She married Dennis Walker in 1930 at Pampa. He died in 1974. She also was preceded in death by a son, Dale Walker; and by a daughter, Dorthy Wood Hartley. During World War II, he served with the Marine Corps in the South Pacific. He retired in 1983 as an operator for Phillips Petroleum Co. He was a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He held the office of High Priest of the Melchizedek Priesthood. Mr. Waldrop married JoAnn Hoyler in 1953 at Pampa. She died in 1978. Survivors include a son, Bill Waldrop of Borger; a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Apple of Madison, Va.; a sister, Eunice Brittain of Morgantown, N.C.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Lemons Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Robert Black, minister of music at First Baptist Church, officiating. Mrs. Haile was born in Aspermont. She graduated from Anton High School in 1934, earned a bachelor's degree at Texas Tech University in 1938 and earned her master's degree in 1954. She moved to Plainview in 1962 and worked with the Texas Education Agency, supervising the homemaking and FHA programs in the Panhandle South Plains Area. She retired in 1984. Mrs. Haile was a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas, Daughters of the American Revolution, Daughters of the Confederacy, Colonial Dames, First Family of Texas and First Family of Tennessee. She was active with the Plainview Toastmasters and was named Toastmaster of the Year in 1985. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She married James Randolph Haile in 1943 at Montgomery, Ala. She worked for Dimmitt Wheat Growers and then for the Texas Employment Commission, retiring in 1981. Ms. Williams was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and Eta Eta Lauriate Chapter of Amarillo. She served on the board of the American Campfire Girls in Hereford and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dimmitt. She married C.C. Williams in 1944 at Clovis, N.M. Survivors include a daughter, Kaye Stevens of Dimmitt; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He graduated from Dimmitt High School and attended the University of California at Berkley. He served in the Marines. He was involved in the formation of the Harry S. Truman Dam at Warsaw, and after its completion, he worked as a dredge operator on the Arkansas River. Mr. Honea was a member of the Operating Engineers Union, a mason, and a Methodist. He married Bonnie Jo Estes in 1964. She was was involved in Democratic politics. She married Harold O. Hyman in 1946 at Clovis. He died in 1983. He had lived in Lubbock since 1976 and was a member of the St. Newman Catholic Church in Lubbock. Mr. Freeman was born in Porter. He moved to the Panhandle area in 1985 from Wagoner. He had lived in Hooker for the past nine years. He was a cowboy with Cattle Empire in Satanta, Kan., and also bought and sold horses. He married Edna Marie Kiser in 1965 at Ontario, Calif. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Sherry Winkler of Plains, Kan.; two sons, Roy Freeman of Liberal, Kan., and Brian Freeman of Plains; his mother, Viola Zone of Lamar, Ark.; nine brothers and sisters; and five grandchildren. She married Harold Rowe in 1938 at Hutchinson, Kan., and they moved to Beaver in 1968. He died in March. She was a member of St. Cabrini Catholic Church, St. Cabrini's Altar Society, Beaver Nursing Home Auxiliary and the Beaver Historical Society.
