Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Dunn Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Wes Stewart of Temple Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Foster was born in Dawson and had lived in Tucumcari since 1950. She was a homemaker and had been an Avon sales representative. She volunteered at Van Ark Care Center and was a member of Temple Baptist Church and the Pioneer Senior Citizens. Survivors include a daughter, Dale Ann Bade of Tucson; a son, Ray Pannell of Tucumcari; two stepdaughters, Charlotte Bowen and Iris Wagner; a brother, Herbert A. Blakely; and two grandchildren. Burial will be in Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors. Mrs. Bush was born in Mansker, in Union County. She grew up on a farm and ranch in the Sedan / Stead area and was a lifelong resident of Union County. She worked at Union County General Hospital for 20 years, she started as a nurse's aide and retired in 1993 as a dietitian. She was a member of Texline Church of Christ. Survivors include a daughter, Eva L. Murdock of Felt, Okla.; two sons, Stephen M. Bush and Edwin N. Bush, both of Albuquerque; a sister Jequita Saunders of Batavia, Ill.; a brother, Buddie M. Adams of Scottsdale, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Cross was born in Elmwood and lived in Beaver County all of her life. She worked as a nurse and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Mr. Lynn was born in Fornfelt, Mo., and graduated from Canalou, Mo., High School. He served in the Air Force. He moved to Odessa in 1949 and then to Lubbock in 1973. He retired from Car Town Auto Sales in 1986. He worked with the Health Watch and was a member of the Open Heart Club and the West End Church of Christ. He married Charlotte Greenlee in 1949 at Pickett, Ark. Survivors include his wife; five sons, Dale Lynn of Round Rock, Don Lynn of Lubbock, Eric Lynn and Dane Lynn, both of Amarillo, and Derek Lynn of Denton; a sister, Margaret Ward of San Angelo; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Albright was born in Amarillo. She graduated from Post High School at Post in 1938 and attended Draughon's Business College in Lubbock. She returned to Amarillo in 1941. She had worked for Hill Motor Lines, Denver Amarillo Express and Merchants Fast Motors Lines. She began working for the Potter County Sheriff's Department in 1965 and retired in 1985. Mrs. Albright was a member of the Sheriffs Association of Texas, Order of the Eastern Star Bonita Chapter No. 184, Beta Sigma Phi and the Downtown Lions Club, where she served as pianist for 30 years. She married N.B. Albright in 1948 at Amarillo. He died in 1965. Survivors include a sister, Jo Crump of Amarillo; and several nieces and nephews. The family will be at 502 S. Mr. DeRight was born in Ontario, N.Y., and moved to Amarillo in 1954 from Palmyra, N.Y. He was a veteran of the Air Force and worked as a food-service salesman. She moved to Amarillo in 1945 from Artesia, N.M. Mrs. McAlester retired from Rice Restaurant as salad chef after 25 years. She married Cecil McAlester in 1956 at Amarillo. He died in 1991. She married Jim McNeal in 1950 at Albuquerque, N.M. He died in 1991. She was also preceded in death by a son, Olin McNeal in 1956. Survivors include four daughters, Vickie Stewart of Guymon, Okla., Mary McNeal of Springfield, Colo., Betsy McNeal of Amarillo, and Betty Kerr of Canyon; a sister, Peggy White of Texhoma; a brother, J. She taught school in El Paso for 19 years and in Amarillo for 2 years. She was a member of Women on Wheels, American Mensa, American Motorcycle Association, National Rifle Association, and American Federated Teacher's Association. Mrs. Barker was a member of Open Gate Church of Nazarene in El Paso. Miss Moreno was born in Amarillo and attended Palo Duro High School. She ran cross country and track. Miss Moreno was in the A.C.E. Program, a member of the Interact Club and on the honor roll. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by a brother, Alfredo Moreno Jr. in 1980. He moved to Amarillo in 1977 from Santa Fe. Mr Haar worked as a manager for Furr's Supermarkets in Santa Fe and Amarillo Fe for many years. He was a Navy veteran and a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. He married Annabelle Anaya in 1977 at Santa Fe. Mr. Haar was preceded in death by two children. Survivors include his wife; a stepson, Dan Anaya of Santa Fe; a brother, Thomas Haar of St. Louis; one daughter; three sons;and one grandchild. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery by Gililland-Watson Funeral Home. Mrs. Brown was born in Summerfield. She graduated from West Texas Teachers College in 1929. She taught school for 34 years, including 23 years in Hereford, five years at St. Anthony's and six years at other schools in the Panhandle. She was named Mother of the Year in 1975, Pioneer of the Year in 1986, Outstanding Citizen in 1976 and Citizen of the Year in 1990. She was a past member of Delta Kappa Gamma. She married C.E. Brown in 1927 at Canyon. She was preceded in death by her husband; and by a son, Emmett Brown, in 1975. Survivors include three daughters, Emma Jane Roberts of Lamesa and Colline Kinsey and Martha Jean Burrus, both of Childress; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Amarillo Daily News, April 7, 2000 Robert William Sheffy DIMMITT - Robert William Sheffy, 76, died Wednesday, April 5, 2000. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church with Rev. Rusty Dickerson officiating. Arrangements are by Foskey-Lilley-McGill Funeral Home. Mr. Sheffy grew up in Dimmitt and graduated from Dimmitt High School in 1941. He served in the Navy during World War II and was awarded 11 battles stars. Mr. Sheffy served as the Castro County veterans officer for many years. He was an auto salesman for 40 years. Mr. Sheffy farmed and raised cattle for 10 years. He married Mildred Sheffy after World War II, she preceded him in death. Mr. Sheffy married Virgie Gibson Sheffy in 1999 at Amarillo. Survivors include three daughters, Janie Vick of Dimmitt, and Connie Sheffy and Robbie Sheffy, both of Fort Worth; a son, Joe Sheffy of Katy; two brothers, Don Sheffy and Rex Sheffy of Dimmitt; three sisters, Ruth Jackson of Dimmitt, Dorothy Bond of Colorado and Tommy Bills of Earth; and four grandchildren. Arrangements are by Ellis Funeral Home of Muleshoe. Mr. Lunsford was born in Farwell, and moved to Muleshoe in 1938. He was a farmer and a member of the Church of Christ.
