Mrs. Weiland was born in Baltimore and had lived in Stratford since 1984. She was a bookkeeper for Professional Hay Service and a member of First Christian Church. She moved to Pampa in 1984. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Spur. She married Henry C. Gruben in 1922 at Spur. He died in 1984. Survivors include a son, Henry W. Mr. Todd was born and raised in Swisher County. He graduated as president of the class in 1952 from Happy High School. He farmed in Swisher County, retiring in 1994. He owned and operated The Water Works Store in Tulia from 1995 to 1997. He was a charter member and secretary of Happy Jaycees. He was a member of the Happy Days Association and Happy Rodeo Association. He was a Happy Stock Show sponsor and was instrumental in establishing the First State Bank in Tulia. Burial will be in Ulysses Cemetery at Ulysses by Garnand Funeral Home of Ulysses. Mr. Black was born in Russell, Kan., and had lived in Ulysses since 1972. During World War II he served in the 8th Air Force of the Army Air Corps as a flight engineer and gunner on a B-17. He was an exploration supervisor for Amoco, retiring in 1980. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 6240 in Russell, American Legion Post No. 79 in Ulysses and St. John's Episcopal Church. Mr. Black was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Zorn, in 1970. He married Marilyn Hands-Hacker in 1975 at Ulysses. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park. Mrs. Wesley was born and raised in Cedar Hill, where she attended school. She married Gus Harold Wesley in 1936 at Amarillo. They lived in Cedar Hill, Amarillo, Canyon and Panhandle. In 1953 they moved to Plainview, where they owned and operated Wesley's Electric and The General Mercantile Store. They moved to Lubbock in 1993. She attended First Assembly of God in Plainview. She was a member and Noble Grand of Rebekah Lodge. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Waldo Wesley of Plainview and Walt Wesley and Dean Wesley, both of Lubbock; two brothers, Junior Taylor of Lockney and Dale Taylor of Hollis, Okla.; eight grandchildren; 18 greatgrandchildren and a great-great-grandson. He married Frances Mary Harbison in 1943 at Bakersfield, Calif. She died in 1998. Burial was in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Miller was born in Bantry, N.D. She graduated from Western Union College in 1940. She married Harold E. Madery in Coggon, Iowa, in 1940. In 1949 they moved to Clovis where they operated Madery's Flowerland. He died in 1969. She continued to operated their business, retiring in 1987. She was past president of Soroptimist Club and the Benevolent Protective Order Does No. 108, and active in florist organizations and church activities. She was church organist for many years at Central Christian Church. She married J. Le Roy Miller in 1988 and moved to Corpus Christi. Survivors include her husband; a son, Ron Madery of Taft, Calif.; a daughter, Camille Madery Pavao of Houston; two stepdaughters, Sharolyn Linton of Corpus Christi and Susan Green of Lockhart; and three grandchildren. Mrs. Killebrew was born in St. Joseph, Mo., where she graduated from Oak Grove High School. She attended Fort Scott Junior College and graduated from Pittsburg State University in 1963. She taught grade school and kindergarten for 26 years, five years in Missouri and Kansas schools and 21 years of kindergarten in Neodesha. She was a member of Neodesha United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. She was a Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of the National Education Association, the Tuesday Club and the Delta Kappa Gamma Society. She married Oris R. Killebrew in 1943 at Galveston, Texas. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Lewis G. Killebrew of Amarillo and John R. Killebrew of Ocala, Fla.; a brother, Eldon Hellums of Savannah, Mo.; and four grandsons. The family suggests memorials be to Neodesha United Methodist Church. Memorial will be accepted at the funeral home.
