Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today and Sunday in Parkside Chapel Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in San Jose Catholic Church by the Rev. Adalberto Ramirez. Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday in the Olton Cemetery at Olton. Mr. Orosco was born in Artesia, N.M. He moved to Hereford in 1990. He was a member of San Jose Catholic Church. He married Rafaela Martinez in 1978 at Del Rio. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Jennifer Martinez of Hereford; his parents, Manuel and Maria Orosco of Hereford; three brothers, Joe Orosco of Minnesota, Jesse Orosco of Hereford and Leo Gonzales of California; three sisters, Priscella Salazar and Janie Corona, both of Hereford, and Eva Florez of Minnesota; and a grandchild. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Fritch Church of Christ with Richard Kasko, minister, officiating. Burial will be in the Garden of Devotion at Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors. Mrs. Prince was born in Shamrock and had moved from Shamrock to Fritch in 1954. She was a homemaker and member of the Fritch Church of Christ. She was a past member of the Sunshine Homemakers and the Panhandle Bird Dog Association. She married J.C. Prince in 1963 at Borger. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Glenda Guinn, in 1987; and by a son, Kenny Prince, in 1995. Survivors include her husband; four sons, Kenneth Beaty of Mustang, Okla., Jerry Prince and Bob Beaty of Borger and Bill Beaty of Odessa; a daughter, Sharon Smith of Amarillo; a sister, Naomi Kromer of Amarillo; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Cloyd was born in Driftwood, Okla. He had lived in Pampa since 1956. He worked as an engineer for the city of Pampa. He was a member of the First Christian Church, and past manager of the Pampa Municipal Credit Union. He was past president of the Breakfast Optimist Club, the Downtown Business Association and the Festival of Trees. He was involved in the planting of trees in downtown Pampa and the origination of the Babe Ruth Queen Contest of the Pampa Optimist Club. He married Peggy Longan in 1958 at Pampa. Survivors include his wife; a son, Ray Spence of Ramona, Calif.; three daughters, Janet Miller of Oklahoma City, Debbie Callison of Yukon, Okla., and Teresa Henson of Pampa; four brothers, Robert Cloyd of Cherokee, Okla., Earl Cloyd of Little Rock, Ark., Everett Cloyd of Pretty Prairie, Kan., and Ray Cloyd of Byron, Okla.; nine grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren. She was owner and operator of Spearman Floral & Gift Shop. She was a homemaker, a member of the Church of Christ and a volunteer at the Hansford County Library Thrift Shop. She married Daniel "Pinky" Sheets in 1936 at Amarillo. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Jerry Sheets of Spearman and Perry Sheets of San Antonio; a sister Barbara Barker of LaMarque; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Amarillo Daily News, Aug. 5, 2000 Allison Duvak MORTON - Allison Duvak, 81, died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2000. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Forest Srader, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Morton Memorial Cemetery by Ellis Funeral Home. Mr. Duvak was born in Bokchito, Okla. During World War II, he served in the Army, where he earned the Purple Heart. He moved to Morton in 1951 from Tahoka. He was retired from the Texas Highway Department. He was a Catholic. He married Daisy Sharber in Frederick, Okla., in 1940. She died in 1989. Survivors include three sisters, Alpha Sharber, Onie Sharber and Donie Sharber, all of Amarillo; and two brothers, Tommy Duvak and Walter Duvak, both of Amarillo. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. today in First Christian Church at Stillwater with Dr. William S. Inglish and M. Rick Hendricks officiating. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Aug. 16 in Memory Gardens Cemetery at Amarillo. Arrangements are by Strode Funeral Home in Stillwater. Mrs. Scanlan was born in Quay County, N.M., and grew up in Forest, N.M. She completed her degree in registered nursing at Northwest Texas Hospital in 1934. She worked in the operating room and emergency room before becoming head nurse of the hospital's pediatric ward in 1958. She eventually served as administrator for school nurses in Amarillo, retiring in 1975. She was a member of the Quilter's Guild and First Christian Church. She moved to Stillwater in 1990. She married Richard Michael Scanlan in 1934 at Tulia. He died in 1985. Survivors include a daughter, Jane Kay Defee of Stillwater; and two grandchildren. Mrs. Jones was born in Lehigh, Indian Territory. She moved to Amarillo in 1944 from Caddo, Okla. She was a homemaker. She married William Jesse Jones Sr. at Sherman. He preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by two sons, William Jesse Jones Jr. and Buck Jones. Survivors include a daughter, Bettie Horne of Tifton, Ga.; three sons, Sam Jones of Sulphur Springs and Earl Jones and James Jones, both of Amarillo; 12 grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd. Mr. Reeves was born in Montague County, and attended school in Forestburg. During World War II, he served in the Army Air Corps. He was a radar operator with the 737 Bomber Squadron, serving in Hawaii, the Philippines, Saipan, Okinawa and Iwo Jima. He worked in the retail liquor sales business in Amarillo, and had owned and operated Star Liquors and other liquor stores. He also owned and operated Reeves Water Well Service in Amarillo. Mr. Reeves married Dora Lee White in 1974 at Amarillo. Survivors include his wife; a son, Gil Reeves of Amarillo; a brother, Oval Reeves of Amarillo; two sisters, Evelyn Barclay of Borger and Irene Phelan of Stinnett; two grandsons. Survivors include his wife Susan Johnson; his mother and stepfather, Edith and Terry Ardrey of Clovis; his father, Donny Jones of Houston; a sister Shenieva Ardrey of Clovis; and grandmothers, Willette Johnson and Pearlie Jones, both of Clovis. Mrs. Sipes was born in Elkhart and was a lifelong resident. She worked as a cook for School District No. 218 and was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Christian Church and the Hospital Auxiliary in Elkhart. She married Roscoe Sipes in 1940 at Hugoton. He died in 1996. Survivors include a son, Ivan Sipes of Elkhart; two daughters, Lois Irene Watkins of Topeka and Phyllis Barnes of Georgetown, Texas; a sister, Betty Foreman of Amarillo; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
