Requiem Mass will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Garden of Christus. Mr. Britten was born in Groom, Texas and graduated from Price College in 1951. He served with the National Guard for 12 years and was a heavy construction equipment salesman for 32 years. For 15 years, he was a member of the Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church, where he served as an usher and was a member of The Men's Club. He married Ann Estridge in 1951 at Amarillo, Texas. Mr. Britten was preceded in death by a son, James Michael Britten and a granddaughter, Laura Britten. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Dr. R.S. Britten of Ohio, Neil Britten of Edmond, and Robert Britten of Oklahoma City; a daughter, Gina West Shapiro of Oklahoma City; a sister, Joan Sanders of Amarillo; and six grandchildren. Mr. Pemberton was born in Toronto, Mo., and moved to Beaver County in 1947. He was a farmer and a member of the Bethel Church of God. He was a member of the Masons, a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star and a member of the I.O.O.F. He married Ruby Pemberton in 1947 at Beaver County. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jimmy Pemberton of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Stanley Pemberton of Kingwood, Texas; and a grandchild. Mrs. Burnett lived in the Jackson County area before moving to Wichita Falls, Texas. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Eldorado and recently moved to Alexandria. She married William Otis Burnett in 1924 at Quanah, Texas. He died in 1996. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Bobbie Gribble; a granddaughter, Dorothy Lynn Gribble; and a grandson, Dwight Burnett. Survivors include a son, Col. He served with the Army during the Korean War and was an ironworker until his retirement in 1985. He married Mary Jean Snow in 1960 at Dallas. She died in 1983. Mrs. Prouse was born in Gage, Okla., and lived in Kokomo, Ind., before moving to Texas. She earned a bachelor of arts degree from Wichita University and married Dr. Ervin J. Prouse in 1927 at Miami. They lived in Topeka, Kan., and later, Berkeley, Calif. For 52 years, they lived in Austin and moved to Park Place Towers in Amarillo in 1991. She was a member and former officer in the DAR, DAC, Huguenots, PEO, AAUW, Pathfinders Study Club, Faculty Wives University Ladies Club, Austin Woman's Club and the Standard Club. She was also a member of the University Methodist Church in Austin. Her husband died in 1998. Survivors include two daughters, Darlene Birkes of Pampa and Dr. Ruth Morgan of Dallas; a son, E.D. He graduated from Amarillo High School in 1935. He worked as an engineer for Santa Fe Railway from 1945 to 1985. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Army in Africa and Italy. He was a member of Polk Street United Methodist Church and volunteered at the Veterans Hospital. Mr. Berry married Billie Light in 1939 at Amarillo. Mrs. Youngman was born in Fairview, Okla. She graduated from Junction City High School at Junction City, Kan. She married Lester "Red" Youngman in 1934 at Enid, Okla. They moved to Edinburg in 1946. They lived in Georgetown from 1981 to 1997, when they moved to Amarillo. She was a founder and first president of the Edinburg Junior Service League. She served as secretary on the founding board of the Edinburg Public Library and was a member of the Edinburg Study Club. She was a member of the Faculty Wives Club at Pan American University. Mrs. Youngman worked as assistant librarian at Edinburg High School for 10 years. She served on the Georgetown Library Advisory Board during the planning and construction of the Georgetown Public Library. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mary Beth Ford of Amarillo and Evelyn Bryan of New Orleans; a sister, Betty Jane Vernon of Beaverton, Ore.; six grandchildren; and 11 greatgrandchildren. She was a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church, where she taught Primary I Sunday school class for 17 years. She was a member of the Esther Sunday school class, the Parent Teachers Association, Hansford Hospital Auxiliary and the Spearman Study Club. She was a charter member of the Gladiola Flower Club and was active with both the Girl and Boy Scouts of America. She married Marcus Larson in 1946 at Amarillo. He died in 1996. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Perryton. She married Odell Ryan in 1928 at Colorado City. He died in 1991.
