in death by a son, Sandy Sanders, in 1993. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Pruda Fults of Hereford; two sisters, Clota Belle Kelley of Earth and Ima Faye Weems of Westminster, Calif.; a brother, Jim Sanders of Spring; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He married Eloise Pike in 1925. He was preceded in death by a son, Calvin Loyd Haws, and a daughter, Vickie Trainer. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Muleshoe Memorial Park in Muleshoe with Dr. Stacy Conner, pastor of First Baptist Church in Muleshoe, officiating. Arrangements are by Lemons Funeral Home. Mr. Glenn was born in Wilbarger County and was a farmer for 60 years. For 40 years he farmed near Muleshoe and was a member of Longview Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School and was a deacon. He married Mildred Ray McDowell in 1928 at Canyon. She died in 1991. He also was preceded in death by two daughters, Eddie Ray Kiokholm and Winona Allen. Survivors include a daughter, Bobby Stephens of San Marcos, Calif.; a sister, Ada Chambers of Deming, N.M., and formerly of Amarillo; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Beaty was born in Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School. She moved to Amarillo in 1952, Lubbock in 1954, California in 1959, Abilene in 1960 and back to Plainview in 1996. She worked for Furr's Supermarkets in Plainview and Abilene and was a member of Parkview Baptist Church in Abilene. She married Burris B. "Boots" Beaty in 1977 at Abilene. Her first marriage was to James J. Eden in 1948. He died in 1970. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Ann Hightower and Kay McNeer, both of Abilene; two sons, Jacky Eden of Plainview and Darrel Eden of Abilene; a brother, the Rev. Jay Simpson of Kress; three sisters, Lillian Green of Lubbock and Lena Faye and Freda May Vail, both of Plainview; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Gillmore was born in 1924 at Antelope Flat in Donley County. She lived in Amarillo for more than 25 years before moving to Clarendon 19 years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of a non-denominational church. She married Claude Vernon Gilmore in 1942 at Clarendon. He preceded her in death in 1993. Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl Jean Adams and Mary Ann Howard, both of Clarendon; four sons, Vern R. Gilmore of Arlington, Ben Gilmore of Alexandria, Va., Garret Edward Gilmore of Waco and Robert Vernon Gilmore of West Fork, Ark.; her mother, Annie Mae Heckman of Clarendon; three brothers, Ray Heckman of Claude, Lowell Heckman of Pampa and Cecil Heckman of Walsenburg, Colo.; 18 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at West College and Third Street Church of Christ with the Rev. O.J. Welch, retired Baptist minister from Tatum N.M., officiating. Mrs. Williams grew up in Mills County and moved to Runnels County in 1927. She graduated from Drasco High School in 1929. After her marriage she lived around the Williams Ranch. She moved to Aiken in 1947. Mrs. Williams worked at Byrd's Pharmacy and was a member of the Aiken Baptist Church. She married Lois L. Williams in 1933 at Center Point. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1992 and a son, Kenneth Williams, in July. Survivors include a daughter, Peggy Cline of Dimmitt; two sons, Luther Williams of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Jerry Williams of Ruidoso, N.M.; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
